EP 095 | From Surviving to Thriving with Emily Jenkins
Emily Jenkins, BSN, RN, RYT 200 is a registered nurse specializing in neurosciences with a focus on Eastern medicine, meditation techniques, non-ordinary states of consciousness, plant medicine integration, and microdosing. She is the founder of Bright Ages, an entheogenic coaching practice focused on serving millennials who are feeling depressed, anxious, lonely, or “unhappy without reason.” She combines integrative and holistic medicine in her offerings.
In college, after suffering the sudden loss of her father at the age of 18, she fell into a deep depression. Only a few years later, she lost her dear cousin to an overdose. Her anxiety and depression continued to worsen - over a ten year period she struggled with debilitating mental illness, self harm, addiction, and suicidal ideation.
She worked with many different providers and practitioners over the years but nothing stuck - therapy, medication, sobriety, and everything in between. As she was approaching the end of her rope she felt the call to work with Ayahuasca. Since that experience, her life has undergone a complete transformation.
Accompanied by the grace and support of a loving community, she has been able to transition from surviving to thriving. Her purpose is to share this experience with anyone who is ready and willing. Healing is possible.
She is actively involved with organizations such as the Isha Foundation, Truth is One, and devotion to Her Holiness Amma Sri Karunamayi. Her wish is for each person to find all the vitality, freedom, and joy life has to offer.
EP 094 | Obligation and The Sword of Discernment
On this week's episode of The Psychedelic Integration Podcast, we're continuing the journey of letting go with a deep dive into obligation and the sword of discernment.
Wielding this sword is not small undertaking. Its purpose and usefulness are often made clear by unraveling the intricate layers of obligation and people pleasing that you encounter on the healing path with psychedelics. It's purpose is getting EVERYTHING THAT IS OUT OF ALIGNMENT OUT OF THE WAY...So that you can sing your gorgeous heart song of you-ness and the juicy people who are all about it can find you. All you have to do is put out the vibe.
Plant medicine strips away the masks of obligation, compelling you to confront your true self, tend to your unmet needs, and make some serious admissions... That maybe you don't actually like this party or these people and it's time to bounce. It's okay not to conform to the way you think you're supposed to do things. Do what you want, with who you want, exactly how you want instead. Learn to use your sword of discernment to slash obligations and forge a clear and juicy path forward that actually feels good.
No more being afraid of saying no. Boundaries are acts of love and kindness, empowering you to create spaces where authentic connections thrive. The medicine is always showing you how to recalibrate inward and trust you own navigation system. Your only job is to allow everything that's not in alignment with your heart to fall away. This is how you do it.
EP 093 | The Heroic Act of Letting Go
Are you one of those "over my cold, dead body" kind of people? Do you keep hang around things and people that don't serve you like milk in your fridge that went out of date with the Clinton administration? Do you find yourself languishing in relationships or situations long past their best? Are you kind of sad when things have to end and therefore grasp onto them so tight that maybe it just doesn't have to be true?
On this week's episode of The Psychedelic Integration Podcast, we're going on a journey of self-discovery centered around the heroic act of letting go. Learn about why you hold on—the fear of the unknown, uncertainty, pain, and transition and how these fears often manifest as clinging to the familiar. Sometimes so tightly that it's hindering your growth and preventing you from fully embracing life's unfolding mysteries.
Holding on is protective in nature and it's important to approach our clinging with empathy for the ways we seek security when everything falls apart. It's okay to acknowledge your holding patterns and explore the narratives that have shaped your relationships, both with others and with yourself.
Today we'll lean into the profound wisdom that lies in releasing your grip on attachment, inviting you to let go with grace and hold on lightly. When you begin to allow, you can start trusting in the flow of life's unfolding journey. Refresh yourself around how radical acceptance in the present moment encourages you to embrace all of your feelings, allowing them to move through you with compassion and understanding.
Let's co-create a space of deep introspection and self-reflection. Claim the beauty in owning your truth and finding trust and authenticity, no matter what changes come. It's time to clean your fucking house an clear away the clutter of outdated beliefs so that you can step into a newfound sense of sovereignty, capacity, and joy.
EP 092 | Confronting Imposter Syndrome and Self-Doubt
Do you feel like a fraud? Are you unable to celebrate your success and accomplishments in earnest because deep down you're terrified that everyone is going to find out you're some kind of imposter? Do you often feel crippled by self-doubt, even though you have achieved amazing things, people love you, and you're actually awesome? Today on this episode of the Psychedelic Integration Podcast, we're confronting imposter syndrome, self-doubt, and the relentless energy suck of not being good enough.
Life is hard enough without having every step feel clouded by the fear of being seen and judged. Self-doubt can sneakily stand between you and everything you want. Yes, even for people who seem to have it all sorted out. Learn how this fear of failure keeps you stuck, and explore how old wounds from the past can manifest as people-pleasing, perfectionism, and procrastination.
Even if you're just starting to understand the ways imposter syndrome plays out in your life, you're in the right place. With the help of plant medicine, you can discover how to pinpoint where you need to focus your attention and initiate some serious rewiring. Psychedelics have the power to change everything—if you're ready for it.
So, join me as we peel back the layers of why we're so hard on ourselves, and learn practical strategies for breaking free from approval-seeking and outward orientation. Together, we'll uncover how to create fundamental belief in yourself, cultivate self-trust, and reconnect with your inner spirit. Get ready to shift the energy of imposter syndrome and self-doubt, and become your own biggest fan.

