4x11 - What else is going on?
Thanks to Coronavirus disease 2019 (and a cat with pillow foot), Andrew was unable to report for his POLICE SQUAD (IN COLOR) duty, and instead made Emily talk about her current media consumption. 4x10 - Police Squad, 4 of 6

October 30, 2022
4x9 - Police Squad, 3 of 6
Emily and Andrew finally hit the first problematic POLICE SQUAD, albeit--thankfully--briefly, unless you want to talk about delightful (albeit exploited) primate actors, who also figure into this quite funny episode. The pod also required extra editing from Emily because of fire alarms; she saved you from the beeps, but not from Andrew's ad-libbing.
October 23, 2022
4×8 - Police Squad, 2 of 6
Emily and Andrew head to Cleveland for the big fight! Or is it Cincinnati? Regardless, listen as they discuss the second episode of POLICE SQUAD, directed by Joe Dante and co-wrriten by Robert Wuhl, which has a lot less Leslie Nielsen showcases, but still works out.

Emily and Andrew are pleasently surprised with the second episode, a riff on old Universal Monster movies, with great guest stars and, of course, some excellent Kevin Pollak.
September 04, 2022
4x1 - Morton & Hayes (1991), Episode 1
Join Emily and Andrew as they break through the bounds of their contemporary confinement and journey back to 1991, when Rob Reiner, Michael McKean, and Christopher Guest thought it'd be a good idea to do a NAKED GUN-style spoof of old comedy shorts. Listen as they discuss charming hosts, familiar guest stars, and constant anachronisms.

August 15, 2022
3x11 - Automan, Episode 11

July 09, 2022
3x6 - Automan (1983): Episode 6
Emily and Andrew struggle to stay awake through a magical but not magical AUTOMAN. There's no Lt. Jack being kidnapped, there's no Auto-romance, there's not even naughty Cursor. Instead, it's just the too real tale of dirty cops hurting people. Oh, and tennis. There's tennis.
July 03, 2022
3x5 - Automan (1983): Episode 5
Join Emily and Andrew as they discuss another episode of AUTOMAN! But one where Desi Arnez Jr. doesn't just whine the whole time, Automan falls in love (with a guest starring, not Southern Delta Burke), the villains are all unrecognizable and acting poorly, and the car chases are inept and tedious! 2x7 - Freaks and Geeks (1999), Part 7: Episodes 13-14
Emily and Andrew discuss Freaks and Geeks's most ambitious story to date, along with the culmination of the first crush arc, the most political the show's gotten, the sad realities of bad writing and bad acting, along with the continued "no notes" glory of Martin Starr.
April 24, 2022

FIXED AUDIO. Emily and Andrew tackle the next pair of FREAKS AND GEEKS episodes, which include stand-out episodes for Seth Rogen and Martin Starr. April 11, 2022
2x4: Freaks and Geeks (1999), Part 3: Episodes 7-8
This episode, Emily and Andrew remember how cool it'd be if the show let its protagonist siblings ever have any scenes together, try to decide what's cringey for when they made the show in 1999 and what's just cringey because it's set in 1980, and once again have no notes for the wonderful Martin Starr. Also SLC Punk is a great movie and people should see it.
April 03, 2022
2x3: Freaks and Geeks (1999), Part 3: Episodes 5-6
Emily and Andrew talk some more FREAKS AND GEEKS, the 1999 NBC comedy-drama about early eighties high school created by Paul Feig and executive produced by Judd Apatow. Listen as they discuss getting fed up with bad female protagonists (agency, what's that), have no notes for Martin Starr or Dave (Gruber) Allen (just fawning admiration), and "Canada" Joe Flaherty is finally starting to appeal to Andrew.
March 27, 2022
2-2: Freaks and Geeks (1999), Part 2: Episodes 3-4

4: Free Spirit (1989), Part 4: Episodes 10-11, 13-14 [CORRECTED AUDIO]
We had an audio hiccup but that's fixed here. Sorry about that early listeners! In spite of mostly disappointing or dreadful guest stars, majorly creepy plot points, and bad sitcom fatigue, Emily and Andrew successfully complete their watchthrough of 1989's FREE SPIRIT, the story of a witch (Corinne Bohrer) and her unlikable human charges. They also announce next season's show, which hopefully will not involve Dave Coulier or mullets.
March 07, 2022
3: Free Spirit (1989), Part 3: Episodes 7-9
In the penultimate episode of season one, Emily and Andrew realize FREE SPIRIT--despite being an ostensible Corinne Bohrer vehicle--might not be a brilliant-but-cancelled situation (or even, unfortunately cancelled). Instead, the show might've had it coming. Especially with this batch of episodes.
February 27, 2022
2: Free Spirit (1989), Part 2: Episodes 4-6
