Mood AF 3:2 - Grief.
Hello my lovelies. Welcome back to another episode of Mood AF. Today we get into the real (notice how I didn’t say all tea, all shade & all offense - we’re getting serious today) .. and I know the conversation is a little uncomfortable - but remember: each show is a different mood, some are good, some are bad, some are funny.
But since we’re so close to the holidays, I wanted to speak on something that has been so heavy on my heart - Grief. Grief is one of the most paradoxically complex feelings ever. In this episode I get into what my grief looks like, how to show UP for your people who are experiencing grief - most importantly I touch on my time at Experience Camps this past August! I want you all to know, no matter when you lost your person or people, no matter how much time has past - I will always be here holding space for you all because I’ve been there. I LIVE here some days.

WELCOME TO SEASON 3 OF MOOD AF!

In our first episode of season 3, we get into all tea, all shade and all offense about NYC and it's current state of affairs (ie: Post flood, MTA, etc) ... I also throw shade at the social media influencer we have for mayor.. because my guy is everywhere BUT the damn office. You also find out where I've been and what I've been up to!
Most importantly: Thank you all for being so incredibly kind, supportive, patient, and most of all so loving and caring. It means so much to me that all of you were waiting so patiently for the show to come back & I did exactly what I promised: I came back. I'm here for good, so don't you worry. CHEERS TO SEASON 3!!!

Mood AF 2:9 - 'How many of us have them?'
Hey, my babes!
In this week’s episode, I’m giving you all tea, all shade & all offense about Cultivating female relationships, especially during your mid to late ’20s.
I can’t lie, ladies, we need to be more honest with ourselves and with our friends. We should be more open to hearing our friends out and holding ourselves accountable for specific behaviors. As we get older it’s imperative that we continue to foster our relationships with each other and with ourselves. We should be more honest about the things we want out of our friendships.
We should communicate more, we should aspire for more for each other, and definitely be honest when we’re not feeling great and projecting that onto our friends.
So I beg, please listen to this with knowing I want growth for each and every single one of us, and I want us all to be better.
AND I THROW SHADE AT MYSELF THIS EPISODE TOO. It would be extremely hypocritical if I didn’t.

Mood AF 2:8 - 'The Ugly Side of Healing'

Welcome back to another episode of Mood AF!
Today I want to get into All Tea, All Shade & All Offense about something that has been weighing on me for a while. The ugly side of healing and growth within self.
As some of you know, and most of you don’t, I have been active in therapy for a little over a year now, and I feel like it’s time to share my experiences, while also giving you all the ugly truth. Especially because social media tends to glorify healing & growth to be ‘flowers and daisies’ and ‘happiness’… when in all reality, it’s not that simple. It’s not that easy. It’s not always happy. It includes being lonely. It includes feeling like you’re lost. It’s about realizing and becoming aware of specific behaviors and setting boundaries which can be really tough sometimes.
Some days are a lot harder than others. It’s about realizing sometimes that you’re the toxic person, and that you let people treat you in a way that was less than desirable but knowing you want to change. Knowing that you desire peace and you’re capable of giving it to yourself. It’s about being okay with losing some of the people who you call ‘friends’, family, etc.

Hey my babes!
Welcome back to another episode of Mood AF! In this episode we get into all tea, all shade and all offense about housing in NYC.
This episode was mainly inspired by a Tik Tok that really went into depth about what an ACTUAL day in NYC looks like (P.S.: It’s not what you see on Tik Tok). Today you’ll meet Annie, the young lady behind that same video.
We discuss what our home lives are like, why it’s imperative that people quit telling native NY’ers to just ‘move’ when we complain about how expensive it is, and of course our disdain for some of these realtors.

In this episode, we gonna catch up (but of course - it’s been a minute) but in today’s episode, we loved on all Black women today. No shade, no tea (unless if you count those few minutes about other people having Black women messed up) and the only offense thrown is at those who don’t protect Black women the way they should.
As always, I wanna thank you guys for being such a dope audience and loving me no matter how long it takes for you to hear from me. This is something that hits so close to home for me. Not only am I a woman, but I'm also a BLACK woman at that. I wanted to touch on this especially because it's important for me as a woman to stand and live in my truth, and say ENOUGH IS EFUCKINGNOUGH OKAY?!

Welcome back to another episode of Mood AF. In today’s episode we’re getting into ALL tea, ALL shade and ALL offense about a very sensitive topic: Abortion.
What a lot of you actually don’t know, is that I myself had an abortion when I was 20. I was in a space where - looking back on where I was extremely naive to a lot of different things, I was in a pretty fucked up space in my life... but this was a story I needed to tell because me making this decision in turn let me be where I’m at now:
Making that decision close to 5 years ago, I felt it was imperative to put myself and my career first as opposed to just having a kid and not fully thinking about everything in the process.
NOW THIS IS NOT TO SHAME YOUNG MOMS. I give ya ALL the credit. I just know I couldn’t do it, because I wasn’t ready. I salute ALL of you that do.