EP 091 | Are You Ready for Plant Medicine?
In this episode of The Psychedelic Integration Podcast, we dive into the essence of preparation for plant medicine journeys. Are you ready for plant medicine? How do you know? What does it mean to establish readiness? And when do you know?
We'll explore the transformative potential of psychedelics, and get clarity on the importance of being truly ready for the experience. Ceremony and intention are gifts that we have long been disconnected from in our modern life. It's time to start questioning hustle culture, urgency, overwhelm, and how that interferes with walking a deliberate path of presence and consciousness. If we are distracted and attached to specific outcomes, it makes it nearly impossible to actually receive the teachings of the ancient consciousness of plants.
Learn about the role of sacred reciprocity and humility in approaching medicine work. To do this work in a way that is beneficial there is a necessity of managing expectations, cultivating patience, and embracing the journey as it unfolds. Trusting the process and letting go of attachment to outcomes emerge as central themes, alongside the importance of self-care and introspection.
Join me as we navigate the sometimes unfamiliar terrain of measuring your readiness, recognizing it as a pivotal factor in ensuring meaningful and transformative psychedelic experiences.
EP 090 | Sound, Patience, and Womanhood with Christiana Schelfout
Christiana Schelfout is a healing artist raised between Portugal and New York by an Irish American mother and a German father. She lived firstly in the wild, windswept Algarve, and then in the lush Long Island suburbs. Communion with nature and self-expression through song, dance, art, and theater were her basis for self-regulation and expansion.
At 20, a call for healing brought her to the study and practice of classical yoga and tantra. In traveling to the origins of global spiritual traditions and connecting with her ancestry, she was awakened to the world of spiritual herbalism and ceremony. These traditions led her down a path of inquiry into the healing potential of the descension process, devotion to the body, earth and mother. This was supported by studying matriarchal histories, women’s health and birth.
Today, through the support of her community, she shares the experience of soul directed living, healing and wellbeing. Christiana carries the embodied experience of recovering from mental and physical illness. In 2018, after five years of community based offerings, she spent four years creating and then leading the yoga and retreat programs at Shou Sugi Ban House, a multidimensional wellness center in New York. Over a decade of student-ship and work experience in holistic healing and curation support the vision of Animate Healing.
On this week's show, Christiana and I meander through the nuances of presence found through sound healing, cultivating patience, and exploring the mystery of womanhood, moon blood, how bone broth is Nature's nourishing elixir, and more. Christiana is such a gift to my life and I'm so grateful to share her heart wisdom with you.

