Turkey went extinct in Ontario in the early 1900s and was reintroduced in 1984, so naturally, this makes a great research topic. Ecologist Jenn Baici studies exactly just that. In this episode, Jenn talks about the population of wild turkey, catching turkeys, social interactions between wild turkeys, and more.

In a single minute, Jenna Dakin’s life disappeared. She suffered a stroke in December of 2021. The stroke left her half paralyzed, it caused her speech and cognitive deficits, and she lost most of her memories. Flash forward to today, Jenna is in grad school for psychology, and she is the author of her memoir, 21 Cups. Jenna is here today to chat with me about her journey, and her new outlook on life.
