In our final Canvas:Conversations episode this summer, our host team comes together to discuss our favourite parts of recording this podcast together, as well as what we're looking forward to next year for our Young Adults community. We also finish last week's game by going back through our "Would You Rather?" questions to find out Madi's answers!
Canvas:Conversations - August 13
After a two week break, our host team (minus Madi!) comes back together to discuss news events and cultural conversations. In this episode, we discuss how to navigate expressing our faith through social media, our favourite parts of our church's current sermon series, and we play a game of "Would You Rather?" with questions from our Young Adults community!
Canvas:Conversations - July 23
In our third episode this summer, our host team comes together to discuss our favourite travel food experiences, the importance of church outreach, and a new study about Bible engagement. We also play a game of "Community Opinions" with online responses from our Young Adults community, and we introduce you to the fifth podcast member: Max!
Canvas:Conversations - July 16
In the second episode of our new season, our Canvas:Conversations host team comes together for a conversation on everything from charcuterie boards to what we’re excited about as churches begin to re-open. At the end of the show, we play a game of Two Truths & A Lie with answers from our Young Adults community!

Our host team is back for a new season of Canvas:Conversations. In this first episode, Matt, Madi, Collin, and Dom re-introduce themselves, and they each share about what God has been teaching them over the last year. Afterwards, they close the show by answering a few questions from our Young Adults community!

In our May (and final!) episode of Canvas:Continued, we are having a conversation on the topic of purpose & calling. In this show, Dom speaks with Cam Stephens (Director of Teaching and Adult Communities) about finding God's calling in our lives. In particular, they discuss the importance of discerning God's will for our lives through Scripture and in community.

In our March episode of Canvas:Continued, we are having a conversation on the topic of pursuing justice. In this show, Dom sits down with Steve Bock (Director of World Mission & Outreach at Grant Memorial Church) for a conversation on what it means to pursue justice in our own lives, as well as how Young Adults can connect with local and global organizations through our church.

Canvas:Continued - Mental Health
In the January episode of Canvas:Continued, we are having an honest conversation about mental health. In this show, two Young Adults from our community share their testimony about mental health; what they've experienced, and how they've found hope and healing. At the end, Sean Sagert (our church's Director of Pastoral Care) comes back on the show to tell us how the church can support you if you're struggling.
Canvas:Conversations - Christmas
Friends! Our Canvas:Conversations host team has come back together for a new Christmas episode. In this show, Matt, Madi, Collin, and Dom talk about everything from our favourite Christmas traditions to our disagreement about Hallmark Christmas movies. At the end, we play a game called "Christmas-By-The-Numbers" - it's a great time with festive fun along the way!
Canvas:Continued - Conflict & Boundaries
In our November episode of Canvas:Continued, we are having a conversation on the topic of conflict and boundaries. In this show, Dom sits down with Sean Sagert (Director of Pastoral Care at Grant Memorial Church) for an extended conversation on how to walk through conflict in two important relationship areas for Young Adults: friends and parents.

In the October episode of Canvas:Continued, we are continuing the conversation on spiritual disciplines! In this show, we have a few testimonies from Young Adults in our community, as well as an interview with Sharalee Smith, Director of Worship at Grant Memorial Church.

In the September episode of Canvas:Continued, we are continuing the conversation on community! In this show, we have an interview with Cam Stephens, Director of Teaching & Adult Communities at Grant Memorial Church. We learn about his experience with community, as well as how to connect at Grant. Afterwards, we have recordings of Clancy and Jon's testimonies from our most recent Canvas event.
Canvas:Devotions - Self-Control
In this season finale episode, we discuss the final Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5: self-control. We discuss how the Spirit gives us the strength we need to be self-controlled in our lives, but also that we have the freedom to make choices - and we should use our choices to grow in Christ-likeness.
Canvas:Devotions - Gentleness
In this episode, we discuss the second-last Fruit of the Spirit: gentleness. We learn what it means to be outwardly gentle towards the people around us, but also what it means to be inwardly gentle toward's God as He speaks to us through His Word and Spirit.

In the season finale for the Canvas:Conversations show, our host team begins the show with conversations about how to reach millennials and Gen Z in the church, and mental health during COVID-19.
