We are a representative body for the Greek Australian youth community, discussing with various guests topics ranging from culture, identity, history, sports, and everything in between.

We aim to be a platform whereby the Greek and Greek Australian youth have their voices heard, the topics they are passionate about discussed all the while uniting the diaspora with the patrida, our homeland.

Ep 10: Talking Dance with Manasis - Pt 1
 Welcome to another episode of Ta Leme brought to you by NUGAS Victoria! In this week’s episode, our host Denise is joined by special guest Dimosthenis Manasis, Director/Instructor at School of Greek Dance and Culture, the largest Greek dance school in Australia and arguably even the Greek diaspora. In Part One of our conversation, we discuss Greek dance and its implications for culture and multiculturalism in Australia, specifically its role in keeping cultural identity alive. In doing so, Dimosthenis reveals the journey from where his dance school began, particularly through his father Alkis’ influence, and we discuss the evolution and changing nature of Greek dance. We also go back to basics and discuss the ways in which our Greek-Australian community is engaged through balls, panigiria and the like - with Greek music and dance at the forefront of keeping the youth interested and excited about our identity. We chat about the function and meaning of Greek dance, its roots in history, and its modern manifestations in both Greece and Australia. In this final part of our series we look at the relevance of arranged marriages in today’s society, within an Australian and predominantly Greek Australian context.  Γεια σας και καλώς ήρθατε σε ένα ακόμη επεισόδιο του Τα Λέμε που σας παρουσιάζει η Εθνική Ένωση Ελληνοαυστραλών φοιτητών!  Στο σημερινό επεισόδιο, η Βανέσσα Μπάλτου έχει καλεσμένους τους φοιτητές Απόλλωνα Καρακάιδο και Μαρία Ψωμαδέλλη για να συζητήσουν τις ιστορίες της μετανάστευσης τους από την Ελλάδα στην Αυστραλία. Σε αυτό το επεισόδιο, συζητάμε από που προέρχονται οι καλεσμένοι και μιλάμε για το πως εγκαταστάθηκαν στην Αυστραλία και σε τι ηλικία και αν η ηλικία παίζει ρόλο στο πως κάποιος εγκατασταθεί σε ένα νέο περιβάλλον.
