Mike Tyson repeatedly punches a passenger mid-flight, a video shows A flight from San Francisco International Airport to Florida was disrupted after former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson assaulted a fellow passenger, a video appears to show. The video of the altercation was shared first on TMZ.In the video, Tyson is seen leaning over his seat as he repeatedly lands punches to the unidentified man's head. Another person tries to push Tyson off the man. The beating lasts for a few seconds. Representatives for Tyson told NPR via email, "Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat." According to TMZ, prior to the assault, Tyson had agreed to take a picture with the passenger at the beginning of the flight on Wednesday. But the "overly excited" man continued to bother the former boxer during the flight, despite requests from Tyson to "chill." The video shows the passenger's forehead, which appears to be bloodied as a result of the punches.

Teacher accused of injecting teen with COVID-19 vaccine arrested New York police arrested a Long Island teacher accused of forcefully injecting a student with a COVID-19 vaccine on New Year's Eve. Laura Russo, 54, was arrested last Friday at her home, Nassau County police said in a statement on Monday. She is charged with the unauthorized practice of a profession. According to the police report, Russo, who is not a registered medical professional, injected the vaccine into a 17-year-old male at her residence when she was not authorized by the parent of the teenager to administer it. The youth went home and told his mother he was vaccinated. The mother then notified police. Russo's son is friends with the teenager, and when the two were at Russo's home, the teenager reported that his mother didn't want him to get vaccinated just yet, so Russo gave it to him. Arbery Killers Get Life in Prison; No Parole For Father, Son Three white men convicted of murder for chasing and killing Ahmaud Arbery were sentenced to life in prison Friday, with a judge denying any chance of parole for the father and son who armed themselves and initiated the deadly pursuit of the 25-year-old Black man. Superior Court Judge Timothy Walmsley said Arbery left his home for a jog and ended up running for his life for five minutes as the men chased him until they finally cornered him. The judge paused for a minute of silence to help drive home a sense of what that time must have felt like for Arbery, whose killing became part of a larger national reckoning on racial injustice. Greg and Travis McMichael grabbed guns and jumped in a pickup truck to chase Arbery after spotting him running in their neighborhood outside the port city of Brunswick on Feb. 23, 2020. Their neighbor, William “Roddie” Bryan joined the pursuit in his own truck and recorded cellphone video of Travis McMichael firing close-range shotgun blasts into Arbery. Today marks one year since the deadly Capitol insurrection. One year has passed since then-President Donald Trump’s supporters stormed the Capitol and temporarily halted the transfer of power to Joe Biden. The riot has prompted a criminal investigation by the Justice Department, a House select committee probe and a legislative push by Democrats, all of which are ongoing. Democrats aim to shine as much light as they can on the riot and Trump’s role in it during events at the Capitol on Thursday. His lies about the 2020 election being “rigged” against him through widespread fraud have gone mostly unchallenged by Republican officials, who have also mostly avoided talking about the Capitol invasion itself. Even some Republicans who initially blamed Trump for the riot, or resigned from his administration in protest, have since either kept silent or renewed their support for him. Trump was set to hold a press event on the anniversary, but he canceled it. Roughly 140 police officers who responded to the attack were assaulted, according to the Justice Department. Five of those officers have since died, including four from suicide. The numbers are staggering: In one year, the government has arrested and charged more than 725 people in connection with the riot. More than 325 of them were charged with felonies, including many for assaulting officers or corruptly trying to obstruct Congress’ official proceeding. Ten were charged with assaulting members of the media or destroying their equipment. But the FBI is still trying to identify more than 350 other people that it believes committed violence at the Capitol, more than 250 of whom may have assaulted officers. Topics Sacramento County Jail Offers To Pay Inmates To Get Vaccinated Paying jail inmates to get vaccinated? Sacramento County is making the move to stop the spread of COVID-19 behind bars, but some don’t believe the jail incentive goes far enough. Outbreaks at Sacramento County’s two jails are prompting demands of change from activists and loved ones of inmates. “[Jail workers] need to do it. Mandate. If you want to keep your job, you need to get vaccinated,” said a woman named Shelia, whose son is in jail. “As of just this late afternoon we were up to 191 cases of covid in the jail since the