EP 089 | Healing the Abandonment Wound
Daddy issues anyone?
This week I'm peeling back the layers of the heart scars that stick with us from moments of feeling abandoned, neglected, or flat-out rejected.
From the emotional gut punches to the mind games, we'll dive into why this core wound creates such a long lasting echo, often becoming one of the most defining aspects of our entire lives.
I share some examples from my own abandonment drama with my brilliant and troubled father, showing how those early episodes shape our beliefs and behaviors well into adulthood.
Learn how these abandonment wounds sneak their way into every part of our behavior and personality, turning some of us into people-pleasing perfectionists on a quest for that elusive gold star of external validation.
Oh, and did I mention the joyride of unworthiness and never feeling quite good enough? Yeah, we're shining a light on that too, seeing how it seeps into our relationships and attachment styles, keeping that abandonment hamster wheel spinning.
But not to fear, there's hope in the form of the healing salve of radical self-acceptance. Taking a hard look in the mirror, and doling out forgiveness like Halloween candy. By the end of this show, you'll be ready to tackle your abandonment demons head-on, transforming not just your own life but also spreading that love and healing to everyone around you.
EP 088 | Going Beyond Therapy with Sarah Seraphina
Sarah Seraphina of Nurtured Essence is a Spiritual Activator and Plant Medicine Integration guide. She was previously a licensed Trauma Therapist before deciding to leave that world to pursue a more soul-aligned path. Sarah grew up experiencing significant childhood trauma, and knows firsthand how challenging and empowering the path of healing can be. She has walked through many flames of transformation and passionately guides other women on their journey to reclaim their true nature and blossom.
Going beyond therapy, her work is holistic and rooted in nature, spiritual teachings, and psychology. She believes the healing journey is meant to connect you more deeply to yourself, your relationships, your community, and Mother Earth. Incorporating nature into her practice, Sarah combines different Earth elements with self-exploration, expression, and rituals. Sarah invites women to remember your true power and essence, and return to living in harmony with yourself. She helps you see your value and magic, and embody your authentic energy. If you're ready to leave the Damsel in Distress behind and step fully into your sovereignty as the Queen of your own life, this episode is for you.
EP 087 | Fuck Around and Find Out
In today's episode of The Psychedelic Integration Podcast, I'm diving headfirst into the concept of "Fuck Around and Find Out" (FAFO). I'll explore what it truly means to embrace this mantra, giving yourself permission to honor your impulses and being willing to fail in the pursuit of authenticity and following your heart mission.
Today I'm sharing my own journey with FAFO moments, including the decision to change the name of this show, only to ultimately decide to return to its original title after trying it on a while. I'll discuss the importance of being outcome independent and allowing yourself the flexibility to do things that scare you, and share how to give way less fucks as you navigate the twists and turns of your own spiritual path.
Open to the liberating notion that no matter what happens, you're going to be okay. That you can embrace uncertainty, stretch your boundaries, and acknowledge the privilege that comes with the ability to FAFO. I'll also offer insights on finding the delicate balance between embracing softness and taking calculated risks, as well as sharing practical tips on how to stop being a tire kicker and start living with intention. So, what are you waiting for? Do the thing already!
EP 086 | Dance Magic Dance: Healing Through Movement
This week we're dancing our faces off in an exploration of the transformative power healing through movement. In this episode, we get deep into the intrinsic connection between movement and the human experience. From the joyous rhythm of childhood play to the profound expression of emotion through dance, movement is an essential aspect of our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
As we navigate the complexities of modern society, we often find ourselves disconnected from the natural flow of movement. Our sedentary lifestyles and hectic schedules can strip away the joy and vitality that movement once brought us, turning it into a punishing chore rather than a source of pleasure. Today you'll learn how to explore gentle starting points like yoga and walking, helping you rediscover the joy of movement in your everyday life.
We'll also dabble in the fascinating science behind movement and its profound impact on brain health and neuroplasticity. From the Gen X rave culture of nostalgia and safety seeking to the cathartic release of ecstatic dance in community, we'll dive into the emotional and spiritual dimensions of movement. Get ready to dance like no one is watching, open your heart to the rhythm of change, and move your way to deeper healing, creativity, and connection.
EP 085 | Magic Mushrooms: Medicine for the People
This week on The Psychedelic Integration Podcast, we delve into the fascinating realm of magic mushrooms and their profound healing and therapeutic benefits. Join me as we explore how psilocybin mushrooms are breaking into mainstream consciousness, infiltrating Western medicine, and bridging ancient wisdom with modern healing practices.
Learn about the poignant tale of María Sabina, the revered Mazatec healer known as the Grandmother of mushroom healing, whose story highlights the intersection of tradition, tragedy, and transformation. As we navigate the dire need for the alchemy of medicine in our contemporary society, we’ll also pause to acknowledge the immense privilege of accessing psychedelic medicines, while honoring the wisdom of the Wixarika people of Mexico and their Marakame healers.
Uncover the real-life magic of mycelium, the ancient web of knowledge and connection, and explore how mushrooms operate in nature as they do within our bodies, reminding us of our inherent interconnectedness and the importance of cultivating gratitude for the teachings they offer. From dosage considerations to the profound benefits of diverse experiences, we’ll also discuss why preparation and integration are vital components in fostering lasting growth and personal transformation.
EP 084 | The Sacred Witness
This week we're exploring the concept of The Sacred Witness. The Observer. The nonjudgmental higher self that lives deep in the center of each of us. It's the presence in us, the calm, wise, sage part of us who's just watching all this. Abraham Hicks calls it your Inner Being. You might hear it called your Highest Self. It's the sacred, holy, all-knowing, almighty, All-That-Is part of you. The part that can see everything, that knows everything, and that is free from attachment, worry, or blame.
The sacred witness is like having your own mentor observing all that unfolds within and around you. Nudging you to detach from ego and identify with your higher consciousness.
In this episode, you'll learn about all the ways the sacred witness guides us through life's twists and turns. It's about being present, accepting, and lovingly observing yourself without judgment. Through this practice, we navigate the murky waters of change, integrating old patterns with newfound wisdom. So, if you're seeking spiritual growth, hop on board the sacred witness train—it's a gentle, yet profound journey toward wholeness and authenticity.
EP 083 | The Truth About Overcoming Addiction
Addiction is a monster. It steals your money. Your time. Your dignity. Your health. Your love. Your presence. It is a false friend that leaves you in a perpetual state of disconnection, suffering, and despair. I believe addiction is one of the most difficult challenges to heal in the human experience. It ravages everything in its wake, and our current model of support isn't working. So many people are finding their way to plant medicine and psychedelics in desperation to be liberated from the pain of addiction.
In this episode, I'm sharing vulnerable scenes from my personal journey of soul liberation from a life of addiction and self-destruction to finding healing, self-love, and purpose. The truth about overcoming addiction is that it's only the first step in repairing your relationship to Spirit and with yourself.
You are the only one who can decide you've had enough. But what if it was also your teacher? Your healer? Addiction is healable. It is overcomeable. It's your own personal portal into a deep spiritual transformation that will show you your purpose and give your life new meaning. Come with me on a journey of hope and healing as we walk through the valley of the shadow with addiction and find our way back to the light.
Need support on your journey out of the dark? I'm here to help.

