Speaking of Detroit, Donald Trump's Presidential Campaign released a few radio ads targeting Black voters in the area, and yes, yes they are as insulting and racist as you think they are, and we'll discuss why. Republican Grifter Vivek Ramaswamy just might have gotten his "wake up call" after having right wing provocateur Ann Coulter on his show, totally blowing up his spot. A Black Male teacher has just lost his job after he live streamed some of his female students taking down braids in his hair. A Virginia school board has opted to go back on reforms and reinstate the names of Confederate leaders on 2 schools in their district. And R&B legend Anita Baker may have just damaged her brand by cancelling a concert at the last minute, with many of the patrons going to the show as it was their Mother's Day Gift. The WNBA seems to have been caught flat footed in the newfound demand for the league, as fans expressed their displeasure of not being able to watch the pre-season debuts of Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso for the Chicago Sky. Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick showed up at a Donald Trump rally in Michigan this past week, while CBS News runs another story about Black Men and their intentions of voting for Donald Trump this fall. Alabama Gov. Tate Reeves declared the month of April to be Confederate Heritage Month in Alabama. California lawmakers are seeking to ban Clear, the service that allows for travelers to get to the front of the line at airport security checkpoints. White University Of Mississippi students mock a Black pro-Palestinian protester during demonstrations on campus. White Baton Rouge Louisiana residents seek to split away from Baton Rouge and create their own town, and we've got some listener feedback to get to. We come into 2024 celebrating not only the New Year, but also the 1 year anniversary of the Mr. Spann Official Podcast, and this week represents 13 years in podcasting for Mr. Spann. Joe Biden has been forgiven student loans for over 3 million borrowers, and as he kicks off his reelection campaign, he's making an effort to make sure that people know just that. Then, we move on to Blue Blazes, where Katt Williams set the Internet ON FIRE with his appearance on the Club Shay Shay show on YouTube, where he aired out other comedians for stealing jokes, fighting for his integrity, and did he slyly clown host Shannon Sharpe for allowing people to lie on his show, while telling a few fibs himself? We'll definitely dive in. And over in Vegas, a dude who should have been an Olympian showed off his high jump abilities while ATTACKING A JUDGE AT HIS SENTENCING!" And in the college football world, College Game Day host Reece Davis introduced a segment about University of Alabama Quarterback Jalen Milroe, and innocently walked into to the most hilariously awkward exchange in this short year. Or did he? Then we move on to Proud To Be American, where we find that Republican efforts to crack down on "voter fraud" largely targets Democratic areas, and minority voters. And Christopher Rufo, the conservative operative who's weaponized terms like CRT to roll back historical curriculums across the country, has now managed with congressional help, and pressure, to get the now former President of Harvard University, Claudine Gay to resign her position, and disingenuously used the accusation of plagiarism to do it. It's gotten so bad that both Stephen A. Smith, and Jemele Hill have had to say something. The now former congressman George Santos has started airing out some of his former colleagues on social media, after he was booted from the House of Representatives. The City of Philadelphia has decided to legislate a ban on the wearing of ski mask in certain places, and some civil rights activist are a bit upset about it. And the alleged BLM organizer who seemingly loves Donald Trump, finally made his way to Fox News, and suddenly Fox News was down with BLM? Actress Juliana Margulis has found herself under fire for suggesting that Black people have been brainwashed to hate Jews in relation to the current war going on in Israel vs. Hamas. And speaking of Israel, a New York Times report was just released alleging that Israel knew of the planned attack on them up to a year before the attack happened.