outbreak,” county Health Services Director Chevon Kothari said during a board of supervisors meeting Tuesday. Those numbers represent cases found in just the last two weeks. Since March 2020, there have been 2,018 positive tests among inmates. Crystal Carrell’s fiancé, Douglas Murrin, also passed on the $20. She is concerned about the jail’s quarantine system that separates inmates into pods and believes the jail should have more precautions in place. According to the county, there are four types of COVID-19 “pod” housing units in each jail. Those four are: intake quarantine for new arrivals close contact quarantine for those exposed to someone with COVID-19 but has no symptoms suspect isolation for those with symptoms but pending tests confirmed cases. Today's Guest: Ashley Gutermuth & Robert Moore Topics: REMEMBERING NORM MACDONALD https://www.cnn.com/2021/09/14/entertainment/norm-macdonald-death/index.html Nicki Minaj's Covid-19 vaccine 'swollen testicles' claim is false, says Trinidad health minister Trinidad and Tobago Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh on Wednesday criticized as "false" the claim by American rapper Nicki Minaj that a person on the Caribbean island suffered swollen testicles after receiving a Covid-19 vaccine. Trinidad-born Minaj sparked an international furor when she alleged on Twitter that her cousin in Trinidad refuses to get a vaccine because his friend became impotent after being vaccinated. "His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding," Minaj, who has 22.6 million Twitter followers, said on Monday. The comments triggered an international backlash, with senior US and British coronavirus officials condemning the claims. "His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding," Minaj, who has 22.6 million Twitter followers, said on Monday. The comments triggered an international backlash, with senior US and British coronavirus officials condemning the claims. When asked about Minaj's tweets, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top US infectious disease expert, said there was a lot of misinformation on social media. "I'm not blaming her for anything -- but she should be thinking twice about propagating information that really has no basis as except a one-off anecdote, and that's not what science is all about." Do you promise to be a better tourist? These places want it in writing Five years ago, Iceland had a problem. International tourism had more than tripled since 2000, and many of the visitors were first-timers who were unfamiliar with the rugged Icelandic landscape. The result was a sustainability and responsibility pledge that asked visitors to commit to being a respectful traveler while in Iceland. Pledges, by their nature, are based on the idea that if you make a public promise -- it's more likely to stick. For this reason, most tourist pledges are educational and not punitive. One exception is the Palau Pledge which comes with fines up to $1 million for visitors who violate their promises. Iceland outlined seven common types of problem behavior -- from seeking out dangerous photo ops to illegal off-roading. They shifted their approach from reacting after the incident to speaking to tourists directly about why their behavior matters. In Bend, Oregon, part of the pledge asks people to commit to walking more and driving less. Aspen, Colorado, asks visitors to skip the high fashion and dress for high elevations. Finland busted out the rhyming couplets in an effort to protect its shy citizens from boisterous visitors with a verse that reads, "I shall also respect the lives of locals, and will be considerate with cameras or loud vocals." Maui County, which came out with their pledge in June just as tourism surged in Hawaii, asks visitors to be mindful that they're visiting "someone else's home, sacred site, and living history."

Director Richard Dinner dies at 91. Responsible for the "Lethal Weapon" franchise. "Superman" "The Goonies" Flight to Bahamas canceled after students refuse to wear masks. A flight to the Bahamas leaving from North Carolina was canceled after a group of students refused to wear masks during the trip. American Airlines Flight 893 to Nassau, Bahamas, was set to depart Monday when a group of more than 30 high school students started a mask protest that went on for hours, a local Fox News station reported. The flight had reportedly experienced mechanical issues at first, prompting the travelers to switch planes and further delay their trip. Following the switch, the students allegedly caused a commotion. “All they had to do was follow the rules, put the mask on, sit there. No smart-mouth comments. And they couldn’t do it,” passenger Christina Randolph told Fox News. