12 - Hey, remember those things called albums? ...Albums we couldn't live without
Way back when...music listeners would actually buy these things called albums. Believe it or not, you would sit down and listen to the entire thing. Wild, right? What happened to the album? We live in an age of the single, where the order of songs, the story that's meant to be told, and even the symbolic meaning of some of the cover art actually had value. Fear not rhythm section, Steve and Mike are going to take you through some of their favorites. If you're ever looking for a great album, these are great places to start... at least we think so.

Fine wine...or milk sitting out on a hot sunny day....where do your favorite bands fall? Do they get better with time or are they becoming harder and harder to stomach? In defense of...Neil Diamond
--- yup, you read that right, ...Neil Diamond In defense of.... a new kind of episode. A 20 or so minute discussion about a musician / band who 'might' be misrepresented and/or misunderstood by most. In some cases there's a good reason - in others, maybe not. In our premier of this new installment, Steve tries to convince Mike that Neil Diamond is no joke. Mike is a huge fan of the movie Saving Silverman so...Steve's got his work cut out for him. Give it a listen and let us know what you think. Are you convinced? Be on the lookout for other "In defense of..." episodes from time to time. Have an artist who fits the mold? Send 'em our way and we'll take a look! Also....Steve wanted to add that he forgot to mention that Mr. Diamond was also responsible for the brilliance that is, "Girl, You'll be a Woman Soon." A song, like many others, initially written by Neil Diamond and covered by countless musicians- some of which may surprise you. Listen in for the rest.