EP 079 | How to Transform Anxiety
Today's episode is all about understanding anxiety and learning exactly what steps to take to take back control of your experience. How to transform anxiety is first allowing it to be there. To understand that the resistance and the avoidance and the fighting it is not the solution. Learn about flight, freeze, fawn, and fight responses, and the relationship between chronic pain, fear, chronic illness, and anxiety. According to Dr. Gabor Maté, repressing your authenticity is one of the highest indicators of whether or not you will have chronic illness.
Can you lay down your sword? Can you invite the anxiety in to stay a while? Can you meet it with non-judgment and acceptance? Can you open to have a different relationship with the anxiety that is more indifferent? More zen and chill? Let's dig into how to do this in this episode.
Also, listen to the end to hear the juicy news bomb about the future of this podcast and what's coming next.

EP 078 | Ayni: Sacred Reciprocity
I learned about the beautiful and simple principle of Ayni: sacred reciprocity while I lived in Ecuador. Ayni is a Quechua word and concept that is the backbone of the worldview in their ancestral culture. The Quechua people are the descendants of the Inca people who are native to Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina. In the teaching of ayni, they live in a commitment of mutualism that is beneficial to all the beings and the Earth itself. You can always feel safe to give because that energy will always be returned to you. This is much different than the transactional way we live in modern society.
In this episode, I explore the concept of sacred reciprocity, how it is our duty and gift of giving back to do integration work, and how this principle can reach into every area of your life.

EP 077 | The Holidays, Overdoing it, and Not Enoughness
What do the holidays, overdoing it, and not enoughness have in common? An undercurrent of needing to be perfect, do it right, impress your friends and family, and make things nice. Because that's how you've always done it. But when you start following a spiritual path and questioning the origins of these customs and traditions we follow, you might be like me and start wondering, "Why am I trying so fucking hard?" In this episode I share about a big fat epiphany I had yesterday after eating too much Thanksgiving food, and I explore the details of what it looks like to do spiritual healing on yourself in real time. We are not doomed to keep repeating our mistakes. We have the power to change the things we want to change, and to investigate these protective coping mechanisms and find something softer and more beneficial. Let's let go of striving and efforting and not enoughness this holiday season and let it be easy.

EP 075 | Hope for Dark Times
Unless you've been living under a rock, you might have noticed that there is a lot of heavy and hard shit going on in the world at the moment. When the foundation of the system begins to crack and fail, it can cause anxiety and panic. The thing is, in order for the new way of life to take root, the old one has to crumble away. Dying empires don't typically make their final exit without a lot of brutal struggle. This process can be long and slow, and often big avalanches of change come fast and hard. It may feel like everything is a dumpster fire and there's nothing you can do about it. You may feel lost or afraid or even paralyzed, afraid to move or speak out. In this episode, I'm offering hope for dark times. A heartfelt acknowledgement of the pain and suffering that's occurring in Gaza, and a simple path to finding that ray of light in your own heart so that you can keep going. Put your mask on first, so that you can be a lightbearer in a dark world.
EP 074 | Returning to Medicines of the Earth with Stacey Constante, RN
Stacey M. Constante is Ecuadorian, first generation born in the U.S. She is a women’s holistic hormone practitioner, nutritionist, herbalist, registered nurse, and mother. She has been following the medicine path through the Americas for the last six years. Along the way she has been slowly merging the teachings of allopathic and ancestral medicine.
Stacey began her career as an ER nurse. While working at different hospitals, she noticed the gaps in modern medicine. As she grew her relationship with plant medicine, she could no longer look away from the broken system we have been led to believe in. She felt she was sending patients through a revolving door with more questions than when they arrived. She began to question why nutrition, herbs, mental health, and other ancient healing modalities were not being spoken of. It was medication after medication, a quick fix, but never mentioning lifestyle changes or getting to the root of the problem.
Having suffered with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and substance abuse, Stacey also developed late-stage endometriosis at age 25. She was told she may not be able to have children and that this was a chronic condition she simply had to live with. She turned towards acupuncture, nutrition, and herbs. She sat with sacred plant medicines in ceremony settings from North America to South America. Since then, she has spent her time learning about medicinal herbs and plant knowledge from many indigenous keepers and from the plants themselves.
The frustration she felt immersed in allopathic medicine inspired her to walk a different path. She believes one of the most empowering moments is when we discover we have the ability to heal ourselves. We just need to provide our being the necessary tools it needs to do so.

