This is a message Chris Stewart delivered at Oasis Church on October 15, 2023, just days after the deadly and horrific attack by Hamas on Israel and in the midst of Israel's retaliation.

Chris Stewart wraps up a 6-week teaching series in the book of Ruth with a summary the main characters in the true story and how they point us toward the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

On this Sunday, Oasis Church partnered with a high school retreat at Ohio Valley Christian Assembly camp for our Sunday service. The theme for the weekend was "Growth," and so Chris Stewart preached a message on what a growing relationship with Jesus should should like.

On November 16, 2020, Chris Stewart shared a word with the Athletes In Action ministry at Ohio University. This message is based on the most significant statement that has ever been made in the history of the world, which is found in the Gospel of John chapter 14. 

In this sermon, we meet the woman who carried the responsibility of birthing and raising the Messiah, Jesus Christ. She is an example for us of great faith. 

Some 400 years before the coming of Jesus, the prophet Malachi spoke about one who would come for the purpose of announcing and preparing the way for the Lord. After 400 years of what appeared to be silence from God, it is revealed to a small-town elderly couple that they will give birth to the messenger. 

Introduction to the Gospel of Luke, the author Luke, the man Luke, and the person to whom Luke's book is written. Like Luke, we will invest several weeks into making a careful examination of the facts surrounding the man Jesus, who claims to be God. 

Is it possible to glorify God by simply enjoying life? If so, how? What does that look like today? Have you ever considered the theology of pleasure? Chris Stewart takes us through the Scriptures seeking to discover the answer to these important questions. 

What does suffering accomplish? Is there any purpose in it? This is one of the heaviest theological questions in the history of the world. We can't break it all down in less than an hour, but we hope this message brings you confidence and strength in your own suffering. 

Chris Stewart wraps up the teaching series on 1 John with a list of tests for knowing and having confidence that you are truly reborn of God.
