We're Back! and here with a new show "What's the Chat?" It's a weekly show between Khathu and Khumo where they talk about what's currently trendy, relevant, and interesting to the youth. It's a youthful, fun take on the world around us with a little banter between friends. We are back for 2024! In this week's episode, we talk to Katlego Mokgosi, who defines himself as an activist, student leader, and creative. He was the Deputy Head of St David's in 2022 and currently attends the University of Witwatersrand. Episode 4 of a conversation with student leaders takes a deep dive into who our future leaders are and what their experiences have been in leadership. Will they be voting? How have they grown? Is student politics still in their future? In this episode, we sit down with Grace Nyapfungwe, Head of School for 2023 at St. Peter’s College. She shares her experience of leading change towards a more liberal mindset within the school. We are back! Making our return for 2023. In this episode Letho and Khumo take deep dive into the current mass appeal to study abroad by many students in South Africa, particularly looking at the recent success of many students in the last two years. They unpack the reality, limitations and possibilities that come with this appeal and people actually taking the jump to go study abroad and gain a new experience. We hope you enjoy another day of being Misunderstood.

In the final episode for 2022 Khumo and Letho continue the conversation from last week and come to a completely different conclusion. Still viewing it from the same perspective but with different information and experiences. They speak about the struggles within the black community, with men and with society as whole. But the conclusion reached isn't one many would expect. So the question is, are we all black? 

In the second last episode of the season. Khumo ,along with Letho, try and shed light on the different mindset that exists with POC communities. At first glance it seem similar but there's distinct differences between African and Black mindset. Moreover, how they actualise within communities in around South Africa and Africa as whole. Getting closer to the end of the year, there was nothing to speak about. So we gave insight to the boys chat. Where literally everything and anything takes place. This really is a conversation that's all over the place Khumo accompanied with MD and Sabelo speak about all things concerning the boys. We hope you enjoy another day of being Misunderstood. 

As per usual Khumo is back. Unpacking another topic. An idea many of us have been witness to or embodied F*ck boy mentality. The concept of not caring, messing around and never committing to a significant other. This episode he's accompanied by Sabelo. A friend, a brother of his, who unpack his experience, his view of love, f boy mentality and his own failed situationships. We hope you enjoy another day of being misunderstood. 

In the absence of Kgosi, the show find a new identity and narrative. Khumo is always here to host and discuss the most controversial, misunderstood and difficult topics. However, he can't do it alone. So we introduce MD to the show who provides a different perspective, voice and view of the show. We don't know where this path goes. So come along on this journey with us. As we unpack what it means to be Misunderstood. 

This episode as per usual Kgosi and Khumo take us on journey. As they try to navigate and unpack the dating scene which is currently influenced by wokeism, social media and pressures of school. Unpacking their different outlooks of love and dating. As always you know they just trying to unpack things which have been Misunderstood. 

In this episode, Kgosi and Khumo dive deeply into the limitations of the black community. Engage with the different concepts that have kept the community shackled by its oppression and entrapped in a mental which doesn't allow for success—discussing very difficult conversations which are disregarded and misinterpreted. Disclaimer This is not a lecture but rather a way of thinking that many people should consider and make sense of. To escape the mental prison of oppression, prejudice and other hardships. 

This week's episode is hosted by none other than Kgosi and Khumo looks at Ye's current rant, formally known as Kanye. Unpacking his action from "white lives matter" to his statements about the Jewish community. They unpack probably one of the most misunderstood men of the 21st Century. They don't condone his actions but we question his behaviour and find some truth to what he is doing.
