It's time to remove the veil that the false church is using to hide herself from letting believers know that they have been given the cult of Christian religion (the oldest and highest pagan worship on earth) rather than true Christianity.
Are There Still Apostles Today is part of the Removing the Veil series.
It is a quick look into the doctrine that:
1. Only the 12 disciples are qualified to be called Apostles, and
2. After the disciples died, the office of the Apostles ceased.
Essentially, there are no Apostles today.
Removing the Veil on the Origin of the word, Church: A spiritual journey on the Biblical and Historical past of the church.
Did Jesus say, "I will build my KURIAKON" (Church)" or "I will build my EKKLESIA" (ASSEMBLY)?
Kuriakon is a Greek name for the house of a pagan goddess known as Circe.
In German, it is called "Kirche," Cherche in Scottish, and Churche in old English, and now Church. Church (was and is) a BUILDING people GO to worship. Hence, the term, GO TO CHURCH. We do not go to church in Ekklesia because we are the Assembly and we express the assembly when we gather.
The practice, leadership, style, festival, worship, clergy, service, etc, of the church today is sharp and direct contrast to the Ekklesia founded by Jesus and practiced by the early Assembly.
The criminal substitution (not translation) of the Greek word, Ekklesia to Church (rather than (Assembly) is deliberate and against the law of language and translation.
Removing the Veil on the Origin of the word, Church sheds more light on this and also answers the question of how, when, why, and who substituted Ekklesia with Kuriakon.
The powerful priests of Circe (and other pagan religions) who were forced to become Christians by the Emperor's decree criminally took over the Assembly in about 320AD. They massacred the early Christians, burned their scrolls (inserting many of their pagan doctrines in the bible in the name of translating it - and are sadly with us today).
They fed many believers who resisted them to wild animals in stadia and persecuted others to death for many centuries following. They successfully took over the true Assembly and continued their pagan worship of church, leading to the dark ages where only them was known as the church. Many whistle-blowers who revolted were labelled "heretics" and were burned alive.
Believers in the early Assembly who escaped the persecution hid their scrolls and manuscripts in caves as they fled. Some of the original manuscripts discovered thousands of years later have been found to be in sharp contrast to the early Assembly's beliefs and doctrines but have been banned by the same people who exist today as the Church. Now they have many offsprings of various denominations. Many of them are ignorant of their past and sadly practise the same pagan worship as Church in the name of Jesus.
Removing the Veil on the Origin of the word, Church is to help you as a believer know that you have the right to know if you are serving Jesus who promised to build His Assembly (Ekklesia) in Mat 16:18 or ignorantly serving the god of Church that the pagan priest forced on the world in the name of Jesus.
Little did many know or realize that the word “Church” is not in the Bible, the original Bible.
In the popular word of Jesus, "I will build my church," the word translated as "Church" is "Ekklesia" in the original Greek manuscript. The correct translation is "THE ASSEMBLY." Many think that it really doesn't matter (Church or Assembly) but it does when you consider the fact that Church existed during the time Jesus made this statement. He clearly chose the word Ekklesia (Assembly) over the Greek word, Kuriakon (Church).
According to the Oxford Dictionary, the origin of the word “Church” is from Old English cir(i)ce, cyr(i)ce, related to Dutch Kerk and German Kirche, based on medieval Greek Kurikon, from Greek Kuriakon (dōma) ‘Lord’s (house)’, from kurios ‘master or lord’.
It was called:
Kirk in Scotland,
Cherche in Old English.
The pronunciation metamorphosed to chereche, chiriche, chirche in the middle English. Then “Churche,” and “Church” in modern English as we know it today.
There are stack differences between the Church and the Assembly:
People GO TO CHURCH But Believer's don't GO TO CHURCH because they are the "Church."
The Church is governed by Titled Priests, the Assembly is led by Elders without titles but functions
The style of meeting for Church is Clergy-Laity but the Assembly meets by Koinonia (Fellowship) - participation by all.
The Church meet in buildings which is considered the "house of God, the Assembly meet in houses.
The church celebrates many pagan festivals like Christmas, Easter, and so on, The Assembly does not.
When all other religions were forced to convert to Christian religion by Emperor Constantine, the powerful priests came into the assembly and continued their pagan practices as Christians without being born again or converted. When the leaders of the True Assembly objected to this, they unleashed terror on them. They persecuted and killed many while others fled. They then took control of the Assembly appropriating titles to themselves as they fit. They labelled those who opposed them as heretics, burned the Bibles, fed many to wild animals, changed meetings from houses to civic buildings and changed the style of meeting from Fellowship to Clergy-Laity system where no one could talk or participate. Owning a Bible was punishable by death. This is the time the Bible was tampered with and many pagan doctrines and festivals were introduced into the Bible in the name of translating it. That is the Church we have today. Does the True Assembly still exists?
