2x9: Freaks and Geeks (1999), Part 9: Episodes 17-18
Emily and Andrew reach the end of FREAKS AND GEEKS (and Season Two of Onesies!) with a de facto flashback due to air order hijinks. Listen as they discuss the problems with not airing your best episodes in your initial run, one of the best scenes of television, and talk through a better conclusion to the series. Also lots of verklemptness and the Season Three subject announcement.

2x8 - Freaks and Geeks (1999), Part 8: Episodes 15-16
It's the penultimate episode of Onesies Season 2! Emily and Andrew dig into the... series finale of FREAKS AND GEEKS, then jump back to the fourth episode (in production order) and see how much has changed. More dippy hippies, less period jokes, but also a lot different writing and acting. Different happening to mean better. Join them as they prepare for the season finale!

2x7 - Freaks and Geeks (1999), Part 7: Episodes 13-14
Emily and Andrew discuss Freaks and Geeks's most ambitious story to date, along with the culmination of the first crush arc, the most political the show's gotten, the sad realities of bad writing and bad acting, along with the continued "no notes" glory of Martin Starr.

2x6 : Freaks and Geeks (1999), Part 6: Episodes 11-12 (fixed audio)
FIXED AUDIO. Emily and Andrew tackle the next pair of FREAKS AND GEEKS episodes, which include stand-out episodes for Seth Rogen and Martin Starr. In addition to those highlights, there are some great guest stars, but they also have to again discuss the show's very bad gender politics opinions, not to mention its new anti-drug and pro-God messaging.

2x5: Freaks and Geeks (1999), Part 5: Episodes 9-10
Emily and Andrew celebrate season two's halfway point as they talk about episodes 9 and 10 of FREAKS AND GEEKS (1999). They discuss prank phone calls, character actors, female agency, and timeless fashion styles.

2x4: Freaks and Geeks (1999), Part 3: Episodes 7-8
This episode, Emily and Andrew remember how cool it'd be if the show let its protagonist siblings ever have any scenes together, try to decide what's cringey for when they made the show in 1999 and what's just cringey because it's set in 1980, and once again have no notes for the wonderful Martin Starr. Also SLC Punk is a great movie and people should see it.

2x3: Freaks and Geeks (1999), Part 3: Episodes 5-6
Emily and Andrew talk some more FREAKS AND GEEKS, the 1999 NBC comedy-drama about early eighties high school created by Paul Feig and executive produced by Judd Apatow. Listen as they discuss getting fed up with bad female protagonists (agency, what's that), have no notes for Martin Starr or Dave (Gruber) Allen (just fawning admiration), and "Canada" Joe Flaherty is finally starting to appeal to Andrew.

2-2: Freaks and Geeks (1999), Part 2: Episodes 3-4
Emily and Andrew continue their discussion of FREAKS AND GEEKS, Paul Feig and Judd Apatow's 1999 NBC comedy-drama about high school in the very early eighties. Amid their episode recaps (going in airdate order), the hosts also focus on such topics as The Bionic Woman, Mary Sues (and the weight of using such a phrase), and the joys of sight gags.

2-1: Freaks and Geeks (1999), Part 1: Episodes 1-2
Emily and Andrew kick off Season Two with a look at FREAKS AND GEEKS, an NBC television series created by Paul Feig and executive-produced by Judd Apatow. Listen as they talk about Ben Foster in a problematic part, baby Martin Starr, argue over Joe Flaherty's Canadian heritage, and so on!

4: Free Spirit (1989), Part 4: Episodes 10-11, 13-14 [CORRECTED AUDIO]
We had an audio hiccup but that's fixed here. Sorry about that early listeners! In spite of mostly disappointing or dreadful guest stars, majorly creepy plot points, and bad sitcom fatigue, Emily and Andrew successfully complete their watchthrough of 1989's FREE SPIRIT, the story of a witch (Corinne Bohrer) and her unlikable human charges. They also announce next season's show, which hopefully will not involve Dave Coulier or mullets.

3: Free Spirit (1989), Part 3: Episodes 7-9
In the penultimate episode of season one, Emily and Andrew realize FREE SPIRIT--despite being an ostensible Corinne Bohrer vehicle--might not be a  brilliant-but-cancelled situation (or even, unfortunately cancelled). Instead, the show might've had it coming. Especially with this batch of episodes.

2: Free Spirit (1989), Part 2: Episodes 4-6
This episode, Emily and Andrew continue discussing FREE SPIRIT, including episodes featuring very recognizable guest stars, horrendous mullets (aren't they all), and discover Alyson Hannigan is the only kid on the show worth a darn. For multiple reasons.

1: Free Spirit (1989), Part 1: Episodes 1-3
In their premiere episode, Emily and Andrew dive into the depths of FREE SPIRIT, a 1989 ABC sitcom about a witch (Corinne Bohrer) becoming a housekeeper to recently divorced dad, Franc Luz, and his three kids, Edan Gross, Paul Scherrer, and Alyson Hannigan.
