Turn Up the Heat! Endeavor Goes Beyond Plus Ultra! - S4 E25 'My Hero Academia' Review & Recap W/ Zeno Robinson

This week on the My Hero Academia After Show, our hosts are joined by special guest, Zeno Robinson (voice of Hawks.)

The meeting between Endeavor and Hawks is cut short when a nomu comes to fight. The nomu is different than the previous ones because of its regenerative powers. While Hawks is working to get everyone to safety, Endeavor is fighting the nomu with all his might, while the world, including his family, look on in fear. Endeavor has been a hero whose drive was determined by being number one, but now, he has other motivations that fuel his flame. Thanks to the push by Hawks, Endeavor was able to go beyond, and defeat the nomu, but what is waiting beyond the horizon for our heroes? That's to be continued in season 5!

Rank 'em! Pro Hero Hawks Enters the Game! - S4 E24 'My Hero Academia' Review & Recap w/ Zeno Robinson

This week on the My Hero Academia After Show, our hosts are joined by special guest, Zeno Robinson (voice of Hawks.)

Time has passed and things have seemingly returned to normal since the U.A. school festival. Eri comes to stay at U.A. High School and The Wild Wild Pussycats re-emerge after some time away. It's the day of the Japanese Hero Billboard Chart and society is introduced to its new top 10 heroes. Hawks makes his character debut at #2 and Endeavor takes his spot as the official #1 hero. An unlikely partnership looks to be blossoming between Hawks and Endeavor as the two discuss the rumors of Nomu's reappearing when suddenly, a Nomu bursts through a window sending our heroes into fight mode.

Hero too! Class 1-A's performance goes beyond plus ultra! - S4 E23 'My Hero Academia' Review & Recap

Gentle Criminal and La Brava's plan to infiltrate U.A. fails, but the tea-loving villain will do anything to protect his biggest fan. Midoriya sympathizes with Gentle, knowing that very well could've been his path too. It's finally showtime and in the words of Bokugo, class 1-A 'kills them with their sound!' We also receive a powerful message of what it means to be a hero. Eri finally gets to live a fun and happy life, and her smile is just as bright as class 1-A's light show. Nejire wins the beauty pageant and Eri enjoys her first candy apple.

It’s a race to U.A! Gentle criminal vs. Deku! - S4 E21

It’s the night before the school festival and class 1-A is putting together the final touches on their performance. Deku rushes out the next morning to get a new rope, and encounters our quirky villains Gentle Criminal and La Brava. The two don’t mean any harm, but Deku won’t allow them to set off the alarm and ruin all the hard work everyone put into the festival, or ruin the chance for Eri to experience fun and happiness. Gentle Criminal’s quirk is revealedl. Deku is able to use his new quirk modifying gear, doing everything in his power to stop Gentle from damaging the day!

It’s also International Women’s Day and our hosts Kari Lane and Veronica Valencia highlight some of our favorite female mangakas!

Class 1-A is hard at work preparing for the school festival, and Eri gets a special preview before anyone else! Meanwhile, all the other classes are gearing up for the most important event of the year. Midoriya is training hard with All Might to better control his quirk, and we learn exactly why All Might was the #1 pro hero. Gentle Criminal begins plotting his scheme to break into UA over a cup of tea, the history behind the odd pair of Gentle Criminal and La Brava is revealed. These two may just be sneakier than we all thought!

Class 1-A”s concert is shaping up to be one ‘killer’ show! - S4 E19

What unconventional villains, Gentle Criminal and La Brava are trying to make their dream of going viral a reality. Class 1-A is beginning to plan for the school festival but the general studies students are not as thrilled they hoped. The class comes together to make sure the performance is as great as it can possibly be. We got a band, special effects, a dance, and Jiro’s stunning voice! All Might gets back in mentor mode and helps young MIdoriya better understand his quirk and Eri finally gets the chance to live an ordinary life!

It’s time for the school festival and our young heroes all have fun ideas on what to do. Surprisingly, Todoroki helps push them towards doing a concert - though he didn’t quite know the word. Ha! Jiro is shy about her musical talents and for some reason does not think her hobby benefits her quirk. Mirio and Deku visit Eri and the poor girl does not know how to smile. They shield her from the truth about Sir Nighteye and try their best to cheer her up. Deku gets the idea that she should come to the festival! Gentle and La Brava show up on the seen as villains that are not really out for destruction but rather they are looking for fame.

How to Handle Unruly Children - S4 E17

Bakugo and Todoroki figure out how to handle the hyper kids with Inasa and Camie. We finally see Camie’s cool glamour quirk and how we can use it on herself and the environment around her. It was not about beating the kids with their quirks but rather showing them how they could use their quirks for more constructive and fun ways. Endeavor makes some small steps to becoming a better person and tries to start to improve his relationship with Shoto. Classes are back to normal and school life seems to be going well, but how long will that last?

"Bright Future" Season 4 Episodes 14 'My Hero Academia' Review & Recap

Deku along with the help of Eri continue their defeat of the villainous Overhaul. Even though Eri isn't in full control of her powers, Aizawa helps subdue Eri in the hope of saving Deku in the process. Shockingly, the League of Villains reunite with Overhaul by not killing him, but taking his quirk away, rendering him useless. Unfortunately, Deku, All Might, and Mirio all learn the sad truth that Sir Nighteye is unable to live on, yet he is able to die peacefully with a new outlook on life.

The fight between Overhaul and Deku is INTENSE and this episode shows how evil Overhaul can be. Overhaul's true delusional plan of reversing quirks away from society is finally revealed. Then Gravity Girl, Froppy and Dragon Lady do their best to assist the other heroes and we learn that Toga and Twice truly are going Plus Chaos by their actions.
