Muslims in the News

Muslims in the News

This week our Co-Hosts talk about 2 major events that affected our Muslim Community this past month.

The first event involved a spy within a Muslim organization. This story broke in December 2021. We know that as Muslims we will be tested and that these tests will come in various forms. Translation: enemies and opps are not only coming from the outside, sometimes they come from those within the community. So, where do we go from here?

The second event was a fire on January 9th in an apartment building in Bronx, New York. The fire took the lives of 17 people and left dozens more injured; among them were our Muslim brothers and sisters. We ask Allah to forgive their shortcomings, widen their graves, and grant them Jannat-ul-Firdaus. Amin. Please make dua for this community and support them however you can.

Take a listen to this episode, and let us know what you think.
