I also discuss how to recognize other people's boundaries. When you do not set boundaries you are sacrificing your happiness and  you tend to enable others and not allow them to learn how to help themselves. Setting boundaries is a great way to separate your feelings from other people feelings while protecting you emotional, mental and physical well-being.  Yes, boundary setting may not feel good if you're not use to being consistent with setting them, but they are surely necessary. In your effort to live authentically, it is vital that you are clear when it comes to your guiding principles. Often times we carry beliefs and values taught to us by our parents and caregivers. But when was the last time you took stock of what you stand on and believe in NOW? Are you aware that your subconscious is always recording, even when you make negative statements about yourself like, " I am so fat" or I am so stupid." In this episode, I am giving you over 90 positive statements you can use to rewrite the negative self talk stored in your subconscious. My call to action for you is to listen to this episode at least 2 times a day. This can be in the morning and mid-day or on the ride home from work for 21 days. Do yourself a favor and follow through with this call to action so that you can start rewriting your negative self talk. Also remember to correct any negative self-talk immediately by working to correct it with positive statements about you.

MDEP3: 6 Pillars of Self Esteem Series: Pillar 02 Self Acceptance

Come and join me on a journey to your authentic self as we focus on Self Acceptance. This episode is the second episode of a 6 episode series covering the 6 Pillars of Self-Esteem by Nathaniel Branden. In this episode I will go over the definition of self acceptance to help you gain clarity on how to be more self accepting , less adversarial and non-compassionate with yourself. In order to live authentically and show up as your authentic self, it is important for you to be self accepting because this will help build your self-esteem, help you trust your self more , and increase your confidence.
HOMEWORK: Over the next seven days I would like for you to complete 1 sentence stem a day for the next 7 days and give it 6 six different endings for each stem. Go to Instagram( #MissionDorothy) and click the link in bio for worksheets. Don't forget to follow!
Also, go back to episode 2 and complete the Compassion Meditation at least 3 to 4 times a week so that you can walk with compassion for yourself and others. Enjoy!

MDEP2: A Compassion Meditation

Join me as we go on a journey to spread compassion to the world and ourselves. Life can be tough as we live in these difficult times and this makes it easy to not give or receive compassion due to this culture of  selfishness out in the world. Lets be intentional and take some time to focus on compassion for ourselves and others. After you complete this meditation please take a little more time to complete the homework. Remember, you have to do the work to create positive change!

HOMEWORK:  Write for 2 full minutes for each journaling prompt below. Once you’ve finished, take a minute to read what you wrote and reflect.

MDEP1: 6 Pillars of Self Esteem Series: Pillar 01 Living Consciously

This episode is the first episode of a six episode series covering the "6 Pillars of Self-Esteem" by Nathaniel Branden. In this episode I will go over the definition to help you gain clarity on how not being conscious can show up in your life as well as give you some steps you can take to start living consciously. I will also give you a homework assignment to complete at the end of this episode so then you can start to do the work of living consciously and reconnect into your authentic self. 

HOMEWORK: Sentence Stem Completion. Remember to not over analyze your answers and write out the first thing that comes to mind! I know I said invent something if you get stuck (I was just kidding), but seriously just move to the next one and come back to the one you were  stuck on.
