There's Not a Lot Going On Right Now EP86
There's Not a Lot Going On Right Now EP86
There really isn't much going on right now in the world of baseball but we still managed to get together for over an hour and talk as if it was a full news week. Join Adam and Brian for that discussion about Mike Trout being really good at baseball, Bally sports going bankrupt, the Angels ownership robbing fans of hope, and a couple of quizzes because let's be honest that's what we do when have nothing else to talk about. It's still a good episode, have fun.

There's No Place Like Home EP85
There's No Place Like Home EP85
We've got some big homecoming contracts in the last couple of weeks, hear all about 'em. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for the news of McCutchen returning to the Pirates, Devers returning to the Red Sox, and just like we all knew would happen, Correa returning to the Twins. There was a handful of other moves recently, and a whole lot of arbitration deals that we didn't talk about because those are pretty boring, but what we did talk about was good. Listen in to one of the most disjointed podcast episodes in a while and come back next time because the World Baseball Classic is happening, and we're gonna be covering all those games too.

New Year, No Carlos EP84
New Year, No Carlos EP84
We welcome you into 2023 with baseball news, truly the best way to start the year. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for a breakdown of the Carlos Correa contract fiasco in all of its medically dubious glory. He was on the Giants and then the Giants got a little worried about an injury and then he wasn't on the Giants and then he was on the Mets because Cohen was like 'Who cares about injuries we wanna win' but then Cohen was also like 'oh wait the Giants were kinda right about this injury thing' and now the Mets aren't really sure about this whole thing and Correa is now just sorta chilling for a while before it all gets figured out probably just hoping he doesn't end up on the Twins again. Some other stuff happened too but who really cares about that, listen to the episode.

Carlos EP83
Carlos EP83
In the final installment of the Nonstop Baseball podcast in the year 2022, we return to full strength. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for all the big free agent signings of guys named Carlos, and also the other signings that happened this week of guys not named Carlos. Carlos made a ton of money this week, not Carlos also made a lot of money, but not as much as Carlos. Teams with Carlos are happy after this week. One team actually lost Carlos but then gained back Carlos and so they're still in a good mood. Teams without Carlos could also be happy, but since they don't have Carlos it's a lot harder to tell. 2023 looks like it's gonna be a great year for Carlos. It'll probably be a great year for not Carlos too, but we'll have to wait and see. Have a happy holidays everybody, see ya next year.

This Town Ain't Big Enough EP81
This Town Ain't Big Enough EP81
While we wait for Aaron Judge to find his new home, the rest of the league has refused to stay quiet in free-agency. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for a rundown of the big moves that have happened so far. The biggest move thus far comes from Texas. Tired of letting their Houston brothers run the division, the Rangers decided to lock and load for the 2023 duel and have gone big for the second year in a row landing Jacob deGrom for the next 5 years. Of course the Astros won't go quietly and sign a big name of their own in Jose Abreu. The Angels have thrown their hat in the ring with a trade for Hunter Renfroe, and the Mariners refuse to be bystanders with their acquisition of Kolten Wong. The AL West is wild, listen in for everything else that happened in the last couple weeks, and enjoy some trivia as well, enjoy.

Award Season. Some Boring, Some Exactly As Expected, One Very Divisive EP80
Free Agency is in full swing, some big moves have already been made, and 2022 awards have finally all been given out. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah for a rundown of the moves and how we feel about them. Teoscar Hernandez led off the moves in an unexpected trade between the Jays and Mariners, and the Angels made their first splash by going out and getting Tyler Anderson. As for awards, there's a lot we don't care about, and a lot we absolutely expected. The Cy Young winners were unanimous, the Gold Gloves were surprisingly ok, and the AL MVP was wrong. Listen to the episode, find out why.

The Agents Are Free EP79
Welcome to week one of the baseball offseason, where unlike last year, we actually have some news to report on. Join Adam and Noah for a rundown of the offers that have already been accepted, as well as the players who have declined to proceed to free agency. We've already seen the biggest reliever contract in history get penned, and the stage is set for some even wilder contracts to get sent out in the coming weeks. We also have some wishlists for our own teams of who we want to see get picked up as well as some ideas for other squads throughout the league. Awards come out next week, so don't miss this free agency primer or the awards breakdown to come, enjoy.

We Have a 2022 Champion EP78
The World Series has wrapped, and we have a champion. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, as we go over the final games of the season and crown your 2022 champion: The Houston Astros. The Phillies tried, but in the end they fell to superior pitching and clutch hitting from the favorites to win it all. There's also a smidge of free agency news to go over, and another winner to crown for which one of us was the best in predictions for the season. So settle in and join us as we wrap up the season, but don't worry, we aren't going anywhere. We'll be back next week with a slew of offseason topics, and will keep you entertained until we have baseball again.

