This episode highlights the work of Dr. Mary Dainty, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-approved Supervisor in Texas. Her work focuses on healing a wide range of life traumas and experiences of brokenness that can negatively effect mental wellness. She describes the different types of adverse experiences that can lead to traumatic stress and shares info about a variety of healing techniques, including EMDR. You will likely come away from this episode with a very different perspective on trauma and who needs to heal from trauma.

She uses her voice through art as a way to express her views on her lived experience and to speak to the struggles of other oppressed people.
