Ep. 100: MY 100TH PODCAST EPISODE!!! What I Have Learned After 100 Episodes
MY 100TH EPISODE IS HERE. Since this is such a special episode, I wanted to thank you, guys. Thank you for always listening and tuning in every week, thank you for following the Instagram and interacting on that, thank you for all the shares on your stories which mean more to me than anything, and of course, thank you for the kind reviews. I interview so many people on this podcast and so many different types of people. I have interviewed about 95 people on the show. 95!! That is insane. And all of them come from different walks of life and different backgrounds. I learn so much from every single guest I have ever had on. Recently, I was debating niching down to only entrepreneurship or a specific type of person. But, I love the diverse guests I have. I love hearing people's stories. And it means so much to me that you love them too. But, I have absolutely loved creating this podcast. I love sharing my platform and giving it to others. This podcast has also been through a lot with me. While I don't share my personal life as much on here, I have quit a job, started an agency, moved to NYC, moved back home from NYC, and I feel like this is only the beginning. I can't wait to see the rest of the chapters unfold. So thank you, thank you, thank you for being here with me on this podcast. Thank you for listening regardless is this is your first episode or your 100th episode. I encourage you to binge any episodes that you might find useful - and I may be biased - but like the reviewer said, you can get something out of every episode. Let me know by DMing me which episode was YOUR favorite. And who you want to see on the podcast next. I have some incredible guests coming on that I feel like I need to pinch myself. Before we go, if you could please take a screenshot and share that you are listening to the episode, that helps a ton. It helps people discover the podcast. I love seeing all the shares on your stories. So... Cheers to episode 100 and cheers to the next hundred more!

I feel like by being a YouTuber and putting your life on the Internet, it is automatically assumed that you have your life together, but trust me. I most definitely do not. Ep 7. How to Make Money as a YouTuber: EVERYTHING You Need to Know
Today we are talking about a job I am very familiar with. I have been doing YouTube for 7 years now and it definitely has changed a lot. When I started I don’t even think Adsense was a thing. I don’t even know if Google had owned YouTube yet. You could not make money off of it, and the term “influencer” or “YouTuber” were not yet a thing. I have looked up countless of articles on how YouTubers make money, how influencers make money, etc. because I am curious on what others have to say about it. And let me tell you- the numbers are off. Influencers are getting paid way more what the numbers say. I feel like I have some knowledge in the area of youtube and how to make money. I am making a livable wage off of it which is insane. Never would I have believed that at 22 I could be doing what 15 year old me started. I am so blessed and so thankful. And because of that, I want to be transparent. I want to tell you how much you can make and how to make it. So if you are wanting to become a YouTuber, or just curious on how we make money… keep listening. Ep 5. How an 18-year old broke into the fashion designing world and started a clothing line ft. Zoey Reva
Zoey Reva is a lifestyle clothing brand that gets its influences from the warm Miami city. Meet Zoey- the creator of Zoey Reva. She started this clothing brand the day after her senior year finals in high school at only 18 years old. Zoey had zero experience in the fashion world. She is 100% self-taught fashion designer. She learned by doing and she learned along the way.  She started Zoey Reva as a wholesale brand where she would design the clothing and sell it to boutiques and department stores across the country. As her vision changed, she wanted to become closer to her customers. So she completely switched her business plan- she was going to sell direct to consumer. Now, Zoey Reva is a lifestyle brand that talks to their customers and sells affordable and timeless pieces.  Listen to this episode to hear her story and learn a few business lessons that Zoey learned along the way.  Shop her store: https://www.zoeyreva.com Follow Zoey Reva: @zoeyreva Where can you find us? Ep 4. Being a Middle School Teacher at 23- Facing Your Fears, Doing What You Are Called To Do, and Realizing Your Privilege ft. Katy Colvin
The world- and your social media feeds- are all full of everyone’s highlight reels. But in this podcast, I want to expose real life, real people, real jobs, and the real reel. Today, I wanted to bring a very special guest- a 7th grade teacher. I am so excited for you to hear this episode about the real life of a teacher and learn some things you might not know about this very under-recognized profession. Get ready to reflect, laugh, and learn! Meet my best friend, Katy- who also happens to be a middle school teacher. She graduated college from UNC Charlotte with a degree in English. She is one of the kindest people I know with a huge heart and definitely one of my only friends who has the patience to deal with middle schoolers. Katy did not originally plan to teach. She did not even go to college for it. Until one day, she had a quarter-life crisis and realize she was not where she needed to be. So she deferred her grad school, switched up her career, packed her bags and moved to the Dominican Republic to teach. She did not have any experience besides tutoring and she didn't even speak the language- but she found her calling. To become a teacher. She now teaches  7th grade English in Charlotte, NC and here is her story...  Follow Katy: @katy_colvin or follow her food  instagram: @katyeatsclt Where can you find us? Ep 3. All About Grad School: Differences Between Undergrad and Grad School, What it is Really Like, and about Occupational Therapy
There are so many different paths to choose from once you graduate college. Do I move to a new city? Do I move back home to save money? Should I enter the workforce? Should I go to grad school? It can be daunting. In today’s episode, I bring on someone very close to me- my cousin! She has been in a few videos of mine and is always open to giving advice and sharing her story so I thought she would be the perfect guest to have on the podcast. She is a 23 year old grad student at the University of Florida. She is studying to become an Occupational Therapist and is already almost done with her masters degree!  In this episode we talk about why grad school was the right path for her, how she really feels about it now that she is almost done, and debunk and proving true some common myths about it.  Follow Naomi: @naomicbarb Where can you find us?