The World Series is here. Tell your friends. They probably already knew that though. EP77
We are tied 1-1 between the Astros and Phillies in the World Series, and despite only those two games being played there's still plenty to talk about. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah for a breakdown of the games and a little preview of the games to come this week. There was also some non World Series related news to go over so that happens too. Not a lot else to discuss honestly. It's the middle of the series. There will be more to talk about next week because then the series will be over and we'll have a champion. Still listen to this episode though it's good. Anyway see ya next week, Happy Halloween.

The Stage Is Set EP76
The Stage Is Set EP76
The last of the championship series' games have been played, and we have the final two teams ready to play for it all. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for a rundown of how we got here. But first, let's meet the teams. From the AL, the Houston Astros. They haven't dropped a game yet this postseason in their dismantling of the Mariners and thorough handling of the Yankees, they're looking for a World Series win that won't be tainted by the garbage cans of the past. From the NL, the Philadelphia Phillies. The underdog that has overpowered everybody above them on the way to the promised land. Bryce Harper leading a pack of dogs to a championship the city has been gearing up for since they signed him in 2019. It's a battle between the favorites of the bracket and the favorites of chaos, have a listen and be ready for it.

Unlikely Champion Contenders EP75
The divisional series are over* and we need to go over what happened because it was crazy. Join Adam and Brian for that recap as well as some more predictions, this time for who ends up as champions of the AL and NL. We've been terribly inaccurate up to this point so take everything we say with a grain of salt, but if you want to laugh at us later it's worth a listen.

It Was Indeed Wild EP74
The Divisional Round is upon us but first we have got to go over the absolute madness that was this new Wildcard. Join Adam and Noah for all the heartbreaking losses and catastrophic meltdowns that we got to see in the new Wildcard week. The Mets imploded, the Cardinals exploded, the Rays fell with a whimper, and the Jays died with full on tears. Our winners of those games get to fight the big boys now; the Dodgers, Astros, Yankees, and Braves, have all been waiting to meet their challengers and this is the week it happens. We predict what we think will happen, and invite you to listen in and later tell us all the ways we were wrong. This is the thick of the playoffs, you don't want to miss it.

Getting Wild EP73
It is time for some playoff baseball and I hope you are ready because we are. Join Adam and Brian for a breakdown of what happened right at the end of the season, but much more importantly for some predictions of the 4 wildcard series that we will be blessed with. The Jays are hosting the Mariners and are looking to spoil Seattle's first visit to the playoffs in over 20 years, the Guardians host the Rays and hope to bring baseball's youngest roster deep into October, the Cardinals host the Phillies and are looking to send off a trio of legends with a ring, and the Mets host the Padres and look to bring a championship to a better borough. Do we predict the series' correctly? Probably not. But that's nothing new.

Huge week of baseball with some huge numbers to go with it so why don't ya settle in and let us tell what's up. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for all the madness that is Albert Pujols sending career home runs number 699 and 700 into the seats at Dodger Stadium, Aaron Judge smacking his 60th on the year and continuing to cap of an insane batting season, the Guardians looking like a bona fide playoff nightmare, Buster Posey joining the Giant's ownership group, and just a whole dang week of great baseball. Just a couple weeks to go before the playoffs begin, you won't want to miss an episode on our way there.

A Record Shattering Week EP71
A Record Shattering Week EP71
What a crazy week of baseball, records shattering left and right, and more on the verge of being broken in the coming days. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for a big ol' plate of insane baseball performances. Albert Pujols smacks his 698th home run of his career while Aaron Judge approaches 60 on the season, Spencer Strider takes a strikeout record away from The Big Unit, Framber Valdez is pure consistent quality, and Sandy Alcantara has thrown at least 2 more complete games than any other entire team this year. The playoff race is settling down and it's mostly just seeding to go but there are still teams looking to play spoiler and still some impactful series yet to come. Join in as the season wraps up, you won't want to miss anything before playoffs.

Playoff Race is Wrapping Up EP70
Playoff Race is Wrapping Up EP70
Big week of baseball, long podcast to go with it, let's break it down. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah finally back together as a trio to break down all the madness of the week. Albert Pujols passed A-rod on the all-time homerun records list, Adam Wainwright and Yadier Molina are going to break the record for starts as a battery, Aaron Judge is wrapping up what is likely the craziest MVP caliber season just to not win the MVP because Ohtani is simply that much more ridiculous, Mike Trout is still unbelievably good, and both the Angels (the team) and Angel (the umpire) still absolutely suck. All that and more on this week's episode, have a listen and enjoy.

