Never Found Never Forgotten

Two 8 year old girls go missing.  One from New Hampshire. One from Florida.  Despite the 1,500 miles that separate them, their case has 1 suspect in common. 

Two men, both from Bremerton, Washington disappear nearly 30 years apart. Joseph Pichler disappeared in 2006, and Francis Cantea in 1975. 

4 year old Rilya Wilson disappeared from foster care in early 2001. It was over 15 months before it was discovered she was missing. 

Witnesses see 15 year old Pearl Pinson being attacked on a pedestrian overpass. She is never seen again, and her abductor was killed in a shootout with police. 

After a loooong hiatus, I'm back! This week I'm going to tell you about the disappearances of 2 little girls: 20 month old Ayla Reynolds from Maine, and 10 month old Lisa Irwin from Missouri. 

Diamond Bynum and her 2 year old nephew vanished without a trace from Gary, Indiana.  Diamond suffers from Prader-Willi Syndrome, a condition that leaves her mentally and physically disabled. There have been few clues in this case. 

Two cases from the wilderness of California. The 1981 disappearance of 14 year old Stacy Arras from Yosemite National Park, and the 1998 disappearance of 38 year old Jonathan Aujay from the Angeles National Forest. Both cases remain unsolved. 

Also, a review of the book "Highway of Tears" by Jessica McDiarmid. 

The 1982 disappearance of Steven Pearsall has been linked to the disappearance of 12 year old Christina White in 1979, and the 1981 murder of Kristen David.  Mysteriously, the same night Steven disappeared two women, Kristina Nelson and her stepsister Jacqueline "Brandi" Miller, also went missing.  Their bodies were later discovered in 1984.  This rash of crimes in the Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Washington area has been called the Lewis Clark Valley Murders. Are they linked to one person of interest? 

The Runaway Train music video was re-released for the 25th anniversary featuring the missing children Adagio Talifero, Tammy Flores, Joanna Hernandez Pacheco, Kristopher Lewis, Nahomi Grant, and Alexandria Lowitzer. 

Soul Asylum released a music video to the song Runaway Train in 1993, featuring the photos of missing kids. 10 remain missing.  These are their stories. 

Seven year old Amber Swartz-Garcia disappeared while jumping rope in her front yard one June afternoon in 1988.  Her case has taken many twists and turns, but Amber has never been found. 

As "satanic panic" spread across the country, 17 year old Kelly Wilson disappeared.  But quickly her case became overshadowed by rumors, speculation, and false accusations of satanic rituals, involving even the lead investigator in her disappearance. 

Two different boys missing from Oregon- Fourteen year old Jeremy Bright in 1986 and eight year old Derek Engebretson in 1998. The two stories are not connected, just share some similarities, so we told them in the same episodes. 

In 1958, the Martin Family disappeared while searching for some greenery for Christmas decorations. The bodies of two of the daughters were recovered, but three bodies are still missing.  And some evidence suggests foul play. What happened to this family? 

This week's story is a listener suggestion about 9 year old Serenity Dennard, missing from the Black Hills Children's Home. There were plenty of things that could have been done to prevent her disappearance, but the fact remains that Serenity is still missing and her family is desperate to bring her home. 

Civil rights activist disappears after lending support at the occupation of Wounded Knee in 1973.  FBI documents released in 2013 seem to confirm the murder of Perry "Ray" Robinson, Jr. But what really happened to Ray? And where is he? 

Are all these missing women connected to one man?  Known con-man and horseman, Silas Jayne has links to each of these disappearances. Three friends vanish from a state park on Fourth of July weekend, and multi-millionaire candy heiress have all vanished with no trace. But one name comes up in both cases. 

Robert Pilsen-Rahier was just fifteen years old when he vanished from a residential psychiatric treatment facility on July 6, 1990. After speaking with his mom on the phone just hours before and telling her he needed to tell her something, Robert vanished among conflicting reports of what really happened to him. Staff at the center claims he ran away while on an outing.  But evidence suggests that may not be the case.

The disappearance of 70 year old Michael Chambers was originally considered a suicide, despite evidence that may suggest foul play. But private investigators and a new sheriff have renewed investigation into the case. 

Kristal Reisinger, 29, disappeared from Crestone, Colorado where she went to seek spiritual enlightenment. After telling friends she had been the victim of sexual assault, Kristal vanished. Someone in the tiny town of Crestone can hold the key to unlocking the mystery of what happened to Kristal. 

Last year we brought awareness to the issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.  This episode is to bring attention to that issue, and provide an update on the progress being made in policy creation, data collection, and law enforcement training.  In this week's episode we share the disappearance of 32 year old Linda Skeek, member of Tlingit tribe and Eskimo Alaska Native.  A  Department of Justice report showed that Native American women are murdered at 10x the national average, and more than 80% experience physical violence.  

Fifteen year old twins disappear while walking home after visiting their godfather. The investigation has been limited from the beginning. What happened to Dannette and Jeannette Millbrook? 

Four year old D'Wan Sims was reported missing by his mother from a local shopping mall in 1994.  Recently, DNA tests were conducted on a man who thought he could be D'Wan Sims. 

Three unsolved murders in one tiny upstate New York town just outside Batavia, NY. The murders of unidentified woman nicknamed, "Ruth,"  Frances Kimball, and the triple homicides of Tom Whaley, Hattie Whaley, and Mabel Morse are among Genesee County's oldest unsolved murders to this day. 

William Morgan has become a symbol of free speech and free press when he disappeared after speaking out against the Freemasons in 1826. 

Twelve year old Jared Negrete and 16 year old Theresa "Trenny" Gibson have one thing in common: they disappeared from National Parks.  Jared disappeared from the San Bernadino National Forest while on a trip with his Boy Scout Troop in 1991.  In 1976, Trenny Gibson disappeared from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park while on a field trip. 

18 year old Cleashindra Hall disappears just weeks before her high school graduation.  Despite her family's dedication to keeping attention on her case, there have been few leads. 

Fifteen-year old Nikki Daniels' family didn't report her missing for a full 18 months after she went missing back in 1992. Was she the victim of an abusive household, or did she runaway and start a new life? 

Two young women go missing from SUNY Albany thirteen years apart. 22 year old Karen Wilson and 19 year old Suzanne Lyall were enjoying college life when they vanished.

A 12 year-old girl goes missing from a small Upstate New York town after attending Vacation Bible School. 

Toni Sharpless goes missing under distressing circumstances after being asked to leave a party.  Sleep deprived, intoxicated, and possibly suffering a manic episode, Toni has never been located. 

Yolanda Panek is still missing, despite her former boyfriend being tried and convicted of her murder. 

Nine year old Anthonette Cayedito is abducted in the early morning hours of April 6, 1986.  Since her abduction there have been possible sightings in the American Southwest.

A 28 year old mother and wife is abducted from her driveway after arriving home after a night out with friends. Her case is sometimes linked to serial killer Coral Watts. 

This week I tell you the stories of three missing people that have received little media coverage: Marine veteran, Wade Taylor, college student Reny Jose, and Karena McClerkin. 

An infant disappears from her crib in the middle of the night.  Suspicion falls on her parents, but still no one has found baby Sabrina.
