#13 Embracing Change
How do you show up when change happens in your life?
Are you in fear? Flight, fright or freeze?
Do you embrace it with open arms?
If you struggle with change, how do you wish you embraced it?
Missy goes into some personal updates, how she's embracing feminine energy moving away from harsh, strict deadlines and pressure to a more flowy, fluid existence. How she's managing the divorce process. So much is in flux. It can feel chaotic, out of control. By tuning into the breath (there's a little meditation during the middle of this episode), we can more easily ground into the present moment where everything is okay.

#12 Healing Non-Romantic Relationships
Connections with others is so important.
Why is that something that we let go of when we're in a romantic relationship?
In today's episode Missy talks about what she's been doing to really connect with female friends again this year as part of her new years intention.
We go over some forgiveness work that can make it easier to trust friends if there has been a lot of trauma with friends in the past. We talked about Ho'Oponopono meditation to lean into that forgiveness work and the cutting of energetic cords to give them their energy back and reclaim our own energy back to us so that the energy vampires can't keep benefiting from our good vibes.
Missy shares personal stories of reconnecting with old friends and some good ways to structure calls, if you're more of a planner or to be more sporadic with the connections that you have with friends. Connect with your friends when you feel called. There is an energetic connection so likely if you're thinking about them, they're also thinking about you. Reach out!!!

# 10: 2020 Intention Setting Journal Prompts
#9- Breaking Vegan & Creating more Flexibility in your Life
It has been a while since my last episode so I wanted to share some updates in my life.
Recently, I’ve been reevaluating a lot that has been going on that is no longer serving me. I’ve been vegan since 2017 and recently I’ve not been feeling like it’s serving me in a positive way. I’ve been feeling lethargic, gaining weight and just not feeling the greatest. So I’ve decided to go back to eating meat. Being thankful for how the food came to my plate and really being mindful of how I’m eating and how I’m feeling when eating food. I'm definitely not saying, "Don't be vegan" I LOVED being vegan, it just was causing me more harm than good in the end. Will eating meat last for me? Who knows! I might be vegan again some day.
Journal prompts for you (along with a little meditation during the episode 🥰)
1. How can you be more flexible in your life?
2. Is there something that you’re doing that is no longer serving you to your highest potential? Why are you still doing it? What’s holding you back from changing it up?
3. How can you be kinder to yourself and tap into your intuition to do more of what fees good and in alignment in your life? Meditate on that!
Thank you so much for listening!!

#7- How to fight Overwhelm at Work
#6 - How to answer: "So, how's work going?"
Then you realize something else is happening.
The Holidays are coming up and if you haven’t already been going to parties, you’re about to. Whether you’re spending time with friends or family inevitably someone is going to ask you how your job is going. If you HATE your job, what the heck are you going to say?
Are you going to be honest and maybe look like you’re complaining?
Are you going to lie and say that everything is fabulous but want to throw up when you’re saying it because it is so inauthentic to how you really feel about it?
Maybe you started your own business and it’s a little woo woo and your parents/family are NOT woo woo at all and you’re wondering how to tell them that you left your stable 9-5 to pursue your passion.
How are you going to tell the story of what you do?
Telling the story.
Steps you can take to craft a career story even when you’re unhappy in your current job:
1. Think of the Positives
2. Think of the Frustrations
3. Analyze
4. Digging Deep on the Frustrations
5. Spin it!
6. Share it

#5 - Patience & Persistence vs. Needy & Overbearing in your Job Search
After listening to this episode, think about these questions:
- There’s a very fine line in the job search of being patient and persistent vs needy and overbearing. What side have you fallen on in the past?
- If you’ve been overbearing, what are some ways you can get into a headspace that allows you to remain calm and collected when in that weird job limbo phase? Journal it out.

#4 - 3 Lessons Learned from Breathwork Meditation
Actions/Journal prompts:
For this week, notice the internal dialogue that you’re saying to yourself. Is she nice? Is she mean? How can you be kinder to yourself and to other people?
Really tune in to how you’re feeling when making decisions. Do you make them from your heart or from your head? Can you tell the difference? Take a pause and really breathe into the decision to let your intuition take the lead. What is going to make you happy in this moment and decide from that place.
Is the universe constantly sending you messages that you’re not listening to? Have you been listening to these nudges? What are they and how are you going to take one action step toward this sign?
Let me know how it goes for you! Send me a DM on Instagram @missymscott. I can't wait to hear from you and thank you so much for hanging out with me today!
