It's Xbox Series X Game Showcase Week this week (or w/c July 27th, if you're still following the usual calendar nonsense in this day and age), and Rob, Aemal and Luke share their hot takes at our first major peek at Microsoft's next-generation offering.  What games piqued our interest, and which annoucements fell flat? Should we rename this podcast to The Gunk? Where the hell are Nintendo right now? This week, we put on our prediction hats and look ahead to the many exciting events in the coming weeks and what we'd like to see in the next generation of gaming (all with our trademark terrible puns and mouth-watering baking coverage). We also answer the important questions such as who we'd like to see announced for Smash (Luke's answer will shock you!), how The Pros play Rocket League (spoiler - ball cam 4 lyf) and where the best place to play mobile games is (yes, it's exactly what you think). All painfully close to being under an hour. We'll get there someday, but for now, enjoy some elite audio content with the One-Hit KO crew.

It's the glorious tenth entry in the epic One-Hit KO saga, and we're back with a raw, gritty and gag-filled episode to mark the occasion. We crawl out through the fallout in our most concise episode yet to discuss a wide range of wild and wacky topics, including real-life locations in gaming, why it's so hard to get the discs out of those cursed steelbooks and whether Valve will ever bless us with a real video game ever again. Rob tries and fails to sing, Aemal doesn't even try to bake and Luke lists off the masses of Fallout 76 memorabilia he reluctantly owns. The Royal Family even have a starring role! We give in to temptation in a banter-packed episode this week on OHKO, as Aemal risks it all on a game of chance, Rob slanders oatmeal cookies whilst desperately trying to keep the podcast under 80 minutes, and Luke is still here to provide a modicum of sanity within a maelstrom of gaming chaos. We debate the best Fire Emblem: Three Houses...house, discuss our dreams for the Fallout TV series and share our baking successes (or lack thereof), before diving into some hotly-debated gaming topics such as next-gen price rises and free-to-play monetisation. This week, Aemal has taken over the reins and has been let loose of his leash! Thankfully, special guest Luke is here to help steer the ship, as we discuss video game music composition and symphonies. We kick off with One-Hit Philosophy O as  explore the Roman Empire and Marcus Aurelius, before heading into Luke's involvement with The Washington Chorus at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall earlier this year before the world ended and the secrets of organising a video game concert.