Hope you are having a happy labor day weekend, and if not, hoping this episode can brighten it up a bit. Join Adam and Noah for a rundown of all the baseball happenings of the first week of September. Gunnar Henderson got called up and immediately made the Orioles even more fun to watch, Albert Pujols is really dang close to hitting 700 homeruns, Timmy Trumpet gave us a live performance that is gonna be really hard to beat, and Dylan Cease came one out away from throwing a no-hitter. There's been a whole lot going on in baseball and the playoff races are really heating up under the September sun. Lots of pivotal matchups coming up you won't want to fall behind on so come on in and have a listen, we'll keep you up to speed.

America's Team™ and Team America EP68
Another week goes by in the US of A and with it some news you should know about. Join Adam and Brian for a rundown of the currently announced starters for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic, the Julio Rodriguez mega deal, the now on sale Angels, and the scheduled MLB world tour first coming to Korea this November. The Dodgers are crushing everything in sight, Bryce Harper is back from injury, and the Orioles are absolutely in the hunt for a playoff spot. The season may be winding to a close, but it is anything but boring in this final month. Get comfy and listen in before the home stretch begins.

Some Bad Times in the Bronx EP67
With the heat of summer starting to cool off a bit, some of baseball's best teams have taken the chance to heat up even more. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, to hear about the ways that the Cardinals and Braves are ramping up near the end of the season; but of course, for teams to go up, some must come down, and the once nigh invincible pinstripes have found themselves faltering. Can the Yankees get back into their early season form? Can the Padres avoid another catastrophic collapse? Can Albert Pujols hit the 700 homerun mark? Lot's of big questions to go over, listen in and hear just how we think it will go.

You Can't Blame That on the Goose EP66
If you thought that the baseball news cycle would slow down after the trade deadline you would be dead wrong. Fernando Tatis Jr. has been dinged for PED usage and will miss the next 80 eligible games because of it. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for a breakdown of just what that means to the Padres chances at a playoff push and at the potential legacy of one of the games brightest young stars. Of course, that's not all that went down this week: Drew Rasmussen flirted with perfection, Albert Pujols is crushing homers like it's 2009, Chris Sale remains immensely unlucky, and Joey Gallo has a beard again. It's been a wild week, enjoy the episode.

The Trade Deadline Winners: Padres and Astros, the Losers: Brewers and Luke Voit EP65
The trade deadline has finally passed and we are here to tell you all about it. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for a breakdown of all the winners and losers of the last chance these teams had to make trades before the end of the season. The Padres won the Juan Soto lottery and took Josh Hader from the Brewers, the Blue Jays convinced Whit Merrifield to get vaccinated, the Red Sox picked up Tommy Pham and Eric Hosmer, and the Rockies did absolutely nothing. This week saw a lot of crazy trade action but much more importantly and much more unfortunately it marked the death of a baseball legend. RIP Vin Scully.

The Deadline Looms EP64
The trade deadline is nearly upon us, and while some moves have been made, the best could very well be yet to come. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for a breakdown of the handful of trades that have happened and the biggest names that could move before the deadline. Vaccination status didn't stop the Yankees from picking up Benintendi, Louis Castillo bolsters America's Team™, and the Red Sox and Giants may have slipped into becoming sellers. Where will Juan Soto go? Is there a team willing to trade for Joey Gallo? Will Ohtani escape Los Angeles? Tune in and find out what we think, enjoy the episode.

The Boston Massacre EP63
We are through the All-Star break and underway with the back half of the 2022 season, and it started with a bang. Join Adam (happy about things) and Noah (not happy about things) for a rundown of the All-Star festivities as well as the all important discussion about what happened at Fenway the night of July 22nd. Juan Soto won the Home Run Derby, Alek Manoah called John Smoltz sexy, Big Papi got his HoF plaque, Mad Bum looks like his old self, and the Cardinals are repeating the Royals' mistakes concerning travel to Canada. It's been a fun week with a fun episode to go along with it, enjoy.

Gimme a Break EP62
Gimme a Break EP62
Welcome to a very important episode of the podcast, where all things audio go haywire and you're left to listen to the pieces. So if you hear any leftover bumps, coughs, throat clears, etc. just know that I'm sorry, and that also you shouldn't expect a perfectly polished product from a group of guys who do this for fun. Anyway, join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for the longest and most rough to record episode in a long while, just in time for the All-Star break which we evidently all need. This week we got to see Kershaw flirt with perfection yet again, the Giants absolutely torch Hader, the Royals fielded a AAA team in Toronto, like half the All-Star roster got shuffled around, the Phillies absolutely refused to walk, and Zoom refused to let us record an episode properly so our relationship with them is over. This break couldn't come soon enough for all of us, see you on the other side.