EP 073 | Saying No to Competition and Comparison
Does it feel like EVERYTHING is a contest? The vibe of scarcity, not enoughness, and needing to win at all costs is pervasive in our culture. But where did it come from? Why is everything a competition? It actually doesn't have to be this way. Saying NO to competition and comparison is a deep deprogramming that you can start doing right now in your own life. In order to have a better world, we have to believe that it's possible. Many people on the spiritual path are waking up to the understanding that not only does competition not resonate, it's harmful and feels shitty and we don't need it.
Psychedelics are here to show us the path to a new understanding. In this episode, learn how competition and comparison run in the background of our society and why it's each of our responsibility to invite the vibration of collaboration, co-creation, and belonging into our lives instead.

EP 072 | Nurturing the Divine Feminine with Rea Beaubien, Medicine Woman
Rea Beaubien is a medicine woman, ceremonialist, healer, and artist. For more than 20 years she has been a mother, spiritual seeker, and facilitator of ancient rituals in the mountains of Crestone, Colorado. She shares sacred awareness teachings locally and globally, inspiring others to transform. This work brings forth positive and lasting changes contributing to a brighter world. Rea’s mission is rekindling our connection to and nurturing the Divine Feminine as was spoken of in prophecies. She believes that in this shared renaissance we are coaxed to return to who we really are. To play, listen, express, believe, get dirty, surrender – and most of all – to feel. As a result of visions and teachings received under lineages of North America, Rea created Heart of Ma, a global community providing sacred plant medicine retreats for more that 20 years. Heart of Ma offers the opportunity to safely transform, ground, and heal.
In this episode, Rea boldly shares about the toll the medicine path can take on the health and wellness of facilitators and space holders, her difficult decision to slow down and take a break, and her thoughts about the fast-paced, often reckless psychedelic revolution that is happening now.

EP 071 | Finding Home Within Yourself
When did you start to lose yourself? To forget your native language of intuition? To misunderstand the signals of your body and start looking outside for answers? This episode is about finding home within yourself, remembering your native tongue, learning to trust yourself again, and how plant medicine and psychedelic integration are your best allies on this spiritual warrior path.
"Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can." This is one of my favorite quotes by Arthur Ashe, the great African-American tennis player turned AIDS activist who was the first Black man to win Wimbledon, the U.S. Open and the Australian Open. In this episode, I'm sharing about how the simple steps in this inspiring life mantra can guide you on your psychedelic path to wholeness, holistic healing, and finding home within yourself.
EP 070 | Plant Dietas and The Iboga Experience with Leo van Veenendaal
Leo van Veenendaal is an Australian environmental engineer, adventurer, author, and apprentice of plant medicines. Early in his adult life he suffered from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and treatment resistant depression. At a point of desperation, he began working with indigenous plant medicines in 2016 to heal IBS, his gut, and his brain. It worked. In 2018 Leo was initiated into Fang Dissumba Bwiti at Ebando in Gabon where he took part in an iboga ceremony. He has continued working with and learning about plant medicines since, moving to South America in 2020 to continue his studies. Leo is passionate about helping ensure plant medicine's thriving, longevity, respectful use and conservation. His first book "The Iboga Experience" was released in February 2023. His second book "Mind Engineering" will be released in late 2024.
When I think of Leo, I think of a big hearted dude who loves learning from and conventing with plants in the jungle. I think of deep conversation with a thoughtful and open hearted man. And of a spirit brother who has a magical connection with sacred tobacco and mapacho. Leo is a humble soul traveler who has dedicated his life to learning about the power of plants in a respectful way. In this episode, he shares about how he came to meet plant medicines, his plant companions in the jungle, and offers solid guidance about iboga, one of the most powerful psychoactive plants in the world.

