She serves on the board of directors for Triangle Area Network Healthcare, is the founder of "My Story to Tell: Breaking the Cycle" a support group for survivors of sexual abuse/sexual trauma, and she founded QTPOC SETX (Queer & Trans People of Color, SouthEast Texas).
