Watch Talk Across the Pond

In this episode Bill and his friend Richmond (who have gone gangsta watch style!) are starting the day with a special Birthday breakfast - I joint them from across the big pond for a catch-up and watch talk! We cover what we think of watch collaborations with some examples and some thoughts on collaborations we'd like to see.

In this episode we take a look at the new second Microbrands Book from Giuseppe aka MrWatch93, what we think of the book and what watches and watch brands have caught our eye. We discuss a bag full of old watches that Bill bought from a flea market, just before we recorded the podcast. Bill updates us on how is SNOB shop is doing. We cover our own experience, opinion of the company and our favourite Seiko watches. We also give our thoughts on: what we think about the rising prices of Seiko watches, making them no longer a budget brand; quality issues with some Seiko watches; are their limited editions of 3000 watches really limited editions; and are they just too big to be a quality watch company!

In this episode we mainly discuss Rolex. We cover our own experience, opinion of the company and our favourite Rolex watches. We also give our thoughts on: do we think Rolex watches are overpriced, who buys Rolex and why and is their marketing strategy good!