EP 069 | How to Get Unstuck
Stuck. Paralyzed. Trapped. Overwhelmed. Confused. Lost. This is the crisis state that I meet people in when they are seeking support for their integration path. Getting stuck is a common and necessary part of the spiritual path. Without the contrast of things not moving or working out how you like, you would never know how to truly be in flow and balance. No mud, no lotus. In this episode, find out how you get stuck, learn how to investigate what's holding you hostage, and discover the spiritual warrior path to get things moving again. Learn how to get unstuck by walking into the resistance. Facing the music. Surrendering your attachment to the outcome. And being willing to fuck around and find out.
EP 068 | Soul Centered Liberation with Justin "Cos" Moore
Justin “Cos” Moore is a native Appalachian, psychedelic nerd, father, partner, and more. He is of mixed heritage including Irish, Scottish, and Yuchi. Cos is a former high school athlete. He is an initiate of Q’ero and Paqo lineages of modern day Peru. He has worked as a youth wilderness mentor, yoga teacher, music producer & vocalist. He is currently in grad school for marriage and family therapy and is forming his own practice. He co-founded the Appalachian Association for the study of Psychedelic Experiences (AAPEX) which is set to host its first event called Psychedelic South Conference in 2024.
In this episode, Justin shares about his own personal soul centered liberation journey with plant medicine. He shares about healing his relationship with his father and embracing the masculine, discovering Pachakuti Mesa Peruvian shamanism, finding deep sexual healing through tantra, and following his own path of growth and expansion to become a healer and psychedelic leader in his native home of Appalachia.
EP 067 | Conscious Uncoupling
I used to think that “conscious uncoupling” was a lame term made up by rich people with enough lawyers to handle their messy breakup. Now, my almost 5 year relationship with someone I love very much is ending. I am conscious. I am present. My heart is broken. And it is messy and hard, but not mean, spiteful, or ugly.
This time I get to choose to be loving instead of angry. I get to choose to be wise hearted instead of blaming and judging. I can choose to see that I am not being abandoned. That this is me choosing myself and you choosing yourself and that is beautiful. That we get to love each other forever because that’s what real love looks like. Allowing someone to be held and free at once.
Relationships don’t become failures because they don’t last forever. I am so grateful to have spent these last years loving and being loved by my person. I am so proud of him and how he moves in the world. I am praying for his path, that he finds peace, happiness, and does whatever it takes to share his medicine with the world. I am so grateful for it all. Thank you for being my most favorite teacher and sacred mirror and lover and best friend. And it hurts. And it’s hard. And I’m not able to show up in my work pretending I am above it all. I am here. In grief. In love. Walking through the portal of death into a new beginning.
EP 066 | Naturopathic Mind-body Medicine with Dr. Sarah Campbell, MedicineMami
Dr. Sarah Campbell specializes in using naturopathic mind-body medicine to heal autoimmune and chronic illnesses. You may know her as MedicineMami on Instagram, where she has gained a devoted following due to her insightful, resonant, and spiritually focused healing content.
Sarah has devoted her entire existence to learning about all of the different expressions and modalities of medicine. After completing her Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition, she went on to pursue a Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture and a Doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine.
She is a primary care physician in the state of Washington with special interests and external training in mind-body medicine, holistic psychology, women's health, rheumatology, gastroenterology and helping people to understand the deeper inner communications between body and Spirit.
In today's episode, Sarah and I discuss root cause healing, the timeless wisdom of getting back to basics, how Spirit is the ultimate guide we all need, and more.
EP 065 | The Cure for Perpetual Dissatisfaction
Do you feel like no matter what you do or what practices you implement or how hard you try, you never REALLY feel satisfied? Does it always feel like there is some problem to fix or dragon to slay? Have you ever considered that you might be oriented toward suffering because that's what feels safe? What if you could learn the cure for perpetual dissatisfaction and finally give yourself permission to thrive and be free?
Welcome to the party, friends. The thing is, modern society is designed to make it impossible for you to feel good.
You are constantly being bombarded with messages of lack, planting a forest of confusion inside your mind that tells you no matter what you do, what you have, or how much you accomplish... it's just not THE THING THAT WILL FINALLY MAKE YOU HAPPY.
You can check all the "supposed to" boxes and still feel like nothing is ever actually okay. (Because the programmed path isn't cutting the mustard for people who are waking up. We know materialism, hustling, and looking outside ourselves for meaning is a soulless pursuit that leads to catastrophic emptiness.)
In this episode, I'm digging into this ultra-common and ever prevalent feeling of impending doom that has so many highly sensitive and gifted spiritual people feeling hopeless and ready to give up. And I'll share what you can do instead of hiding your beautiful weirdness so no one can make you feel bad about being you.
EP 064 | Overcoming Religious Trauma with Erin Doumert, Psychedelic Integration Specialist

As someone who has experienced religious trauma firsthand, she understands just how painful and complex the healing process can be. For many people who have experienced religious trauma, the journey towards healing can be a long and challenging one. But with the right tools and support, it is possible to move past the hurt and begin to rebuild a sense of trust and connection with yourself and with others. EP 063 | How to Trust Fall Into the Arms of The Universe
I don't know about y'all, but I'm bored with the whole struggle, suffer, cowering in fear, stagnation thing. The thing is, we aren't meant to stay stuck in our patterns and past forever. We have the power to choose something much more radical and beneficial. So how do you trust fall into the arms of the Universe? What if the answer to the problem is inside the problem, rather than in resisting it or seeking to solve it? Today I am sharing more about the restorative integration path, and how you can choose to lean into your biggest challenges. We're going to meander through thought patterns, values systems, and beliefs and start asking, "How can I trust the Universe here? How can I let go? How can I be still and listen?"

