The Beauty of Imperfect Action
Living the life of the side hustler is certainly not easy.
Many people struggle to even hold down one steady job, and yet we seek to excel at our day job while growing our passion projects at night.
After a hard day, the last thing we want to do is muster up the strength to go up to the home office and continue working on our thing.
Hitting publish is never easy, but some days it can be absolutely paralyzing.
We have a habit of allowing GREAT to be the enemy of GOOD.
But here's the thing...
Good. Gets. Better.
But we need to exercise that muscle.
This video / rant walks through my thought process about taking imperfect action. How we need to build that discipline that will be with us for the rest of our lives, and how it is built one day at a time through consistent and imperfect action.

Building online businesses has become a small obsession of mine as of late. Researching the latest trends online. Learning how to create compelling email sequences. Diving into the amazing world of digital advertising on Facebook.
And I have successfully helped grow my wife's blog even while we were busy having our third child.
But for some reason, I found it impossible to sit down and work on my own projects.
To actually produce content and results.
I loved being a consultant or contractor, supporting the family business or going out to clients and getting them results.
But something paralyzed me about creating content on my own brand.
And then I figured it out.
It was the Resistance all along.
I had an invisible wall pushing against every good intention I had. Keeping me from doing what I knew I needed to do.
Finally, I came across a great blog at milesbeckler.com/ that showed me the way. That got me out of my rut.

Fatherhood, Hustle, and Grit
Being a Dad is incredibly hard.
Building a business while excelling at a corporate career is incredibly hard.
Trying to do both without compromising either?
Nearly Impossible.
Notice the nearly. It can be done, and I\u2019m doing it.
It\u2019s no cake walk. I want to call it quits at times.
But I remember my Big Why, and it keeps me going.
And if you are even thinking about embarking on this journey, be prepared. It\u2019s going to take grit.
Grit like not many people are used to having in America.
Grit of a bootstrapper. Grit of someone who is living for more than himself.
