He is the chef/partner at Wursthall, a California beer hall in downtown San Mateo.

Dr. Marcia Castro is a Professor of Demography and the Chair of the Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. At Harvard, she’s also a member of the Faculty Advisory Committee of the Brazil Studies Program. Her research focuses on vector-born disease spread and control, population dynamics, urbanization and health. She has worked extensively in the Brazilian Amazon region, as well as in Ghana and Tanzania.

Kavita was the founding director of Stanford’s Program on Social Entrepreneurship, and sits on the boards and investment committees of of several foundations and funds.
