98. The Paxton Boys Massacre: Every Accusation is a Confession
We are wrapping up our massacre series with the Paxton Boys Massacre.
The Paxton Boys were a group of vigilantes active in Pennsylvania during the 18th century, specifically in the 1760s. They were primarily of Scots-Irish origin and were angered by what they perceived as the inadequate protection of their settlements from Native American attacks by the colonial government. In December 1763, they carried out a violent massacre against the peaceful Conestoga Native American tribe and later attacked the Lancaster jail where Native Americans were being held for their protection. That jailhouse now serves as a theater and according to some, harbors the ghosts of those murdered as well as a beloved actress.

97. The Ghost of Broad Mountain
In this episode, we welcome listener Kevin to our show with his first-hand accounts of the hauntings at Black Horse Tavern (Now The Iron Mule). We covered this site and the mafia hit that took place here in Episode One. Tying in with the Coal Country Mafia, we discussed a place that Kevin has explored before, Broad Mountain, and the grisly murder of a still-identified girl found there.
Side Mission: Pennsylvania Betrayals
March has long been associated with one of the biggest betrayals in History: The Ides of March Assassination of Julius Caesar. So we thought it would be fitting to round out the month with two betrayals against our Native American people here in Pennsylvania: The Walking Purchase and the Kinzua Dam. One of these ties in with our episodes on the Gnadenhutten Massacre, The Battle of Bloody Brook, and The forthcoming Paxton Boys episode.

94. The Witch Diggers
The Bichshler Witch Diggers were a group of three siblings - Nick, Sam, and Susan Bischler - who lived in Indiana in the mid-19th century. The siblings claimed to be plagued by "witches" and became consumed with the idea that they were being haunted by them. This led to a period of monomania, during which the siblings dug a ditch so deep and wide that folks from around the farm, had no choice but to finally notice the mania. The story became a local legend, and the Bischler Witch Diggers are now remembered as an eerie example of the dangers of obsession and superstition. Is there anything paranormal to this story, or is this a case of mental instability brought on by PTSD and childhood trauma?
* Our featured music in this episode is Two Witches with " The Last Day".

* It's Friday the 13th, the day when anything is possible. You are listening to Rogue Transmissions. Paige, of Reverie True Crime, comes over the airwaves to explain the origins of Friday the 13th. Why are people all over the world so superstitious, and fearful, and consider this day the unluckiest of all?

As of now, 15 feet have washed ashore on the coast of the Salish Sea in British Columbia, Canada, and a few in the state of Washington that matched some of the other feet in British Columbia. Thirteen of those feet have been identified. Where are these feet coming from? Who do these feet belong to?
*Suddenly, Our True Crime Podcast, with hosts Jen and Cam, breaks through the static. They tell us about Samantha and Calvin, the love birds moving into this eerie home. Everything is not as it seems and you won't believe what is uncovered.
*Then, Nikki, of Serial Napper, comes on. The classic horror film, Friday the 13th, may seem unreal but Nikki tells us about a terrifying tragedy that occurred in 1960 in Finland. Four teenagers went camping at Lake Bodom and were slain. This case seems like it is straight out of a horror movie, but unfortunately, these are actual events that will make you second guess that summer camping trip.
*Spine Chillers and Serial Killers, hosted by Emma, Tash, and Becky, switch on. Their first story happened on Friday the 13th in 1972 when Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571 was headed to Santiago, Chile. What happened is known as the Andes flight disaster, or the Miracle of the Andes. Then, we are presented with a disturbing occurrence from Friday the 13th in 2012. Brittany Kilgore was murdered during, what she thought, was an S&M session.
*Lastly, you won't believe what happened on Friday the 13th at 13:13 to a 13-year-old boy in Lowestoft, England.