All-Star Snubs and the Orioles are Good? EP61
All-Star Snubs and the Orioles are Good? EP61
Welcome welcome welcome, we are one week away from the all-star break and that means rosters have been announced and inevitably some people have been snubbed. Join Adam and Noah for a rundown of who got named a 2022 all-star and who didn't, as well as a look into a couple of unlikely teams that have gone on some serious win streaks. The Orioles and Mariners have gone on an 8 game win streak each, and have been beating some serious contenders to do it. The Jays were one of the victims of Seattle's dominance, and the Orioles made the Angels look even worse than the Angels make themselves look. Oh yeah and Sandy Alcantara also gets brought up again this week, just like every week it seems, because once again he is just too good to not be talked about and we can't help ourselves from bringing him up but just listen to the episode we promise it's not all about him even though we'll probably talk about him next week too.

A happy 4th of July to you all, and to celebrate, another podcast covering America's game. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for coverage of all things baseball leading up to this extended 4th of July weekend. Suspensions were handed out, rehab starts were made, and Rob Manfred is doing something good?? The Giants are struggling hard and will be without Disco for the remainder of the year, the Marlins are talented but can't put together wins against any good teams, and we straight up forgot to talk about Arenado hitting a cycle. Oops. Anyway here's to America's game, happy 4th of July, enjoy the episode.

Another week of baseball has just blown past us and we can't wait to tell you about it. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah to hear about Yadier Molina breaking a massive record, a couple of almost no-hitters, a couple of innings completed in immaculate fashion, and plenty of slander for teams deserving of it. The Braves and Cubs have had their winning and losing streaks ended, the Jays called up their number one prospect, and the Giants have picked up Yermin Mercedes to give them some extra pop. It's been a wild week, let us tell you about it.

Another week of baseball come and gone, and with it we saw some serious streaking. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for a rundown of the Angel's losing streak, the Yankees winning streak, the Braves winning streak, the Red Sox's winning streak, the Joe's getting fired streak, the A's losing streak, the MLB putting out the All Star ballot way too early streak, and our streak of putting out good episodes of this podcast. We Took a Sick Day EP56
It may be a slightly belated episode of the podcast, but we are here. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for a breakdown of all the breakdowns. The Angels are on a 12 game losing skid, Mike Trout had an 0-26 stretch at the plate, Robinson Cano did so bad he got cut from the Padres, Joe Girardi got told he is no longer the Phillies manager, the Dodgers got swept by the Pirates, and Brian got covid. It was truly a week of tragedy, but don't fret there were still some bright spots that we covered as well. As we head closer to the days of summer baseball, the league continues to get more interesting. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for another episode of great baseball content. The Giants dropped a series to the Reds and had a guy get slapped on the field, the Blue Jays swept the Angels with a bunch of one run wins, the Red Sox have declared a full on assault on the ball with two of the best hitters in the league, and the Reds are slowly crawling up from the massive hole they dug for themselves in April. It's been a rough time recording for the first time post Joe Panik retirement. Plus, with Jazz Chisholm, Max Scherzer, and Jake Odirizzi also getting hurt, it feels meaningless to go on. However, despite these catastrophic losses this podcast will continue, so join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for a recap of a week that was full of complete games, Trevor Story homeruns, and old dudes just having a great time on the baseball field. Max Muncy errored his way into losing a game, Albert Pujols made his major league pitching debut, Bryan Reynolds hit a stand-up inside the park homerun, and Adley Rutschman made his major league hitting triples debut. The Red Sox and Padres are getting hot, find out who else is, and who is not on this weeks episode.

We thought the day would never come. We thought, 'No way will the league let this happen'. We were wrong. Joe Panik has retired. We hate to be the ones to have to bring you this news, but we felt that as the premier Joe Panik appreciating podcast that it was necessary. If this makes you no longer want to watch baseball, we understand. Reid All About It EP53
A week of not one, but two no-hitters in the MLB, although one of them was a whole lot more interesting. Join Adam and Brian for a rundown of the best that this week of baseball had to offer. We had a patented Yelich vs the Reds cycle, our first proper no-hitter of the year, Ohtani finally hitting a slam that could be considered grand, and a record breaking achievement that sounded really impressive at first but once you read into it you just go, 'huh, well I guess that's still kinda cool'. Another week of baseball in the books, and as usual, plenty of news to go with it. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for a rundown of all the best this week had to offer in pitching gems, hand massages, and hitting barrages. The Mets continue to prove that they deserve the title of 'Best Team in Baseball' while the Reds fight for their first series win in a desperate attempt to seem like a team that wants to win at all. The Angels are division leaders and the Red Sox are division anchors, just like we all predicted. Lots to go over this week, so tune in and enjoy.

Reds Sux EP51
Reds Sux EP51
Our first full month of the season is officially in the books. Join Adam and Noah for a rundown of the historic week that capped off the first month of the 2022 season. We saw Kershaw become the all-time strikeout leader for the Dodgers, the Mets throw the highest pitch count combined no hitter in history, and we saw Albert Pujols, after dang near 4,000 days, once again starting at 1st base for the Cardinals. Fun differentials are off the charts this year, and if you aren't tuning into the teams that are making that happen, you're doing yourself a disservice. The least you could do to make up for it is listen to this episode, enjoy.

