Mission Sicily

On this first episode of a brand new season, and the very first of this year, we wanted to take a look at the day-to-day rhythms that keep this ministry rolling forward. Sure, there are lots of things that happen throughout the week that we won't mention here, from prayer and strategy meetings to counseling and the like. What we will examine are the routine, but strategic, "encounter points" that we've created in order to help take ourselves and other Jesus followers deeper into the scriptures. We're helping them to wrestle with the word, and grapple with the gospel, and become more firmly fit together in the Body, grounded and effective in ministry.

Leading disciple-makers to be daring and courageous in the face of opposition. What does wholesale allegiance to Jesus look like, and what could it inevitably cost you? Join us on this episode as we explore the Risks and Rewards while working in His Harvest Fields!

A SPECIAL "LIVE" EPISODE!

This is the first time we've been able to sit down and record the three of us together: Gino, Stefano and Brian. We talked about the mission shift we're seeing here in Sicily. A shift that's happening in the church in Italy, as we cooperate with the Holy Spirit in His mission to seek and save the lost. We delve into several topics in this conversation that we haven't gone into depth on before. From how disciple-making is happening in the community, not just inside the walls of the church building, to church-planting being reborn here in Sicily, post Covid, to the work we're doing among the down and out of our community, as well as impact for refugees and immigrants. We left a little of the Italian language in there, so you can get a feel for the Italian context we work in, just 30 seconds here or there, so hopefully that's not a deterrent from being able to really understand what's being said and the heart that we have for disciple-making.
