Aiming to create a space in music where everyone is included, Mallavora take influence from their personal experiences and challenges in life to make emotional tracks. The whole band hopped on a call with me this week to chat about pandemic life, how their favorite artists influence them, and the reason they create music in the first place.

We chat with vocalist Tyler Small of Saving Vice, a metalcore outfit hailing from New England. Drawing influence from the 2000’s metal scene, the group utilize anything from synths to drums to lock down heavy hard-hitters and emotional odes. The group take inspiration from many contemporary heavy artists like Bring Me The Horizon and The Plot In You and PVRIS and create melodic metal tracks that are full of meaning.
