When life makes you feel unloved. Things gets too tough and everyone abandons you like a wrecked ship. Most times we become the ugly bride everyone is avoiding; we do all introspection and retrospection but no solution or answer to our daily loneliness and rejection. Nigeria has been Raped

Nigeria has been Raped

Nigeria has been Raped

Each Nigerian has been raped of his of hope, happiness and joy. Their clothes of talents, skill, innovation and intelligence have been torn by their rapist. This poem depicts the reality of Nigerians and how much they have to bear since independence up until today. We are molested slaves in our father's land that are exiled to poverty and misery

The Stars of Time

The Stars of Time

THE STARS OF TIME
Are stars on the sky of time. The way we live our lives determines our illumination. Each star is a unique gift with unique colour and energy. No star spent it's time in comparison to another. They focus on being themselves. We are to focus on illuminating and not outshining another. We all have when we shine and how bright we will shine. What matters is giving out best to be our own best and not to outshine another.

Too many souls are broken. They carry the scar of mockery and failures. So many wear the believe that they are worthless. Don't worry, you'll be fine. No matter your failures, defect, shortcomings and the mockery you suffer, start afresh today. You'll be fine. Hitherto you'll be fine.

Under The Weight of The Cross Bury Your Suicide

Under The Weight of The Cross Bury Your Suicide

Under the Weight of the Cross Bury Your Suicide

Both in the physical and virtual world I meet soul who are dead deep inside. Many are on the cliff of life about to fall off. Bullies and mockers are everywhere rubbing pains and failures on the faces off many. I weep each day when souls pour out their inner tears and anguish. Life is tough and many humans are inhuman to those suffering. I dedicate this poem to all those suffering from bullies, poverty, failures and from all life facticity.

You are Special

We feel unloved and abandoned. We carry so much brokenness within us that we think have devalued. People mock us and taunt our effort and poor health or financial situation. These leave many of us depressed and suicidal.
Let's not pay attention to mockery or insults. Let's focus on the beauty in us and share it with those we meet, for we are special.

Deus Caritas Est

Deus Caritas Est

Depression is moving around with the air. it's now inhaled by many leading to death.
Deus Caritas Est is a poem that calls us to show love to the depressed.

the full version of this poem is with the description and link below.

DEUS CARITAS EST
God is love and love is God. Where there is love there is God. This poem centres of how much we are to show love. A lot of people die because of lack of love. We are to show love and become the God of love to them.
Rita was a beautiful girl and her life was rosy but due to COVID19 she lost her job. She got the worst situation when her fiancé dumped her for another lady. She was all alone, no siblings or friends could reach out to her. She's knocking on suicides door. Here's a poem you her friends. She mourned day and night. Her sorrows grew high as she saw her friends living in luxury. No one to love her, none to be there for her. She's knocking on suicide door.
I could be Rita, you could be Rita. Let's show love and care those every downtrodden Rita we meet.

I'm Black But We're Earthlings

I'm Black But We're Earthlings

Greetings to you. Welcome to WordChef. A poetic kitchen where we cook and bake words into delicious or yummy poetry.
A lot is happening on our planet. Too much tension everywhere. What's happening. I dedicate this poem to everyone.

I am Black But We're Earthlings

I'm a rare breed.
Black is my colourful seed.
Dark and slavery my memory feed.
Hungry and strife my present breathe.
Rejected and wandering because of our leaders greed.

DNA of greatness,
Yet labelled a weakness.

Hard work and sweat from brow,
But a criminal because I'm brown.
My colour branded theft clown
My crime: I'm a black in town.
My fate is always to be gun down

Why should I pay
For my brother's crime.
Why should I bleed in tears
Cause of the sin of colour.
I'm black yet I'm an individual

I'm from a great race.
And a united earthling with one face,
Towards the eternal grace.
Working together as we graze,
While we raise to heaven our gaze.

Our mind is smoking weed of hatred.
Many are drunk with racism and hate.
Billions spray the perfume of wickedness.
Four out of ten celebrate rape like birthday.
Moral decadence a big sickness than COVID19.

When I break the law threat me
Like a citizen who has sinned
And not the Satan you want to destroy.
Teach me to be responsible and great.
My black skin can also be good.

I'm black but we all bleed red.
We all posses the same essence.
Give me a fertile soil
Of peace and love.
My blackness will
Bear fruits of Happiness.
I'm black but we're Earthlings.

Stay strong my podcast let's unite our world. Let's amend the broken. Let's wipe out crime from our world. Let's love and treat each other with love.

COVID19 a Plague or a Game?

COVID19 a Plague or a Game?

