#246: Richard Kepple — From Silicon Valley to Sedona, My Inner Life/Spirituality Leads My Work, and Much More

Join me at my "Rite Of Passage Retreat" - An Immersive 2-day retreat to guide you from living off the stresses of your mind into thriving from the wisdom of your soul.

You’re ready for life to FEEL better. Not because of what you have or what you’ve achieved or who you’re with - but because of how you relate to yourself and to life.

There’s a knowing inside you that life can be so much richer than what you’re currently experiencing - you just don’t know how.

But you’re ready to find out.

You’re ready to go ALL IN.

You’re ready to pull down your walls and masks and start leading a more fulfilling existence.

You’re ready to feel more invigorated by life - not because of your material or monetary successes - but to start thriving from the inside out.I f this is resonating…the Rite of Passage Retreat was created exactly for you. This is an event of death, and rebirth. A sacred journey to let your dust and darkness wash over you…To learn how to face it and whatever life may throw your way with love and surrender…So you can walk back into your life with more vitality, self-love, innate joy - and especially more Soul-led truth  than you’ve ever experienced before (and likely with a few new best friends!)

This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience like no other.

From the people we’ll connect in sacred passage with, to the fun and dancing and giggles we’ll let loose in, to the tears and truths we’ll unearth from the deepest parts of our hearts…It’s time for your Rite of Passage.Immerse yourself with us into this 2-day guided journey to access your unwavering inner peace and start coming Home to your fullest Self.Join us December 8th - 10th at the stunning Samadhi Retreat Center

This is so much more than a retreat.

This is an initiation.

To dive into the depths of yourself.

(and play and laugh like you’re five again!)

Total immersion.

Community.

Connection.

Unification.

To come as you are and leave anew.

You’ve already been working on yourself and living more from your heart.

But there’s a burning ache inside you for more…
More Depth

More Passion

More Trust

More Connection

More Fulfillment

You’ve lived your whole life consumed by your thoughts, conditioned behaviors, limiting stories, and external pressures.

You’ve worked really hard to get where you are and are very grateful for your successes and progress.

You’ve done a fair amount of inner work already by investing in coaching, therapy or personal development events, and you’re committed to regularly feeding your mind and heart through heart-centered podcasts and books and practices.

But something is missing…

In some ways (or many), you feel like you’re treading water - living just on the surface of what’s really possible.

You feel stuck or unfulfilled in your love life, career, relationships, inner connection, health (or all of the above).

You have a burning desire to feel more connected to yourself, more connected to others, and more connected to the pulse of life itself.

Our Guest's intro in her own words: Noelle Hodge Willett

My name is Noelle Hodge Willett.  In 1976 my mom and dad brought my sister Renee my brother DJ  and me to this incredible mountain range called The Sawtooths.  I was nine. We basically never left.  A far cry from Cleveland, Ohio. Thanks, Mom and Dad. My husband Dan and I  have been fortunate to raise our beautiful children Gabrielle, Gunner, and Drew here in the Wood River Valley. As they began to leave "the nest" I instinctively knew what I had to do. That was to find out Who I truly was. And so the heart and hard relationship with myself began in 2016. I began to take Mastery classes online. Self Mastery, The Conscious Creation Process, The Language of Feelings, Karma and Dharma, Spiritual Distinction Meditation, Chakra Work and science of Ayurvedic Medicine. I knew that was just the start. I completed my Yoga Certification in 2018 and have been teaching classes since. Early in 2020, a yoga practice called Kundalini found me. I began to take classes immediately through several modalities. Digging deep during the "pandemic" was beyond a blessing.  I am currently in Teacher /training for level one Kundalini.

