As a Director at Buckner Children and Family Services Inc, she is actively involved in supporting vulnerable families. Furthermore, she is the Founder of Redemption Way, a non-profit organization focused on assisting women facing domestic violence situations.
Jordyn's personal journey has also led her to publish a children's book titled "A Tribe of Her Own." This book is based on her own life experiences and aims to convey an essential message about diversity and individuality. Growing up as a bi-racial individual, Jordyn faced challenges where she felt like she had to choose one side over the other, highlighting the complexities of identity and belonging.

As a mother to two lovely girls, Jordyn aspires to be a role model for her daughters and all children, emphasizing the importance of celebrating our unique backgrounds, upbringings, and life experiences that make each of us special. I also have guests, Valerie, Brenda, and Bree from Family Promise of Lubbock. Family Promise empowers homeless families with children to achieve long-term independence by providing temporary shelter, support, and growth opportunities. Brenda is sharing her story of how Family Promise helped get her off the streets and out of a violent relationship. This organization gave her the tools to provide for her family and also inspired her to give back to her community.

She helped open the first KIPP Charter School High School in California and is the Founder of Kaleidoscope Collaborative. Kaleidoscope Collaborative leverages multidisciplinary partnerships to support learner variability and inclusive instructional practices in elementary schools. Her desire to not only help her daughter who has Autism but to help ensure that all children grow up in a world that provides them every opportunity to reach their full potential is what drives her mission. Patrinia is inspiring real change is also providing tools and resources to help others do the same.