The 3,000 Hit Club Get's a New Member EP50
The Yankees tried to stop it, but it was inevitable; Miguel Cabrera has joined the illustrious 3,000 hit club. He is one of 3 players to have a career with 3,000 hits. 500 home runs, and a career average north of 0.300, truly one of the all-time greats. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for another episode of baseball news where it seems like everything is just going on as usual. Miggy is good, the Pirates are bad, and Yankees fans are making it really difficult for anyone to like them. Podcast favorite Pablo Lopez is dealing with the best of 'em, Jazz Chisholm is euro stepping his way into baseball fans' hearts, Joey Votto is doing.... honestly I'm not really sure what he's doing but it's entertaining. Plenty to go over in this episode, so settle in and have a listen.

Perfect* Games and Immaculate Frames EP49
The first full week of the season is finally complete and with it comes a lot to talk about. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, as they go over some of the rarest happenings in baseball, such as Clayton Kershaw's perfect outing that got cut short, Nestor Cortes' immaculate inning, and Corey Seager receiving a bases-loaded intentional walk. New York has already been home to a 3 homer game from Vladdy, a Stantonian blast, and a Mets team that looks to finally be living up to potential. Meanwhile on the west coast the Giants pitching prowess is on full display, and with Ohtani's bat freshly resuscitated, it is Sho-time in LA. Plenty of amazing stuff happening around the league and this is place to go to hear about it, enjoy the episode.

Opening Day Overreactions Ep 48
It is finally here: Opening Day. The teams have taken the field and played the first games of 2022 that actually matter and we couldn't be happier. Noah is out this week, but don't worry, you can still join Adam and Brian to get your weekly dose of totally professional baseball news and overreactions. With only a few games underway so far, there isn't quite the full plate of baseball to feast on this week, but a lack of baseball to talk about has never stopped us before. The Rays look as good as ever, the Dodgers have lost a series to the Rockies, the Twins might have the most filthy rookie reliever in all of baseball, and Baltimore still does not have a real baseball team. Tune in and get ready for more, because a whole season of baseball awaits, and it starts with this episode.

Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for the rundown of all things NL and AL East, two of baseball's finest divisions, and home to the most conflicting predictions yet. Also featuring some way-too-early World Series predictions at the end, this isn't an episode to miss. If you missed the previous two episodes of predictions covering the West and the Central, go back and run through them, because baseball is right around the corner, and you don't want to go in unprepared. See you back here in a week, where for the first time in what feels like way too long, we cover some proper ball games.

Division Predictions : The West Ep 46
Division Predictions : The West Ep 46
Round 2 of the divisional prediction podcasts begins, and today the focus is on the best coast, the west. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for a rundown of some of the best as well as some of the worst teams in all of baseball, in another episode packed with predictions and this time with absolutely no shortage of scorching hot takes. The only thing more shocking than what happened in this episode was what happened at the Oscars. It's a good one, and in case you missed last week's coverage of the Central divisions, you should go back and check it out. Of course, you should also get ready for next week for the rundown of the East; the last of the prediction podcasts, and the last episode before we return to covering what we've all been waiting for, the start of the regular season.

Division Predictions : The Central Ep 45
Division Predictions : The Central Ep 45
With baseball officially starting in 3 weeks, and the majority of free agency done and handled, you know it's time for some predictions. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah for a rundown of the NL and AL Central. Find out which teams we think will top their divisions, and which teams we think have already disappointed us so much that we don't even want to see them win. Next week we cover the NL and AL West in part 2 of our predictions before the start of the season. So tune in, and make sure you don't miss any of these episodes, because they're gonna be good fuel to make fun of us down the road.

BASEBALL IS BACK EP. 44
BASEBALL IS BACK EP. 44
On the 69th day of 2022, the new CBA for the MLB was finally agreed upon and put into place ending the lockout and finally signalling to the world: baseball is back. We're gonna have 9 inning double headers, we're gonna have a universal DH, and we are not gonna have a runner on second to start every inning in extras. Opening day is a month away, but free agency got started immediately, and while it may have started slower than some anticipated, it was far from boring. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for the first episode free from the lockout; an episode so chock full of news and baseball takes that we dang near went for 90 minutes. There's so much to cover in the coming weeks, that we are returning to weekly episodes. So buckle in, get filled with baseball news, and come back next week for the start of our season predictions.