Greetings to you!
This is Apoeticnovelist podcast. A show that brings you to poetry and stories.
Your host and Guardian Angel all the way from Lagos Nigeria: Okon Ukeme Cornelius Dominic

Come let's tell our tales of fear, doubt, joys, happiness and love in poetry and stories.

COVID19 a plague or Game? A mistake or an undertake?
The Guardian visited earth to pick up supplications. The chilling breeze, empty prayer centres, markets and streets greeted his heart with sorrows. He peered through a window and saw Janet, the daughter of a murdered scientists, reciting a poem in tears? (She too was a scientist)

A Plague or A Game?
Few in White Overall played the musical
Scientific instruments of intelligence
Frantically creating the wave of a demon
The spirit which they unleashed

The sound undulation bears a mark
Resembling a ghost they invoked in
The past who danced disgracefully
In the market Square
Inflicting few harm before it was tamed

These vehement knowledge lovers gathered
Like drunken elders in their Chemical studio
They played both flute of Cell Respiration
and drums of Chemical Energy
Invoking the respiratory Demon

More powerful and bestial than its brothers
O irrational intelligent, men on white overall
You experimented on a demonic note
The orchestrated symphony is very rebellious

The rhythm fidgeting the globe
The rhymes painting our life's pattern
The dark shadow beast breaks free
Sipping life from all within it path

It wafts with ferocious audacity
Showboating its might in the village squares
Calling out to fools and rash
No brave warrior to confront it

The Robin Hoods in White Overall
Who found ways to annihilate the demon
Had their throat slit or their mouth sewn
By the godfathers of the men in white

The world markets and prayer centres
The true grave of silence
Spirit doing the buying and selling
God echoing his message of hope

The mighty and powerful shivering under their tables
Parents wearing mournful cloak
Children with sackcloth of hope
Hunger and depression their captors

Every home putting out its light
City and street it has hushed
Whistling wind of fright and death
Flow quietly passing by the windows

Who began this music
Why experiment in the studio
Today we eat terror and dread the open
And lost in virtual reality and unhappiness

Our children will come to know
Of the risk of irrational knowledge
Only if we humans will learn from the devil
Which we have unleashed upon ourselves

When Janet was done, she kept saying in tears as waters fall from her eyes... "Irrational Knowledge/ Business Idea --- Oh! Men In White at the Playing Ground... A Mistake or An Undertake?"
The Guardian angel shook his head and went about collecting supplication --- taking them to God.

Stay strong my podcast listeners and don't give up yet. The night and darkness of life is upon us but we will keep fighting and crushing the bones of the night until our last drop.

How Can I Escape You Rapist

How Can I Escape You Rapist

The Guardian Angel returned to earth conveying answered to prayers. He was about ascending to heaven when he heard cries of plea. Dashed with lightning speed to the 10,000 spot the cries originated from: he saw women, ladies, little girl forced into sex. He went to the last spot: he saw Jennifer being brutalised and feasted upon by five young men. These are friends she trusted. They too turn inflicting sexual pains on her and it was fun to them: wailing and begging for mercy from her own friends.
The waters dripping from her glossy eyes send sorrows into his heart. He held his heart with tears flowing, as he watched them devour their victims who pleaded, "please" - some who had be drugged to sleep.
He brought out his sword to slain the rapists but a voice said to him, it's not your place to do such. Hold your peace for my daughters' cries will never go unanswered. He put back his sword of vengeance.
The Guardian Angel flew to the sky and invited the souls of all the raped. Beautiful and well crafted being but darkness in their heart and tears falling off their eyes. They appeared before the throne of God and they presented their lamentation. They used the pronoun 'You' referring to their assailants (their rapists).

Rapist: How Can I Escape You My Foes (Justice4Jennifer)
How can I escape from the foes
I dressed properly yet you tore my gown
In your hearts I'm always naked
Decent or indecent I'm your blue film..... Listen to the podcast presentation to get the chilling poetic pains of rape victims.... Stay strong my podcast listeners and don't give up yet. If you're a rape victim be strong and fight for a better life. You're in our prayers and we love you.

