ABOUT

Christina is the Director of EdTech Learning and Growth, and Kirsten Soroko, is the Director of Personalized Learning and Growth, both at Pinkerton Academy. 

Christina has more than 15 years of experience in education. She serves on the NHSTE (NH Society for Technology in Education) board as the Professional Learning Chair, and is a Google Certified Trainer, Google Innovator, and ISTE Certified Educator / Community Leader. Christina has many years of working in the IT private sector. She has also been a previous guest on this podcast, speaking on AI.

Kirsten supports the development and facilitation of Pinkerton professional learning and growth of all educational personnel. She has become a leader for professional learning in many state venues including CTE career and Technical educators. Kirsten is an East Kingston school board member and an award-winning, four-year standout tennis player for Colby-Sawyer College.

Dr. Lloyd is the Vice Chancellor of the Community College System of NH. Before this post, he was President of White Mountains Community College. ABOUT ROBERT JACKSON

Robert Jackson has a compelling life story. Growing up in poverty and in an abusive home, he persevered and became a college football star, leading to a brief career in the NFL. He began teaching in the Indianapolis School District and is now an award-winning speaker and author. ABOUT

Kristen Moreland is an accomplished facilitator and educational leader with over 25 years of international and domestic experience. Kristen has recently transitioned from the Pan American School in Porto Alegre, Brazil, where she served as an instructional coach for three years, to northern New Hampshire, where she is currently the Director of Teaching and Learning for the Littleton Schools in SAU 84.

After graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder, she joined the U.S. Peace Corps and moved to Cameroon in Central Africa, where she taught English as a foreign language at a local public school. Upon completing her service, Kristen returned to teaching in the United States with a short break to complete her master's degree at the University of Denver. In 2005, she moved to Istanbul, Turkey, where she taught middle school English for five years. Back in Denver, Colorado, Kristen transitioned into an instructional coaching role, where she received extensive training in facilitation, culturally responsive pedagogy, and the needs of adult learners. Committed to growth and transformation, Kristen recently earned her EdD from Southern New Hampshire University, focusing on bringing humanity back to education.

The Christa McAuliffe Transforming Teaching and Technology Conference just completed its 37th year of operation. We sat down with Cyndi Dunlap, who has been the driving force behind this wonderful New Hampshire institution and also learned about Cyndi’s rich career in technology education.

Eleven years ago, Jon Bergmann wrote the book Flip Your Classroom, and his world has never been the same since. Sarah has worked for 15 years in the mental health field. She’s a certified youth mental health first aid trainer and formally a school counselor. One of her specialties is suicide training, and Sarah has been at the forefront of creating, revising, and implementing suicide prevention policies and procedures. Sarah is currently the Training & Program Coordinator for *Connor’s Climb*.

As Senior Director of Global Outreach at ASCD, Sean launched and grew the ASCD Whole Child Network to 1,800 members, 350 school districts, and 56 countries. He is also a Social & Emotional Learning expert for NBC Today, advisory member for OECD’s Future of Education & Skills 2030, and a founding member of the UNESCO Chair on Global Health & Education. He has written for the Washington Post, Huffington Post, EdWeek, and is a frequent keynote speaker.

Victoria Rodrigue

Victoria started teaching in Austria on a Fulbright fellowship before building her education career in the San Francisco bay area. She was a member of the founding administrative team that opened Basis Independent Silicon Valley in San Jose, and she went on to serve as principal at Meira Academy in Palo Alto. She brings several years of experience coaching teachers as well as co-founding a principals’ support group. For the last five years, she has served as an accrediting member of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Elizabeth (Liz) Cannon was born and raised in the Granite State and graduated with a Master's Degree from UNH. She was an elementary classroom teacher in the Deerfield School District, taught in California for a year, and is currently a Reading and Writing Specialist at the Harold Martin School in Hopkinton, NH. Diane Sweeney has been an author and educational consultant since 1999. Since then, she has become a respected voice in coaching and professional development.