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Who Compared Democrats To Nazis, Complains That She’s Been Compared To Nazis Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who compared Covid-19 restrictions in the Capitol building to the treatment of Jews by the Nazis during the Holocaust, and who also denounced a potential door-to-door vaccination campaign as an insidious effort by government Nazi “Brownshirts,” complained Wednesday night that she’s been smeared as a Nazi. On Newsmax, Greene addressed Donald Trump’s all-but-certain-to-fail lawsuit against Facebook, Google, and Twitter over “illegal, shameful censorship of the American people.” Greene claimed that tech companies are infringing on conservatives’ freedom of speech. She also griped that she and others have been smeared as Nazis. For the past four to five years, we’ve heard the media slander us as Nazis, fascists, deplorables, Neanderthals, and all kinds of nasty names, and that’s how they treat the president that we have grown to absolutely love and seriously miss him. But here’s the deal. Today's Guest: Topics: Man Hangs 'Trump Won' Banners at Baseball Games Dion Cini has been ejected from MLB stadiums for unfurling "Trump Won" banners. Cini said Donald Trump and Donald Trump Jr. have encouraged him for years to hang the banners. Cini hung a "Trump 2020" banner at Yankee Stadium in 2018, which initially caught Trump's attention. "After I did Yankee Stadium three years ago, which is Trump's favorite stadium, he called, and he tweeted, and he Instagrammed, and he said, 'Thank you, please don't stop,'" Cini told Insider. "I've interacted with the Trump family multiple times. I'm not directly part of the Trump Organization, but they know who I am, they know what I'm doing, and they like it." https://news.yahoo.com/man-keeps-hanging-trump-won-164314091.html   Ricky Schroder Calls Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl ‘Ignorant Punk’ for Supporting Vaccines Ricky Schroder, the ’80s actor who is nowadays known for berating Costco employees about mask mandates and bailing accused Kenosha killer Kyle Rittenhouse out of jail, is making headlines again, this time for protesting a Foo Fighters show. The band, led by frontman Dave Grohl, recently gave a small live performance to a fully vaccinated crowd in the Los Angeles suburb of Agoura Hills. Their performance at the Canyon Club was a hit but struck the wrong chord with Schroder, who was spotted with a group of anti-vaccine picketers outside the venue. The “Silver Spoons” star also shared a meme on Facebook a couple of days before the Foo Fighters’ show that depicted Grohl holding a giant syringe and wearing a shirt that said “Pharma Sellout.” Dave Grohl recently gave a small live performance to a fully vaccinated crowd in the Los Angeles suburb of Agoura Hills. Derek Chauvin Verdict Thoughts on the jurors’ decision. At least six people were fatally shot by officers across the United States in the 24 hours after jurors reached a verdict in the murder case against Chauvin on Tuesday. The roll call of the dead is distressing: A 16-year-old girl in Columbus, Ohio. An oft-arrested man in Escondido, California. A 42-year-old man in eastern North Carolina. An unidentified man in San Antonio. Another man, killed in the same city within hours of the first. A 31-year-old man in central Massachusetts.

052 - Part 2 - Jack Cameron
It's Not About You Episode Today's Guest: Jack Cameron TOPICS Man arrested at Disney resort in Florida after refusing temperature check. Kelly Sills, a tourist from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, bypassed the Orlando attraction's medical screening in February and refused to get his temperature checked when asked by Disney employees. Sills told authorities that he couldn't be told to leave because he had spent $15,000 on his vacation. Sills argued with the security manager, yelling at him, before the manager told him he was "no longer welcome at the park today." Sills pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor trespassing charge, according to court records. NYC Building Staff Fired for Failing to Help Asian Woman During Attack The building workers who stood idly by in the lobby as an Asian woman was brutally attacked on the sidewalk are out of a job ... they've been fired. Surveillance video captured the violence in Midtown Manhattan, where a 65-year-old woman who was on her way to church last month was viciously beaten by a complete stranger, who cops say is 38-year-old Brandon Elliot. The Brodsky Organization canned the doormen for not following emergency and safety protocols ... in other words, doing nothing while the beatdown was carried out in front of them. The doormen's union claimed they waited until the attacker left to help the woman and flag down cops because they thought the guy had a knife ... but that apparently wasn't enough to save their jobs. https://www.tmz.com/2021/04/06/asian-hate-crime-nyc-building-workers-fired-standing-by-doing-nothing/

Today's Guest: Jane Malone TOPICS Texas To Open At 100% Governor Greg Abbott issued an Executive Order (GA-34) lifting the mask mandate in Texas and increasing capacity of all businesses and facilities in the state to 100 percent. "With the medical advancements of vaccines and antibody therapeutic drugs, Texas now has the tools to protect Texans from the virus,” said Governor Abbott. "We must now do more to restore livelihoods and normalcy for Texans by opening Texas 100 percent. The Governor noted that Texas has a surplus of personal protective equipment and can perform over 100,000 COVID-19 tests a day.