EP 062 | Let Your Food Be Medicine with Ale Abregú of We Are Heartful
My medicine brother Ale Abregú is a plant-based chef and retreat facilitator, and expert in nutrition and how to let your food be medicine. Born in Argentina, he learned the art of food preparation in his family, connecting to his indigenous roots in Paraguay, and working as a chef in restaurants. There he learned that intention, care, and presence were missing in the process of modern food creation. The food was overcharged with stress, tension, and hurry.
Ale then received training in Hygienist Nutrition in Argentina and Spain, and embarked on a journey to promote mindful and nourishing culinary practices. He currently facilitates his magic in healing retreats, workshops on healthy cooking, and offering detoxification programs as a nutrition mentor. As a male birth doula, he supports partners in understanding nutrition and detoxification during the conception process. Ale's mission is to deconstruct false beliefs about food and health, fostering a balanced and nourishing connection to support personal well-being.
EP 061 | JOMO: The Joy of Missing Out
The joy of missing out, or JOMO, is the hot, sexy, good feeling, "I'm a badass" antithesis to fear of missing out (FOMO). It's about practicing self-trust, self-confidence, intuition, and following the beat of your own drum. It's knowing that you can't miss out on something you are meant to experience. It's taking pleasure in your own path, and relishing the small moments that life has to offer you each and every day. JOMO is a vibe of following your own bliss. And today we're going to get into how to make the shift to choosing joy and love over fear.

EP 059 | The Tyranny of Perfectionism
The tyranny of perfectionism is that it overtakes your authenticity and drowns out your uniqueness. It can become a debilitating way that we cause violence and self-harm to ourselves. Perfectionism is touted as this wonderful trait, but it's truly a path to anxiety, not enoughness, and pain. And while perfectionism can often inspire hard work and excellence, it's time to ask yourself, "At what cost?" This episode digs into how perfectionism can be a tool of self-criticism and paralysis that creates a state of constant disappointment. Because by definition, perfection is not attainable or sustainable. Learn how to honor your perfectionism and make the shift to a more gentle, soft, and allowing way of being instead.

EP 057 | Creating Equity and Accessibility
I often share about the logistics and behind the scenes experience of working as a self-employed psychedelic life coach in the medicine space. This episode is dedicated to letting you in on how I am shifting my business toward creating equity and accessibility. I have avoided this area for a long time because I wasn't sure how to do it. I was afraid of doing it wrong, of still excluding people, and of being judged for anything I attempted in this realm. What I have realized is that healing cannot exist without attention to equity and accessibility. If it's not open to everyone, it's not really the service I want to offer deep in my heart. At least that's how I feel about my work. Starting today, I am shifting my pricing model to sliding scale, and releasing two digital courses for self-study DIY work you can do all on your own.
I want to live at the intersection of financial abundance and safety for myself and my family, AND serving at a level that feels within reach for more than just folks with economic privilege. I know this isn't perfect, and I am grateful to be taking my first steps to find resonance. Fairness. And to open the way for more people to access my work in a way that supports you. Thanks for listening and being part of my spirit family.

EP 056 | Remembering Your Sovereignty with Maitreya Wolf, Evolutionary Mentor
Today on The Psychedelic Integration Podcast, Sinclair interviews Maitreya Wolf, evolutionary soul mentor and founder of Soul Power Mentoring. Maitreya is a wise woman, musician, mystic, earth lover, and movement artist. Her deepest allegiance is to the spiritual power of Beauty, the wild earth, freedom and sovereignty for all life, and the life of Soul.
Maitreya grew up in Boston, enjoying a life of urban artistic culture and progressive education, while spending her summers riding horses in the outback of the Arizona desert. A natural artist, she later spent many years doing ritualized tattoo work, recreating rites of passage with people that have been stripped from our social fabric. Maitreya is a singer and professional musician, and offers concerts in a ritual format, making space for her haunting and soul-moving music to deeply affect and touch the audience members.
Maitreya has cultivated a diverse and omni-dimensional skill set, weaving embodied wisdom, and an expansive, dynamic insight into the beautiful (and sometimes harrowing) human experience. It is this unique and extraordinary lens through which she lives and teaches. Through her earth-and-soul centered evolutionary mentoring practice, Soul Power Mentoring, she helps people learn how to transform pain into power so that they can live lives of greater connection and purpose in this most extraordinary time of human and planetary transformation.

EP 054 | Accessing Your Inner Healer with Heather Shelton, Cannabis Nurse Herbalist
Today on The Psychedelic Integration Podcast, Sinclair interviews Heather Shelton, RN, BSA founder of Herbsong Farm, and a registered nurse herbalist who has worked with botanical medicine for over two decades. She came to plant medicine in desperation to save her life, having tried everything Western medicine had to offer. She suffered from significant depression for several years, with persistent anxiety on the side to boot. What she found was way more than treatment – it was a path back to herself, and an open door to all she could ever have hoped life could be.
Heather blends her intuitive plant wisdom and traditional nursing experience to offer a unique holistic approach to care. She supports people on their health journeys using herbs, cannabis, nutrition, and lifestyle changes. Heather also offers an online herbal apprenticeship, and has spoken about cannabis and psychedelics at many conferences around the country. Here’s a controversial statement…There’s no such thing as a bad trip. Some people find this super triggering. But what if the hardest, most difficult psychedelic experiences are the portal to your deepest expansion? The hard time is a gift. And it’s how we grow our wings and learn to fly. In medicine experiences, and in life. There’s nothing you can’t handle when you learn how to change your perspective to one of gratitude and willingness rather than victimhood. Today on The Psychedelic Integration Podcast I am exploring how you can shift a bad trip into a catalyst for transformation that will change your life forever.