Tender Negotiations ep. 43
Tender Negotiations ep. 43
Another couple weeks go by and tragically, we are no closer to seeing baseball in action. Despite all these setbacks, join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for an episode in which we desperately try to prepare ourselves for a potential lack of games by not talking about baseball for large a chunk of the podcast in favor of a mor pressing matter. We promise, it's still worth listening to, and frankly, the topic discussed is more important than any sport. You'll have to tune in and listen, we think you'll agree. Enjoy.

No, the MLB did not give us baseball for Valentine's Day. Ep. 42
No, the MLB did not give us baseball for Valentine's Day. Ep. 42
Happy Valentine's day everybody, and welcome to another episode of underwhelming baseball negotiation news. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for a rundown of what the owners and players have allegedly agreed upon so far, as well as all the other news that's gone on in the last couple weeks. Ohtani graces the cover of The Show, some legends of the game retired, ESPN keeps waxing romantic about ancient players, and we revisit one of Bob Costas' best calls. Of course, it wouldn't be a complete episode without some trivia, so Noah has us covered on that front, and believe it or not, Adam and Brian are actually competent this time around with their answers. The Super Bowl is over, and we know you aren't watching hockey, so settle in and listen to the episode.

Just Havin' a Good Time on the Poddy Ep. 41
Just Havin' a Good Time on the Poddy Ep. 41
Have a seat and settle in for yet another episode of locked out baseball podcast talk, this time, with a little more actual news than usual. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, as they cover the Hall of Fame ballots, the possibility of MLB robo umps, and some upcoming prospects that each of us think are worth paying attention to. It's a shockingly informative episode considering what little news we actually have about the state of the lockout negotiations. It's also a great episode for hot take opinions and angry ranting about why certain undeniably legendary players are not in the Hall of Fame. Have a good listen, and let us know on Twitter or Instagram why you think Tim Lincecum should have been a first ballot hall of famer and what position you think San Francisco Giants' legend Jeff Kent played (hint, it's not what Brian thinks).

No shock, still locked Ep. 40
No shock, still locked Ep. 40
It comes as a surprise to none of us, but the lockdown continues, and the owners and players are barely talking. It's like a bad middle school relationship except between a whole bunch of grown adults which makes it way sadder. Anyway, join Adam, Brian, and Noah, as they go over what little news there has been over the last couple of weeks. There's been a few retirements, one of the best journalists got dropped by MLB Network, and... actually that's about it. Brian pretends to be some free agents in need of convincing, while Adam and Noah pretend to be teams who want him. We also speedrun a little more trivia. It's a good episode, enjoy.

A Trickle of News and a Truckload of Trivia EP. 39
Welcome to 2022, where we still have no baseball, but we do have a new podcast episode, so it all sorta evens out. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for a rundown of all the things that have happened in the last couple weeks. It's like 3 things. There's not a lot going on. There is however a whole lot of trivia in this episode led by Adam, and it gets really really hard, so have fun playing along a bit, see how you do. Anyway, see you in a couple weeks again, hopefully there's a little more going on, but we aren't expecting much.

Locked out.... Ep. 38
Locked out.... Ep. 38
Lockouts are no fun but this podcast still is. Join Adam and Noah (not Brian, he's gone again, I promise we're trying to get him to show up more) to talk about the upcoming Hall of Fame class, the free agents yet to be signed, and a whole lot of trivia that was unnecessarily hard, or maybe Adam is just bad. We also go over a couple of our Christmas wishes and New Years' resolutions for the upcoming season, if we ever get an upcoming season. It's a good episode, so settle in and have a listen, it's a long lockout, and you have nothing better to do.

Uh Oh. No Baseball Ep. 37 of the Non-Nonstop Baseball Podcast
Uh Oh. No Baseball Ep. 37 of the Non-Nonstop Baseball Podcast
Well, we kinda saw it coming but it still stings to see it, we are officially in a once-in-a-generation MLB lockout. But don't let the potentially bleak future get you down, instead, let your hosts Adam, Noah, and Brian, take you through the madness of free agency from right before the lockout. Mammoth contracts were signed, the biggest of witch being Max Scherzer securing himself $130 million dollars over 3 years, PLUS what he is still owed from the Nationals. Cory Seager gets his name added to the half a billion dollar list of names the Rangers have acquired and Javier Baez gets to attempt to bring some light to the future of Detroit baseball. Lot's to go over this week, but not a lot to go over in the near future, so unlike last time where we said it would be a two week gap between episodes and then it wasn't, this time, it's actually going to be a couple weeks. Maybe. No promises. There's always a chance we get some Joe Panik news and have to let you know, but otherwise, enjoy, and see ya in a couple weeks.

