Research Project - Impact of the Change in Carris' Governance Model
Carris is a Lisbon-based public transportation company with almost 150 years of history, during which it cemented itself as a building block of the city’s transportation network. In 2017, the equity of the company and the public service responsibilities associated to it were transferred to the Municipality of Lisbon. What were the impacts of this change?
On this episode, Francisco interviewed Isabel and Diogo to understand some of the conclusions they reached about this topic, as well as the main difficulties they found when doing the research project.
This interview was based on a Nova Economics Club's research project, in partnership with the Institute of Public Policy, and conducted by Daniel Fernandes, Diogo Oliveira, Diogo Roberto, Isabel Caldeira and Pedro Varela.