#229: Walt Hampton — Using Money to 10x Joy, Exploring Inner Landscapes of Health and Healing, Affordability of Coaching and Therapy, Navigating Loneliness, Faith and Spirituality

In this episode, I invite my guest, and who is my friend as well, Walt Hampton, who is an adventure photographer, high altitude Montier, an ex-attorney, and now an executive coach. His clients are super successful lawyers, advisors, accountants, healthcare providers, hospitality professionals, and many, many more. In this podcast episode, we, have a back-and-forth conversation on different topics such as abundance and gratitude, health. What does it mean to have health? We talk about mind, body, spirit, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. We also talk about coaching, therapy, and healing.

What do we do about the affordability of coaching and therapy if we cannot even afford it, but we have a desire to have healing, to work with a coach and a therapist in a safe container? What do we do if we cannot even afford a session or a few sessions? We talk about faith and spirituality, and then we also talk about breaking through money-wounding stories.

I had a lot of money-wounding stories. While growing up and it's still those carried in my adulthood and using money as a resource, as an energy to 10 x hundred x your joy and happiness, and I share a lot about my stories and how I use money, to add value in my life, how I use the money to add joy, that really gives me joy in my life and cut through all of the corners that don't gimme joy. So I talk a lot about money in this because money is a taboo topic. We don't wanna talk about it, and, and I'm opening myself to share my stories. I. About money and abundance, and I share about loneliness, you know, how I used to be lonely and what I have been doing to overcome those loneliness parts of myself, and, I share a lot about my journey in terms of getting support and, and coaching and therapy and different kinds of coaches and healers and therapists.

I've worked so far, so this is not just an interview, and, uh, in this episode, just imagine two friends are having an amazing conversation. It's a vulnerable conversation. , I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I enjoy it. And, now without further ado, please enjoy.

I'd love to know your feedback to create a magical experience for you.

Podcast Feedback Survey form: https://forms.gle/zH1RKAprLUnZEzV76: The intention is to know my active listeners personally so that I can create a magical heart felt experience and touch your heart through my personal stories and guest's stories and learnings.

Receiving feedback can be hard. How can we better respond to negative feedback? Is there a specific language to request feedback in our personal and professional life? How should we filter those people in our lives? Whom to trust? What makes a good feedback giver? How not to take feedback personally?

How can we learn and grow from Feedback? Who are our loving critics who love us no matter what and want to see the best in us?

Have you ever struggled with this? If yes, I am with you.

In this episode, I interview Dr. Tasha Eurich who is an organizational psychologist, executive coach, researcher, and New York Times best-selling author. She uses science to help successful executives—from early-stage entrepreneurs to public company CEOs—achieve dramatic and measurable personal and organizational change. Her TEDx talks have been viewed more than seven million times. As a global thought leader, Dr. Eurich has been named one of the top 30 emerging management thinkers (Thinkers50).

#207(repost): Sarah Sarkis on Mastery, Psychological Flexibility, Emotional Skills and Self-Regulation Practices, Relationship with Risk, Sense of Wellness, and More

This episode was recorded in 2021.

Sarah Sarkis’s introduction in her own words:

I received my MA from Boston College where I studied Counseling Psychology. I then began my doctoral training at George Washington University with an emphasis on Adult Psychotherapy from a psychoanalytic perspective. Upon completion of my doctoral studies, I completed my internship and post-doctoral fellowship training at two inpatient psychiatric hospitals in the Boston area. There, I worked with people who were suffering from the most severe and retractable forms of mental illness.

Those experiences taught me the deep and enduring value of comprehensive and collaborative care from a multi-disciplinary perspective. I carry those lessons with me to my current work in my private practice, where I emphasize and utilize my partnerships with physicians, naturopaths, and functional medicine doctors and nutritionists to provide the best standard of care. In addition to my psychology training, I’ve studied extensively the use of mindfulness, functional medicine, hormones, and how food, medicine, and mood are interconnected.

My influences include Dr.’s Hyman, Benson, Kabat-Zinn, Maté, Gervais, and Gordon, as well as Tara Brach, Brené Brown, Irvin Yalom, Howard Stern, Steven Kotler, and Bruce Springsteen, to name only a few.
