Crypto Loans Without Collateral With Blake West
On this episode of More Than Profit, Bryce talks with Blake West, cofounder of Goldfinch, a credit platform for cryptocurrency loans. As a software engineer, Blake saw great potential in cryptocurrency as all aspects of life became increasingly more digital and as people were seeking to do something with their cryptocurrency instead of letting it sit in an account. Additionally, he found that there is a demand from people around the world to access crypto loans, especially in places where the local currency is volatile. Thus, Blake’s company Goldfinch helps others access crypto loans without having the collateral upfront. He and Bryce discuss the importance of making sure digital currency is safe and the process of protecting it from hackers. Blake shares his thoughts on the future of digital currency and how it could end up as the safest place to have money. Storytelling For Change With Elizabeth MacBride