Triggering the Free Agency Avalanche Ep. 36
Triggering the Free Agency Avalanche Ep. 36
Welcome back from a Thanksgiving holiday and welcome back to the wild world of the MLB off-season. Join Adam and Noah for a breakdown of every move made so far, and the moves that could potentially happen in the near future. With a lockout looming, teams are antsy to get players signed, and some huge contracts have already ben confirmed. Jose Berrios, Byron Buxton, and Wander Franco, all signing big deals to stay on their respective teams. Marcus Semien, Eduardo Rodriguez,  and Starling Marte, all signing big deals to go elsewhere. It's been a wild couple of weeks before the nearing lockout, and we hope more massive deals come through before the calm. We'll be back in a couple weeks with everything important that happens, but until then, enjoy this episode absolutely chock full of free agency goodness.

Award Season and Free Agency is Upon Us EP: 35
Award Season and Free Agency is Upon Us EP: 35
With the season officially concluded we get to take a nice retrospective on the year and hand out some totally meaningful and accurate awards. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah as they go over the awards that have been given out by the MLB so far, as well as the finalists for some of the years biggest awards. But of course the other best part of the offseason is the potential for big free agent moves, and boy have we already seen some absolutely colossal signings (not really). It's the beginning of a potentially slow end of the year with a lockout looming and a free agent class that could take a while to settle, so expect us to be a little less frequent with episodes, but just as jam packed with top tier baseball analytics and opinions.

THE CHAMPS ARE HERE!!! Ep. 34
THE CHAMPS ARE HERE!!! Ep. 34
The Atlanta Braves are your World Series Champions and the universe is at peace knowing that we go another year without the Astros winning. Of course, with the end of the season we reach the beginning of the absolute madness that is the off season. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, as we begin to go over the chaos that is about to ensue. Qualifying offers have been extended, options have been accepted and denied, and the free agent market begins to take shape. Will we see Kershaw on the Giants? Will we see Semien return to the Jays? Will the Rockies do literally anything? Who knows, and honestly, that last one is the least likely of the three. Anyway, we go over the offers that did happen already, and talk about what we think about them, we also go over the Gold Glove award winners, and the fact that honestly they're kind of meaningless, and finally, Brian holds back tears as Buster Posey has officially retired. It's the beginning of a mess of episodes where honestly we have no idea what we're gonna talk about but it's gonna be a good time no matter what, so tune in, and have fun.

Live and Die by the Arm Barn Ep. 33
Live and Die by the Arm Barn Ep. 33
We are five games into the World Series and much to the disappointment of everyone alive the Astros haven't lost it all yet. Hopefully this is the episode before their downfall. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, on this lovely Halloween night for a recap of what's happened so far. We've gotten to see some great moments this series, huge home runs, great defensive plays, and nail biting finishers. Unfortunately we also had to bear witness to something so abhorrent, so repugnant, and so unbelievably despicable, that anything Halloween related frankly pales in comparison to its pure horror. The only thing that might compete for it's place as king of terror is what's being done to Oakland A's fans. What could it be? Tune in and find out.

NONE OF OUR TEAMS MADE IT BUT WE'RE STILL EXCITED EP. 32
The LCS series are concluded and the World Series is upon us. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, as they go through what happened in those games and how it all leads up to this moment, the final clash of the 2021 MLB season. IT'S TIIIME, for the series you've all been waiting for, as the two best* teams in baseball play for it all in the World Series. From the National League, coming in with a record of 88-73, earning their place in this series by taking down the most lethal starting pitching duo in the league and then snuffing out the season of everybody's least favorite LA baseball team, it's the best professional sports team in their city, the new America's Team™, the Atlanta Braves! Aaaand from the American League, coming in with a record of 95-67, earning their place in this series by taking out both colors of Sox that the MLB has to offer, and doing it all while not cheating this time* (as far as we know), it's the team we all learned to hate and now kinda want to love but our memories of 2017 still haunt us, the Houston Astros! It's time for World Series baseball and we can't be more excited, so settle in and listen to this episode to prepare yourself for the final battle of the season.

IT'S JOCTOBER Ep. 31
4 more teams fall, only 4 remain, it's time for championship series baseball. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah as they break down the endings of the divisional games, and the first couple games of the series to decide the winners of the conferences. Noah is riding the high of monster Red Sox grand slams, Adam is wondering why managers are being interviewed during playoff games, and Brian is still trying to recover from that checked* swing. At least now Brian can watch the Braves walkoff the Dodgers, and maybe he'll use that as inspiration to finish his walking homework. It's been a great season and with the playoffs nearing their apex, you don't want to miss a thing.

Wild Card and Divisional Series!!! Ep. 30
162 games in the books. For most teams it ended there, for the rest we march onward to the best part of the year: playoff baseball. Join your playoff chauffeurs, Adam, Brian, and Noah, as we navigate you through everything worth talking about in this post-season. We've got wildcard walkoffs, we've got division rivals meeting for the first time ever in the post-season, we've got Stantonian blasts in Fenway, we've got all of Milwaukee getting Rowdy, and we've got Kevin Kiermaier hitting into ground rule double rulings that even the card he stole from the Blue Jays couldn't prepare him for. It's only just begun, and it's already wild, so strap in, it's gonna be a fun ride.

