What happens when our caregivers need someone to care for them?
The impact of our environment on health
We could all use a crash course in understanding the social determinants of health. Every day we make decisions and exhibit behaviors affecting our health, both good and bad. But what about the things we cannot control or are so far out of our control that had a determinantal affect on our health. Could you be consistent with picking up your heart medication, taking it regularly all while trying to figure out where you are going to lay your head to sleep - let alone if that resting place is safe. There are people in our community right now facing this struggle. Let's unpack this topic.
