Though during this interview he did forget names of several musicians and jobs he handled as a sound recordist.

But those who have worked with him do remember him fondly always. And on the occasion of his Sudeep Studio's birthday (23rd September), we are proud to share a part of the interview (first and last actually) that we were finally able to do in 2021.

Nikhil Mehta passed away peacefully on 2nd September, 2021 at his Ahmedabad residence.