The Cards Are Back In Town! Ep. 28
Join Brian, Adam, and Noah, as the final days of September baseball near their close, the playoff picture becomes more and more clear, and we discuss everything that we think mattered this last week. We have all kinds of cards to talk about this week. The Cards of St. Louis are on a massive winning streak and trying to secure their place in the playoffs. The wild card is looking spicier and spicier as the titans of AL East just keep swapping places. Lastly, the card that held a whole bunch of the Blue Jays scouting information is now in the hands of the Rays. Gearing up for post-season baseball is always a good time and this year has been no different, unless you're a Padres fan, in which case, I'm sorry :(

Are the Padres Dead? Ep. 27
Are the Padres Dead? Ep. 27
Welcome to the most biased episode of the Nonstop Baseball Podcast yet. Join Adam and Brian as they gush over the Blue Jays and Giants because Noah wasn't there to stop them. Of course there is talk about other happenings in baseball, like Lindor having a big game against the Yankees, Scherzer pitching like the absolute madman that we all know he is, and the Baltimore grounds crew getting kicked off the field by the umps. We are in the thick of some major post season pushes, and some teams that thought they were in are out, while others have battled their way back into the conversation. Who do we think makes it? Who are the scariest teams to face in the playoffs? Why is Tatis getting yelled at in the dugout? If you want to know, you'll have to tune in and find out.

The Yankees Got Swept and We're Happy About That Ep. 26
Brian is once again absent from this episode, but that's ok I'll go over what he would have had to say. He would be happy that the Giants are the first team to 90 wins and have expanded their lead on the division, and he probably would've had a lot to say about his two favorite people named Brandon. With that out of the way, join Adam and Noah as they go over the happenings in the rest of the league; those happening including but not limited to: the Red Sox are sick again, the Blue Jays are beating good teams and losing to bad teams, Larry Walker is still really into Spongebob, Gary Sanchez runs away from tagging people, and Jacob deGrom runs away from the media. But unlike deGrom and Sanchez, please don't run away from us, stay a while and listen to our baseball related ramblings. Also the Brewers threw a combined no hitter like 20 minutes after we finished recording so we didn't mention it, sorry, we are, unfortunately, not able to see into the future.

The Mets Are Gonna Mets Ep. 25
The Mets Are Gonna Mets Ep. 25
Another great week of baseball as Shohei hits more homeruns and steals home, America's Team™ makes their case for a playoff spot, the Jays win a bunch of games yet remain in 4th, the Giants lose their grip on first place then get it back, and then all the stuff that happened with everybody's favorite New York baseball team. The Mets decided this week that instead of being a normal and functional baseball franchise, that instead they would get boo'd so hard by their fans that they felt the need to boo them back, then have their owner party a little too hard and get a DUI; just another day for the Mets. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah as they talk about how much of a mess that team is, and if they've still got a chance to shake the hangover and make a push for the playoffs. It's a fun episode, capped off with some trivia and 'Who Really?', so get comfy and have a listen, you won't be disappointed.

Baez misses a pitch. The Orioles miss winning. Brian misses the podcast. Padres miss the playoffs?
Baez misses a pitch. The Orioles miss winning. Brian misses the podcast. Padres miss the playoffs?
Brian woke up the morning of this recording and decided that instead of hanging out and chatting about baseball, he would go play golf. Now, normally I wouldn't appreciate such a thing but it feels poetic because I think this is what the Orioles have been doing all year, as they seem to keep waking up and wanting nothing to do with the sport. Join Adam and Noah as we discuss this bad baseball team, as well as other bad baseball teams, and even some good baseball teams. One of those bad teams is the Mets, who got absolutely destroyed this last couple weeks, kinda like how Miguel Sano absolutely destroyed the record for longest homerun hit at Fenway. We talk about all that, and also go over some potential Hall of Fame hopefuls, some players who are putting up some really dang good numbers, and a game between the Padres and Dodgers that honestly, I wasn't sure would ever actually end, and frankly wish it had gone on even longer because it was one of the most beautiful disasters of a baseball game that I have ever had the privilege to see.  If you bothered to read this whole description, you're clearly a fan, so why don't you send us over some topics or hypotheticals or something you want us to talk about, that would be fun. Oh yeah, and Brian does decide to join us at the end.

Also, the Rangers are pretty bad, Aaron Nola has had a downturn in performance that I think I have the answer to, and as of next year the Cleveland Indians don't exist they are going to become the Cleveland Guardians. Anyways, love you guys, enjoy the episode, and expect Brian to be back next week because it's gonna be after the trade deadline and you know how much he loves talking about trades.
