Season 1 of this podcast is dedicated to all things Nutrition. We will be covering specific nutrients and how they affect our skin and body health.


This is the final episode of the first season of Beyond the Skin Podcast and we will be welcoming a special guest, Registered Dietitian, Maja Kujundzic. Monica and Maja met at University 4 years ago, where they both studied food and nutrition. After graduating, Maja went on to become a Registered Dietitian and is now working in clinical nutrition. Her clinical experience is in complex continuing care, rehabilitation, mental health, diabetes, pediatrics and nutritional counseling in outpatient settings (i.e., weight loss, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, healthy lifestyle).


Maja will be bringing together all of the topics discussed in the first season including Collagen, Antioxidants, Omega 3, Probiotics, and Water! Monica will be asking Maja all the questions you have about how diet and nutrition relate to these specific nutrients. Maja will also teach us how to properly consume each nutrient in order to maintain good health and glowing skin.


In this episode, Monica and Maja will be discussing everything you need to know about each of these nutrients, such as;


  • How much of each nutrient you should be consuming and how to measure it
  • Do we need to take supplements on top of our diet
  • Are all of these nutrients as important as people make them out to be
  • What foods you should be consuming for each of these nutrients
  • What a real example of a meal plan containing all of these essential nutrients looks like
  • And more!
