In the summer of 2013, I had an experience that would forever change my perspective on life. On that day, out of nowhere, I was hit with the most intense and overwhelming feeling I had ever felt. A paralyzing feeling that shook me to my core. I spent the next few years of my life in deep introspection, re-learning and reviewing many of my life lessons and experiences. Throughout this process I ended up with hundreds of journal entries about topics such as relationships, communication, career, personal values, life purpose, and others. This podcast was created in order to share those insights
Today I discuss a few journal entries that cover topics such as how boundaries go both ways. Values are to be used in the good AND the bad times. Taking action and how to avoid getting stuck in wanting to prove a point. Staying away from hate, envy and jealousy. Finally, and believe it or not, I talk about lowering your bar for success in order to succeed. Take a listen.
In this episode I use interview questions I found on the website https://designyourthinking.com (Thank you) and used them on myself. I answer a few questions form the list and then move on into speaking about people's sometimes well-intentioned advice falling flat on it's face. I provide some ideas on how to deal with what seems like an attempt at support but ends up being more of an impossible obstacle to climb. Be you! Be the best version of you!!!!!
Today I spoke about a scene from the movie "The Gambler" with Mark Wahlberg. There is a scene where he asks a student a question that stuck with me for a long time, I elaborated on the question to tie it into living an enriched life.
Here is the clip for your entertainment https://youtu.be/CDVD3YTRAV8
I continued to discuss ideas from my journaling dealing with relationship and expectations/support as well as a situation I ran into with my intuition and an idea about how to fill that gap or need in your life.
I hope you enjoy, feel free to contact me should you have any questions
Today I have a discussion with an old friend of mine from my earlier years as a therapist. We discuss a few topics but mostly we discuss toxic environments since we have both had our share :). I hope you enjoy the conversation and that it sheds some light on some of the issues we run into in our professional and sometimes personal lives. Hope you enjoy.
This is the first podcast for 2021, I hope you are all ready and pumped for improving your lives this year. Today I speak about other lists I created and you can create in order to continue to collect data in order from which to build an enriched life. (I hope I wrote that the right way).
Lists: Undeniable truths about your life, Lessons learned from others, and things that people have explicitly mentioned to you about you.
Getting warmed up for some good things to come. Follow, share and engage on social media, sign up to my new member site (free), and either tell people about the enriched life movement or buy products to spread the word.
Here's to a great 2021
What are the elements needed daily in order for you to feel like it was a successful or fulfilled day? This list may not be made up of what you might think initially. Take the time out to create this list and put effort daily into making sure these items are included.
Shared a clip from the Thursday discussion groups where I answer someone asking me to elaborate on "my experience".
Shared three to make you think, one of them fits right in to the podcast topic.
Had a bit too much coffee this morning so I ran through this episode quickly, Feel free to contact me if you should have any questions. Read 3 of my personal posts and elaborated. Let me know what you think and as always...
