Britini D’Angelo was a houseguest on Big Brother Season 23 (CBS). During the finale, host Julie Chen Moonves gave Britini the floor and she revealed, to her fellow houseguests and to America, that not only is she a fourth-degree karate black belt, and teacher, but that she has Autism. Her goal was to bring about increased acceptance & awareness to the neurodivergent community and help to stop stigma’s associated with autism. Mental Health Awareness Month 2021, featuring the Mental Health Association in New Jersey
MHANJ's theme for Mental Health Awareness Month 2021 is "B4 Stage 4." In this episode, MHANJ Deputy Chief Operating Officer Racheal O'Dea discourses about the nonprofit group's services, programs and referrals, all free of charge.    Of special note are two new MHANJ services: Texting For Recovery, accessible by texting RECOVERY to 51684; and the organization's Recovery Hot Spot, a mobile unit that is targeted to frequent support centers such as food pantries and clinics throughout Ocean County.

A month into the 2021 Major League Baseball season, OCL Manchester Branch Youth Services Librarian Lou Nemphos and Principal Library Assistant Maria Colon return with views about early surprises, breakout stars, front-runners and strugglers among players and teams. Maria introduces "Texas Rangers Corner," a season-to-date summary of her fave team. Lou adds details about the Ocean County Library's Hoopla digital service, containing audio books, eBooks, and audio and video streams.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game
Hosts: Lou Nemphos, Maria Colon; Manchester Branch Maria and Lou opened their podcast with a brief description of the in-person dialogue that they traditionally held at the Branch in past years, explaining that the podcast supplants it for the time being. They created the mental image of an annual event, well-attended by friends, neighbors and patrons who have a keening interest in baseball, its teams, players, and changing rules. This episode focuses on preseason trades and star players’ potentials, and segueing into predictions for the postseason 2021.
