Like most comedians, Glazer found a need for laughter in his life while growing up in a dark atmosphere. He is diagnosed Manic Bi-Polar and grew up with Schizophrenia among other mental illnesses in his household and immediate family. At a young age, he found ways to make his mother laugh in order to keep their family home from being too intense and furthering his own mental health issues. He is open about being on medication for his diagnosis and hope that doing so will help others (especially men) feel that they can normalize the conversation and get help. From earning a Gold Medal with Team USA as a roller hockey goalie, performing alongside Dave Chapelle (who saw him performing at his monthly sold-out show Glazed at the Hollywood Improv and decided to jump up on stage – they ended up singing Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ together), to cooking alongside Gordon Ramsay (after being featured on Worst Cooks in America and then going to Culinary School), Glazer has a multitude of talents, wild stories and anecdotes to share.

Aleks Paunovic

Aleks Paunovic

Today on The Neil Haley Show, Neil "The Media Giant" Haley interviews Aleks Paunovic.

Aleks Paunovic was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to a Croatian mother and Serbian father. The result of this remarkable blend of bloodlines is the 6'5" ruggedly handsome actor appearing on screens around the world at a rapidly escalating rate.
Acting came to Aleks while he was onstage in his hometown playing in a heavy metal band, his livelihood since he was 16. Remarkably the role offered was one completely against type as it was that of Roddy McDowall's butler in the 1994 TV movie 'Heads'. Now bitten with the acting bug, Aleks combined his athleticism from his lifetime of boxing - he claims that he started boxing in the womb as all of the men in his family are boxers - and turned it into a very busy career as a stunt actor.
In 2001 Aleks stopped in Vancouver on his way to Los Angeles with an impressive resume and ready to take on Hollywood when the most horrible event in America's recent history struck. 911 changed the way anyone could enter the states and so Aleks found himself a new home and career in busy Vancouver.

Lenny Clarke

Lenny Clarke

Today on The Neil Haley Show, Neil "The Media Giant" Haley interviews Lenny Clarke.

Lenny Clarke famous for his thick Boston accent. During the 1970s, as related in the Comedy Central roast of Clarke's friend Denis Leary, Clarke ran for mayor of Cambridge, Massachusetts. When asked by Leary what his platform was, Clarke replied "Fuck the Kennedys". Clarke had buttons and bumper stickers made with this slogan on them. In an attempt to spark interest in his campaign, Clarke stole a Boston bus and began driving it around until he realized it was just him driving a bus. Clarke then began to pick up random people and drop them at their doors. Clarke was the most famous "saloon comic" in Boston during the 1980s, the heyday of the Boston comedy scene. The DVD release When Standup Stood Out (2006) details Clarke's early career and affiliations with other famous Boston comics, such as Steven Wright and Denis Leary, his good friends. In 1980, Clarke wrote and starred in a local television show Lenny Clarke's Late Show featuring Wright and Leary, in collaboration with Boston comedy writer Martin Olson. Clarke and Olson were roommates, and their apartment, known by comedians as "The Barracks", was a notorious "crash pad" for comics visiting Boston, and the subject of a documentary film as Clarke and Leary explain in When Standup Stood Out. Since his early days in Boston, Clarke starred in his own short-lived network sitcom Lenny (1990), and in such TV shows as Contest Searchlight, The Job, The John Larroquette Show and It's All Relative and movies like Monument Ave., Fever Pitch and Southie. As of 2006, Clarke appears in the recurring role of Uncle Teddy on the FX comedy-drama Rescue Me.

Riley Emilia Voelkel was born in Elk Grove, California, Riley Voelkel's family moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada when she was a child and she grew up in Sacramento, California. As a youth she was heavily involved in athletics, her family and schoolwork. Riley was discovered during a modeling audition and she lost no time in taking advantage of that opportunity. She moved to Los Angeles and threw herself into the acting world. With her natural talent for the arts it did not take long before she was booking commercials and acting full time. Her first acting role was as a club girl in the Oscar nominated film The Social Network, directed by David Fincher and written by Aaron Sorkin. From there Riley's career took off and she quickly booked roles in such hit series as The Mentalist, Glee, and American Horror Story. She worked once again with Aaron Sorkin when she was cast as student turned assistant Jenna Johnson in HBO's award-winning The Newsroom opposite Jeff Daniels. More roles followed culminating in perhaps her best-known role to date, Freya Mikaelson in CW's The Vampire Diaries spin-off, The Originals. Adam Gamal

Adam Gamal

Today on The Neil Haley Show and The Love Is Podcast, Neil "The Media Giant" and Kim Sorrelle interview Adam Gamal. Adam Gamal (pseudonym), one of the only Muslim Arab Americans to serve in "The Activity," or "The Unit" (as the Department of Defense has asked us to refer to it) has written one of the most explosive and unlikely stories of immigration, service and sacrifice: THE UNIT: My Life Fighting Terrorists as One of America's Most Secret Military Operatives (On Sale February 20, 2024). Let me know if you think this is of interest to you for Snap Judgement. Within the U.S. military there is a team so secretive that not only is the name of this unit classified, its members are like ghosts to the military personnel. Even the VA doesn't have them listed. This is the world Adam Gamal lived. As a young boy he fled Egypt to come to the U.S. to escape from the Muslim Brotherhood. He spoke no English, stood 5'1", 112lbs, and hardly cut the figure of a future soldier.
