Speeding is a poem featured in Scattered Showers! I decided to break this piece down in honor of Queen Media Collective’s red flag green flag themed week. We talk about similarities in relationships and taking trips. Trust me, it’s an episode worth tapping into!

This episode of Misha’s Room is about love. Or at least the fears that are often associated with love. It is scary! I know I’ve been in quite a few relation/situationships that left me a little nervous about embracing something new. Love is and gets complicated. It’s important to acknowledge your Fears though. Suit Up was written to pay homage to my resilient Black community. My culture. My essence. We are such magnificent beings; masterfully created. This is an empowerment piece. I think of the current (and past) state of America and immediately get irritated. Thankfully, I've mastered the art of letting things roll off of my back. The strides we continue to make on a day-to-day basis are adding up. Change is coming, so I suggest you Suit Up.

This impromptu episode is dedicated to my late Grandma Joyce. She passed away on September 22, 2019. Her funeral was October 5, 2019. I was scared I'd lose my mind. I'm still a bit concerned about that, but I'm trying to practice what I preach so please know I am supported! Thank God I am loved because I couldn't get through this alone. To be transparent, I'm hoping this episode aids in my process. If you've ever felt this pain, I'm open to more help just hit me up. If you haven't, please take your grandma to lunch or something.
