Best number to reach Dr Tinsley 757-951-7954

What is the name of your business/ministry and what do you do?

Lighthouse Direct Primary Care  Family Medicine, quality affordable healthcare. Same/next day 30–60-minute visits, unlimited appointments without a copay. I can keep you from spending your deductible and you don’t have to have insurance to see me.

What gave you the idea for your business/ministry?

I was going to quit medicine because corporate medicine is so abusive to patients and Physicians. A Physician online showed me this model.

What is your favorite thing about your business/ministry?

Bringing health CARE to those abandoned by the system whether it’s through 12 min visits, 2 week waits, physicians not having the time to listen or think they can’t afford it. I can get them a $2,500 CT for $150.

What are your methods for keeping productive?

Word of mouth has been the best advertising.

What advice would you give to others aspiring to succeed as a business owner/minister?

Perseverance is omnipotent. You need to honestly believe what you are doing is the best thing for your customer.

Name a few influential books you've read, websites you keep up with and share a favorite quote.

I have a poem in my wallet on perseverance I’ve carried for 28 years. I’ll share it during the podcast. I like historical medical texts like to see how Physicians solved problems with the technology they had on hand. Roman, Greek, Indian (2,500 yrs old), etc.

Tell us one interesting thing about yourself/business/ministry that you would want people to know.

I like to garden and read about medicinal herbs. I worked on a 20 acre farm every weekend in Quincy Florida growing up. I was driving a tractor and cutting the pasture for hay at 13 yrs old.

Hello and welcome to Morning FUEL. I am your host John Bundy.

And you are here because you believe in the power of the spoken word and its ability to change lives. AND that by sharing our stories we can help others to overcome challenges that they cannot overcome on their own. Whether it’s a victory you need to win in business or in your own personal life you understand that the answers can be found in listening to others who are willing to share their stories knowing that their story ultimately doesn’t belong to them.

Alright, today’s guest…

A personal financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual. 3 years ago as a result a couple tragic personal events in his life involving people close to him.

Witnessing these events showed him the importance of having a solid financial plan to protect your family and loved ones.

Felling a call on his life to truly make a difference in people's lives, is what drives him and keeps him motivated.

When asked what his favorite part of his calling was, he replied, “Meeting people in any stage of their life and financial situation and helping them achieve their financial goals.”

He has been quoted saying, “The greatest compliment you can receive is, knowing your clients trust you enough to introduce you to the people closest to them. His entire business is built on personal referrals.
