What I’ve come to discover is that it is the “meaning” we assign to what is happening that causes us to suffer, worry, feel anxious , disappointed and a whole host of other things we don’t want to experience. When we remove the meaning & bring ourselves to the exact present moment , in most cases, everything is ok. Whether you have the discipline or desire to practice the absence of meaning , is another thing. It takes slowing down. It takes love. It takes a wanting for more. 

Sometimes we get addicted to things going wrong & can’t imagine a life of celebration. Imagine a life where you were as obsessed with making your life better?

This was as close to a public break down as I’d like to get , thank you very much.  “About that horse” retells the moving story of how powerful coaching occurs by reading energy.  While vacationing at the gorgeous high end spa, Miraval in Tucson, Arizona, I attended the Equine Horse group experience, out on the Ranch with Wyatt Webb. The practice is the horse can feel your energy and by calming down and being one with yourself and the present moment , you’ll be able to lift the huff of the horse with ease. If you are nervous & stressed, the horse won’t budge.   I had a profound experience both with Wyatt & the horse that took my breathe away & captivated the entire group.

As you listen , ask yourself the question that Wyatt asked me.  It’s been many years since then & I've cultivated many beautiful practices that support a life that puts me at the top of my list daily. I plan to return to the spa and thank Wyatt in person.

In today's podcast, I'm gonna talk to you about being on the verge of falling in love!

I went on my first date in...12 years 4 nights ago and I am super excited that I am officially dating again. It's taking me a couple of years to get back into the mode of even wanting to date and of course COVID did not help but it really didn't have to do with COVID. It had to do with the status of my heart and soul and healing in the relationship with my ex-boyfriend who became my bestfriend and the dance that he and I were doing about of our relationship ending but are still loving each other. And now that I'm fully available to move forward. What is it like to be a woman dating now?

So, I am a traditional woman in a modern world and I very much like a man be in-take the traditional male world in a relationship, in a dating, and it's very interesting because although I'm very much for woman's right and all of that I do very much believe in roles and in certain aspects of a man being the man and the woman being the woman and if there's a lot of confusion around. 

You know, there are certain apps where it's the woman makes the move and the woman is the first one to trigger the communication and then from there, then it's the signal for the man to make the next move. And I was not a fan of that at all! And then there's a lot of passive action from man where they'll just like "Hi!" that's it, that's all they give you. That's all you've got? That's your whole game? Is one word? Just "Hi". That's not hot! That is just not hot. You're saying hello to someone you who find, I guess attractive or you like something in the profile and your leaving your hello? It's like if we were at a bar or out of social event or something. you probably introduce yourself and say something of something other than just one word. So basically, it puts in on the woman to strike up the conversation and then actually it's the woman that's working harder. and that does not turn me on. 

So my first date was with a man, and that felt really nice. And he actually even spoke about women that were really taking the agressive role and he likes to be a man and he likes woman that are feminine. And I love that! And that's my jam. In my business life and in my corporate job for so long I was in that other role and I understand really passionately and deeply what it's like to be in slaying, bring home the bacon and frying it up in the pan and it's the pan that you bought!