EP 052 | How to Be Your Authentic Self
You might be thinking, "Do you really need instruction on how to be your authentic self?" Well, that depends on where you are with your growth and expansion. How willing are you to deconstruct what it means to be YOU? How open are you to the possibility that YOU is ever evolving, ever changing, and that you come from a spiritual place of origin? That You are the light. That you don't need to do anything complicated to be yourself. You just need to listen to what is already there. Today on The Psychedelic Integration Podcast I am sharing six simple steps to call in more authenticity, connect to your highest self, and be the most YOU that ever lived.
In this episode, Sinclair shares about:
- Recognizing that the “YOU” that you associate as being is a collection of agreements, experiences, stories, and memories. There really is no static you. You are always evolving and growing.
- At least some of your personality is a collection of trauma responses, habits, and learned behaviors that run on auto-pilot
- How we get indoctrinated to behave and perform for love as children
- How we get contained (being told we are too loud, talk too much, don't pay attention right, need to control ourselves, be quiet, be good, please adults with our docility and agreeableness)
- Seeking external validation, wanting approval and love from outside yourself
- Connecting to the real YOU - the highest self, the inner being, the divine light bearer… this is your essence. And your essence is love. Light. This is Universal.
- Receiving the answers that you are capable of holding in this moment
- Finding your soul mission as a spiritual quest
- Choosing to incarnate, being hip to where your spirit wants to be and evolve as part of ALL THAT IS
- Becoming a witness to your patterns and self-sabotaging behaviors
- Being a goddess walking, celebrating spiritual opulence
- Receiving the transmission of YOU, pure love, pure power, pure presence
- Taking medicine means you are asking for MORE - power, responsibility, healing
- The privilege of sitting with psychedelics, learning from these ancient teachers
- Removing the obstacles that prevent you from being yourself
- You don't need to be different. You already have everything that you need. You only need to let everything fall away that doesn't resonate with who you are.
- Taking in the weight of the world, seeing humans as bad or wrong, being angry at society
- Unfettered economic growth in a finite system will collapse the system
- Radical acceptance of where we are and taking responsibility for our own participation in this system
- Making better choices about how you are participating in the system
- Holding the weight of the world on your shoulders is an obstacle
- Letting go of the not good enough wound
- Worrying and anxiety are obstacles that steal your energy
- Healing your ancestors in the past and future
- Starting form a clean slate, quitting what doesn't resonate
- Cultivating your wild, childlike capacity for wonder
- The wonder of spring in Asheville, North Carolina, seeing nature come alive
- Be curious, have fun, finding out what you love to do, trying new things
- Stop giving a fuck about what people think
- Turning people off is the jam
- You are a special kind of vibe
- Put your attention and resources toward what you want, how you want to fee, what you want to experience
- Erase should from your vocabulary
- Plugging up energy and time and money leaks
- Trust yourself to be yourself - one moment at a time
- Reconnecting to your soft, animal nature
- Take off the mask, really be yourself and see what happens

EP 048 | Living with Integrity
What does living with integrity mean when you are on a spiritual journey with psychedelics? Integrity is the divine practice of unification. Of wholeness. Of reconnecting your disenfranchised parts and bringing them together in oneness and unity. If you feel drawn to plant medicine and psychedelics as a way to remember your true nature of peace and ease, finding a path to walk through your life with integrity can help get you there. Today on The Psychedelic Integration Podcast I am sharing about the four aspects of living with integrity within yourself and aligning your life with a path of authenticity, self trust, and spirituality.

EP 047 | Our Future is Ancient with Pia Sewelies
Pia Sewelies is a friend, medicine sister, and the founder of Our Future is Ancient and Soul Medicine Retreats, ceremonial psilocybin experiences in Mexico. She is a yoga and somatic movement teacher, and a student of non-dual Saiva Tantra and ancient shamanic healing rituals. Pia transmutes ancient practices and traditions into a modern-day language, bridging the gap for deeply transformative and nurturing transcultural healing.
The path of ceremonies and plant healing entered Pia’s life in a moment of personal crisis and overcoming years of severe anxiety and panic attacks. She was called to work with plant medicine, to explore and heal the depths of her suffering.
She found herself in the Amazon and spent extensive time learning from, and working directly with different curanderos in Peru, Ecuador and Mexico. She carries the traditions and teachings she received along her journey with the utmost respect, taking responsibility for the fact that this is a lifelong path of learning and growing.
Pia is a vision quester and devoted to the traditions of The Fuego Sagrado De Itzachilatlan and has fully committed her life to a path of service.
She keeps returning to study and sit in ceremonies with her teachers across the Americas.
