Navigating the Multiverse #18 | Moon Knight
This is a pretty wild episode. Nick and Jason discuss both the full She-Hulk and Thor 4 trailers, make a Contenders announcement, and butt heads over Moon Knight. It's chaotic, and Nick definitely has some words for Jason as the show goes on.
Navigating the Multiverse #17 | Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Buckle your seatbelts, because this is a long one. This is the one where we actually navigate the multiverse... kind of. After a brief Contenders, it's time for Dr. Strange 2 (total spoilers!).
Navigating the Multiverse #16 | Dr. Strange (2016)
The guys talk about the Thor 4 teaser trailer about 10 times longer than it actually is, get into a really complicated round of Contenders, and then discuss the first MCU Dr. Strange movie and how it could lead into Multiverse of Madness.
Navigating the Multiverse #15 | Dr. Strange (1978 TV Movie)
This week, after another quick round of Contenders, Nick explains to Jason the wonder that is the 1978 TV Movie version of Dr. Strange... that may or may not be as bad as you think it'd be. Also, Jason may or may not be paying full attention. And Nick has a few technical difficulties. Overall, it's a pretty... strange... episode.
Navigating the Multiverse #14 | The Batman
Yeah, you read that right. We're peeking into another multiverse for a minute. But we're also introducing a new format to the show, which includes a discussion on Morbius news and what is quite possibly the single greatest round of Contenders, before going into the new DC flick.
Navigating the Multiverse #13 | Avengers: Age of Ultron / WandaVision (1-3)
After a brief talk on Morbius, Nick and Jason get into Avengers: Age of Ultron and WandaVision 1-3. How many names can they both forget and/or butcher today?
Navigating the Multiverse #12 | Netflix Daredevil (S1.10-13) / Superbowl Trailers
The guys give another raincheck to the Daredevil movie, but we still finish off Season 1 of the show first. There's also some talk of Superbowl trailers in the form of a brief Moon Knight ad and, of course... the Multiverse of Madness trailer, which we get all into.
Navigating the Multiverse #11 | Contenders / Netflix Daredevil (S1.7-9)
It's time for another episode of everybody's favorite What If battles, Contenders, including the People's Votes from the Rabbit Hole Podcast Facebook Page (we also probably say that way too much. Maybe we should change our name to Navigating the Plugs and RunPee Podcast.) Jason continues to have trouble with names. And the guys cover episodes 1.7-9 of Daredevil.
Navigating the Multiverse #10 | Spider-Man (1977) / Netflix Daredevil (S1.4-6)
Remember when we did that bizarre, old Captain America movie? It's time to do something like that again. Nick and Jason hop right in on the new Moon Knight trailer before getting into the 1977 made-for-TV Spider-Man film that acted as a pilot for the short-lived live-action TV show starring Nicholas Hammond (where were you in No Way Home, huh?!). Then the guys get into episodes 4-6 of Daredevil.
Navigating the Multiverse #9 | Hawkeye (6) / Top 10 Marvel 2021 / Netflix Daredevil (S1.1-3)
Spoilers... for practically all of 2021. Nick and Jason talk the Hawkeye finale (while somehow forgetting to discuss the climax?) before getting into their Top 10 Marvel 2021 releases. To make it an extra special New Year Episode, the guys also started the Netflix Daredevil show. It's a jam-packed episode with lots of opinions, lots of wrap-ups, lots of theories, and lots of spoilers.
Navigating the Multiverse #8 | Spider-Man: No Way Home / Hawkeye (4-5)
SPOILERS. Just a head's up, this podcast is full of them. In the film that turns Peter from a Spider-Boy and into a Spider-Man, we finally have No Way Home! We talk for nearly 2 hours on the film alone before a (thankfully much briefer) discussion on episodes 4 and 5 of Hawkeye. Join Nick and Jason for a mildly technical issue-wrought episode that you hopefully don't notice too much as they finally deep dive into the film they've been waiting for.
Navigating the Multiverse #7 | Black Widow / Hawkeye (1-3)
Is No Way Home the only movie out there right now? Is Black Widow (the movie) too little too late or has it been unfairly maligned? Is Hawkeye actually good (or at least better than Falcon and the Winter Soldier)? Nick and Jason look into those questions this week (and the short answers are no, it isn't even the only multiversal Spider-Man movie in the news, which we discuss; yes and no; yes (and very yes)).
Navigating the Multiverse #6 | No Way Home Trailer / Contenders / Falcon and the Winter Soldier (5-6)
With the Disney+ Day announcements and the No Way Home trailer, Nick and Jason have a lot to talk about. Seriously. Trailer talk takes over the episode and doesn't finish for the first 55 minutes of the show. Then there's a brief round of Contenders, where the guys randomly choose 3 sets of Marvel character battles to see who might win (join the Rabbit Hole Podcast Facebook group to participate in voting! Participants and results from the last Contenders is also shared!). Finally, they wrap up talking about the mildly underwhelming Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Apologies for rough audio on Nick's part.
Navigating the Multiverse #5 | Eternals / Falcon and the Winter Soldier (3-4)
Trigger Warning: If anything about abortions triggers you, please do not listen to this episode.
Jason and Nick dive into the latest MCU experience, Eternals, and have quite a bit to say about it. The majority of this runtime is Eternals talk, and there are spoilers ahoy, so beware. There is also a brief talk on the Morbius trailer and how it, too, ties to No Way Home, much like every other bit of entertainment that has ever seemingly existed or will exist. And the show wraps after talking episodes 3 and 4 of Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Navigating the Multiverse #4 | Captain America (1990) / Falcon and the Winter Soldier (1-2)
Nick and Jason take a break from the MCU (maybe? You never know) and check out the wonderfully awful 1990 environmental act propaganda film, Captain America (which strangely has little to do with the environment) before going into the first two episodes of the Disney+ show, Falcon and the Winter Soldier. One of these things, you definitely need to see.
Navigating the Multiverse #3 | Venom: Let There Be Carnage / What If...? (8-9)
In this episode, Nick and Jason discuss Venom: Let There Be Carnage and the final two episodes of Marvel's What If...?. They also ask plenty of questions, like "Is everything canon now?," "Did the MCU just back itself into a corner?," "What ISN'T going to be in Spider-Man: No Way Home?," "What if... women's dresses had pockets?," and "How was that NOT Mark Wahlberg?"
Navigating the Multiverse #2 | Contenders / What If...? (6-7)
We're back with our second episode where we cover the new Hawkeye trailer, introduce a new segment we call Contenders (where we pit Marvel characters against each other and talk about who would win), and discuss the latest What If episodes on Killmonger and Party Thor.
Navigating the Multiverse #1 | Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings / What If...? (1-5)
In the premiere episode of Navigating the Multiverse, Nick Jobe and Jason Soto talk introduce themselves and their Marvel knowledge. The guys then introduce the format by talking new trailers for The Eternals and Spider-Man: No Way Home, discussing Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and wrapping it up with getting into the first five episodes of the latest Disney+ series, What If...?. As will tend to be the case with each episode, spoilers abound! As this is the first episode, and we had a lot to get through, it is a bit on the longer side--future episodes will be shorter.
Warning: Sadly, this first episode was attacked by some call connection and audio quality issues on Nick's side during the recording. This will hopefully not be the case in the future.
