Getting Back to the Basics: Herbs and Mothering Yourself and Your People. Periodt!
In this episode we speak to the graceful and resilient Taylor of Sistah of the Yam where we talk motherhood, herbs and getting back to the basics in relation to sustainable living. Taylor shares ways to incorporate herbs and realistic nutrition into any lifestyle in a very simplistic + doable way in hopes that folks especially mothers can experience herbs and nourishing foods for self and their loved ones. Taylor comes with a cannon of knowledge of herbs as well as a spirit that connects with folks in a familiar and comfortable way. Because of her brilliance, transparency and honesty surrounding herbs and intentional living you definitely will get your herbs, drink your tea and get your whole life!

In this episode we talk with Dr. Hafiz of TEA Group Associates about mothering and the different dynamics of mothering particularly the dynamic of a young mother. Dr Hafiz shares a heart warming story of being reintroduced to her mother as an adult and all the experiences and challenges shes faced throughout life. She speaks about how she changed her perspective of her mother who did not raise her in being more empathetic, patient, and loving towards her mother during her aging years.

Female Anatomy is Golden!
In this episode we spoke with Saleemah Mcneil of Oshun Family center. We talk about her beginning and how Saleemah found her life's purpose. We talk about Female prisoners not only their basic rights but also their rights surrounding giving birth and their spiritual health and wellness while in prison and the importance of keeping relationships with female prisoners specifically. We spoke about how Charlamagne's book "Black Privilege: Opportunity Comes to Those Who Create It" has inspired her to go for it all! And in doing so her life has been an amazing journey! She also shares the importance of self care and our spirutual physical and mental wellness while giving so much of ourselves to others which we really appreciate.
