Old Enough to Know Better

Old Enough to Know Better

By Jennifer Welch

Most of us are old enough to know better. Better than to heed bad advice, make bad decisions, buy ketchup popsicles while wearing white clothes...sometimes we do it anyway. Sometimes we don't.

It's not about lecturing, being old or even just making mistakes. Its more about perceptions and lessons learned or reinforced in life from that perspective.

Afraid of the Dark

I have a guest this episode, Bree from Nightmare Fuel, she's also my adult daughter.  I always think I'm old enough that I'm not or should not be afraid of the dark...until something goes bump in the night.

Ep1 Old Enough to Know Better Intro

Ep1 Old Enough to Know Better Intro

When I’d ask an older person how old they were, they’d say something along the lines of “Old enough to know better, too young to care!” Instead of “56, kid, I’m 56!” It used to irk me; I sincerely thought this was just some dumb thing old people said. Maybe it is. Unfortunately, I’m at a point in my life where this seems to be a mission statement.

Sorry...It's a bit choppy, I said "uh" and "um" a dozen times and I annoyed myself, audio editing is new to me; in the future I'll just avoid the uhs and ums!

Edit* I flaked and said Raani Stark near the end...her name is most certainly Raani Starnes! Oops! My bad. =(