Poetic Psalm of Victory Over d'Night

Poetic Psalm of Victory Over d'Night

The Guardian Angel returned to earth and went about his concern. A forceful wind blew past him: it almost throw him away. He raised up his head to the reality unfolding before him. It was night. Does it mean I have be walking all through the nook and cranny of earth and met no human until it's night? He said to himself. He saw an image of a tiny dying light shining. He glanced at it and realised it was injured: patches of dark spot covered few part of its body. The soul was about to fall to the ground. He dashed like flash and held him upright. The soul smiled as its white glowing teeth radiated light. "Am I close to the end"
The Guardian Angel was startled and didn't get understand his question.
"You look confused my angel." He said panting.
"You are injured by the dark and need help."
He tittered but with a broad smile. "I have fought the night of my soul and the night of my life's goals. Only in death will I give up."
His words knocked the reality on ground into the head of the Guardian Angel. Darkness and humming sounds came from all corners. The soul staggered and stood firm holding its weapons: prayers, shield of hope, helmet of optimism and self love, sword of courage and undaunted, breast plate of consistency, iron boot of hard work and chanted song of praise and courage.
The Guardian Angel wasn't meant to interfere unless he's called upon by the soul. Darkness laughed and it echoed all around. He gave a run at the soul: thinking, he's weak. I can destroy him. A Powerful light flung it as the soul swung it's weapons at it.
With Darkness were depression, sadness, bullies, mockeries, failure, laziness, Suicide and pessimism work with the dark lord.
The soul fought and slaughted them while chanting the Poetic Psalm of Victory Over The Night

POETIC PSALM of VICTORY OVER THE NIGHT
Like Knight of glory we overcome the night.
We conquer the turbulence of the night.
We have awoken host of evil along the night.
In our aspiration beyond the dreams of night.
Grace of God has awakened the sense against nights.
Our laziness and despair of sleep caused by the night,
The God of light would transform against the night. You can support this podcast by sharing the links with friends (also telling a friend or two about it). Please read the description and find a way to support. Be kind enough and click the subscribe button.

Sentenced to Starvation

Sentenced to Starvation

Greetings to you!
This is Apoeticnovelist podcast. A show that brings you to poetry and stories.
Your host and Guardian Angel all the way from Lagos Nigeria: Okon Ukeme Cornelius Dominic

Come let's tell our tales of fear, doubt, joys, happiness and love in poetry and stories.

Today the Guardian Angel went around the world. He found the street deserted and he's welcomed by echoes of sadness. He could feel the chilling breeze blowing and goosebumps sprouting on his fresh skin. Mournful flute of wailing greeted his ears. The movies of hands stretched out through the windows for help. Voices calling on their maker to rain hope upon them. Again waters fall from his eyes: the knife of their grief had cut deep into his heart.
Africa caught his attention: he flew landed in Nigeria. Tua a little girl and her family were dying and they composed a poem. He stood by the window and listen them (Tua in Ibibio means to weep). The whole family went on their knees and prayed: they looked up to heaven with tears flowing down their chin.

Sentenced to Starvation
Rain drops of tears
Hope a puff out of my lungs
Bounded by grief
And left alone indoor

Our government has blown the flute
Of death sentence by isolation
We fear the beast
Ravaging souls and cities

But in disguise they condemned us
To Eku (death) by loneliness
Our minds imprisoned
By depression and anxiety

Our daily bread comes
By hourly struggles
Our stomachs are empty
Like riverbed in the desert.

In our aspiration beyond the dreams of night.
Grace of God has awakened the sense against nights.
Our laziness and despair of sleep caused by the night,

Then our dreams would be a reality in spite of the night.
We’ve fought hard and passed unharmed through the night.
Victory our banner we flag high after dispelling the night.
Happiness, Peace and Joy come after the night.
Endurance and consistency our victory is nigh.
Like Knights of the Archangels we crush the night.

It fought like lightning despite its injured. The more he fought chanting the powerful he become. The Guardian Angel watched as each patches of darkness fell of the soul. Brightness emitting from it hit the dark cloud and the sun of glory shine.
Then the Guardian Angel drove to Hades Darkness and it's companion.
The soul lived again growing stronger to face Life's night. © Poem composed by Okon Ukeme Cornelius Dominic (Apoeticnovelist)

In A Bout With Life's Obstacles

In A Bout With Life's Obstacles

The Guardian angel saw Mariam weeping and devastated. She's a young girl in college.
Guardian Angel: "What's wrong with you?"
Mariam: "I can't go on with this. Life's too tough for me."
Guardian Angel: "Is it life or the bout in life?"
Mariam: "What's the difference."
Guardian Angel: "Let me read this poem to you"
Mariam: "Ok!"

Poem
In a bout with you life's obstacles
My bones you break and count
In a way I can't recount
You fasten your chains
Around my neck
Suffocating my efforts
Breathing/gasping for hope
I yearn for home
Like though I'm gone
Both hands and feet of mine
You bind to shame
My effort and time
You bring to grieve
All night she watches
As I groan in pains
None to save me
Nowhere to run
In the mud of my facticity
I'll keep on fighting
Until I break free
From the bondage of fear and failure
And the dungeon of addiction and depression

.................. Guardian Angel: "Did it speak to you?"
Mariam: "Yes! Life is a battle field and each obstacles we must fight. Only when we give up then we are defeated."
Stay strong my podcast listeners and keep fighting till the last puff of air. Hope to see you in 2days time.
