Dr. Nsima Usen was told by a doctor 22 years ago, while he was trying to do his landscaping job, that he is not allowed to enter the physician's lounge of a suburban Washington DC hospital because "he is not a Doctor."
This is his Story of how that challenge propelled him to become a Podiatry Foot & Ankle Surgeon. Dr. Nsima Usen shares for the first time his Nadvigating story on the Nadvigators Podcast - Nadvgating the American Dream Journey with Host Bassey Simon.
He literally took that challenge to heart. He went home and cried a lot, and decided that he was going to "Take the challenge as an opportunity to learn and rediscover himself, and he did.
The journey was not easy, but he could set his sights on the final prize.

About the Host: Bassey Simon
Bassey Simon is a full-time Digital Strategist, Business Owner, Creator, and Host of The Nadvigators Podcast - Nadvigating the American Dream with Bassey Simon. As a Nadvigator himself, he started his own nadvigating journey as a Janitor in a suburban Maryland furniture store where he was told that he could not have a furniture sales job because "he did not have work experience in the USA." After only two weeks of working there, he became a sales associate, and within the next two weeks, became the top sales associate in the company; and remained there for the next 3 months until he left to pursue his passion for Information Technology with various technology companies including Microsoft sales office in Washington DC., and Verizon Communications.
In addition, since 2008, Bassey has started and run several successful businesses with an interest in facility management, oil and gas procurement solutions, and international procurement agency, and currently owns The 501c3 Agency, a full-service Agency specializing in propelling nonprofits to fulfill their mission using technology as a catalyst.
