This week, the MN House released its Omnibus Health Bill which is a Trojan horse for further codifying abortion provisions into our state laws. Acting Director of Public Policy, Rebecca Delahunt, explains how this bill would strip funding from Pregnancy Resource Centers, expand taxpayer funding of abortion, eliminate abortion reporting requirements and all remaining protections for vulnerable women and girls facing unplanned pregnancies, and allow medical staff to leave babies who survive an abortion to die. On Thursday, March 23rd, the Minnesota House held a floor session on the Kidnapping Bill (HF 146). Along with allied groups, we brought hundreds of people to the Capitol to show their opposition to this dangerous bill, which passed the House in the early hours of Friday morning despite vigorous opposition. Grace and Moses broadcast live from the Capitol with key updates, including exclusive behind the scenes content from a rally right outside the House Chamber where opponents and supporters converged. If passed by the Senate and signed by the Governor, this dangerous bill would allow a court of the state to take custody of children if parents do not want their children to undergo gender transition or other so-called “gender-affirming” procedures. Over 650 pro-life Minnesotans showed up in solidarity this week to peacefully protest against abortion extremism at our Capitol.
