Today, we wrap up our series on positivity and having a positive attitude. If you already have a positive attitude, I challenge you to share that positivity with others in a new way today. If you struggle to be positive, I challenge you to find ways to practice being positive and then reflect on the outcomes. Have a wonderful weekend and I will catch you all next week!
This week we are going to focus on having a positive attitude and any, and Situations. A positive attitude will not change your situation or surroundings, but it will change your perspective. Choose a joy filled and cheerful attitude. Have a great day!
Last month, we talked about having a forward minded thinking, mindset. This is our one month check-in, and I hope that you are doing well as you read your goals for the year allowed each day and are making progress. If not, don’t give up, today is a new day and you can do it!
On today’s podcast we wrap up our series on time. And we look at the story of your life. Ask yourself who, what, where, when, why, and hell you are spending your time. This is what is important, it may not be easy to do but it is a simple decision to make, when you invest in your cell and a balanced usage of your time. Enjoy this journey and writing your story, that’s the only one you’re going to have!
Today’s podcast continues our journey into talking about time. I encourage you to be the light, joy, love, hope, and catalyst to inspire others to be encouraged, inspired, and empowered. Your challenge today, and every day, is to use your light to encourage those people you interact with every day, to see the beauty and love in the moment, making the most of every minute and capturing the intensity and joy of living. We all have the same amount of time, it’s how we use it, share hope in the midst of this dark world and see how you’re little bits of light smother the darkness.
This weeks podcast is going to focus on time and talking about time. We all have the same amount of time, and each day, each year. It is what we do with that time, that matters. We need to learn to appreciate living in the moment, without over planning for the future.
Today’s podcast takes a crazy turn in various directions. It is not in the original message that I thought I would be sharing it is not the message I had originally planned to share recording it out lining up with these verses but, when the Holy Spirit speaks, I have learned to listen. If this message is for you, I hope you find it encouraging and it helps give you direction.
Today we focus on not worrying and looking at the beauty, colors, aroma, and vibrance of the flowers we see instead of the darkness and gloom of the mud and after effects of a long winter. Just like the flowers, God doesn’t want us to worry. If he loves the flowers this much, imagine how much more he loves you, as his child.
During this season of spring, the flowers remind me that we are just like them. We are strong and delicate all at the same time, learn to embrace your strength and embrace your fragility. You are important, loved, and precious!
Today’s podcast is a little shorter than normal so that you will have time to reflect, respond, and pray. May God speak to your heart and draw you closer to him. You are a new creation through your relationship with Jesus.
Today’s podcast is the continuation in our series on rebirth and spring, and today if you remember nothing else, remember that God’s giving you a new life and your reborn to experience a living, energetic hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 1 Peter 1:3.
Today’s podcast as a reminder that there is nothing that you have done, sad, or thought, that God will not forgive. God loves you and is ready to wrap his arms around you and make you into the man or woman he’s designed and called you to be. This spring, focus on the renewal of you, and let God inspire you through the process.
As we wrap up this weeks series on holding onto hope, I hope that there were a nugget or two each day that spoke to you and reminded you that regardless of what you’re going through, good, bad, or somewhere in the middle, but you know that through your relationship with Jesus, you always have hope. When you trip up and fall on your face, God will be there to hold your hand.
Today we delve into her second part of holding on to hope and the reminder of why Jesus died on the cross and we close with a verse reminding us to be strong and brave and not to fear, because God is with us and God will never let us down. Never give up, always hope!
Today we wrap up and revisit your year at a glance that you created this past Wednesday. If you haven’t done that yet, go back and re-listen to Wednesday’s podcast, and then take five minutes and create your plan. You have potential and are going to do great things, I know you can, now you only need to believe in yourself!
Today I challenge you to ask yourself a couple questions and then give you a plan of action to put them into practice. You might be able to listen to this while walking, at the gym, or driving but you will need to carve out 10 minutes of time for a little follow through exercise that will take you far and help you be, who God called you to be!
This week we are going to look at having a forward thinking mindset. The road will not always be smooth and sometimes it might be bumpy, but is your bumpy road because you need to learn and become stronger or is God asking you to change course? Join me today and later this week to learn how to focus on a forward minded thinking.
Today we not only wrap up the series on choosing joy and sunshine but we kind of wrap up the last few weeks of podcast and roll them all together. May you have a wonderful weekend and remember you are worth it!
Today’s Bible verses Remind us to find joy and not to run from the test in the hardships but no matter how difficult or challenging they might be we are to find joy in them. Sometimes people will know we’re going through a hard time and other times no one but God knows, get when you focus on your faith in God instead of your fear in the world, you will have a joy that fills your spirit and allows you to share’s sunshine with all that you meet.
We start the week with a couple verses from lamentations, reminding us that God’s love for us is new every morning. Regardless of what you’re going through, God loves you unconditionally, without fail, and in a way that we may never truly understand and comprehend.
We wrap up this weeks podcast on motivation with a challenge to consider what impact do you wanna have on the world. You do have a purpose! You do have the ability, strength, and endurance to be a positive influence and catalyst in this world. What is holding you back? What motivates you to be this positive influence?
Today we continue in our journey of talking about what motivates you. Sometimes you might have to fake it until you make it, as the old saying goes, but when you are motivated to do what God called you to do, anything is possible. I share that I was often motivated by fear and anger, we don’t want those to be our constant motivator, yet it’s a place to begin.
This week we are going to take a journey into what motivates you, and what are you doing to fuel, encourage, and to fill those desires. Today’s podcast starts with talking about what motivates you with a few different verses and as recording the podcast, I actually worked through something, that I couldn’t figure out on my own at home. I appreciate you listening and sharing this podcast with your friends, if you were enjoying what you hear, hit the favorite button. When you share this on social media, remember to tag me and I will comment that if I see it, but I only see it if you tag me! L
This Friday’s podcast wraps up the series I am focusing on Jesus instead of the mess. It is important to remember that God gives us what we need, not what we want. In life you are going to face different challenges, trials, and troubles. Don’t focus on them, focus on Jesus! I encourage you to remember that God loves you so much that he will give you what you need, not what you want.
Today’s podcast goes a little deeper yet not as deep as Monday. Today, I encourage you to continue to focus on Jesus yeah look out whatever you’re going through as a race. Hebrews 12:1 through eight, talk about the discipline and requirements to run a race. You are running a race for Jesus, and he will not leave you alone in this race. Listen to today’s podcast and remember that you are strong, courageous, enabled,
Today’s podcast is a little deep yet God placed it on my heart so someone listening to the podcast today or watching the video on Facebook, on my keeping it real Cooking with Lisa, Facebook page, needed this message. Be blessed and remember to stay focused on Jesus and not the mess.
Today’s podcast was a joy to record. As I started to record and fumble through the beginning, God spoke to me and helped me to realize why I was being overwhelmed well trying to encourage you not to be overwhelmed. Take a listen and find out how God worked in and through me to encourage you today.
Today we look at first John 4:4 in Psalm 142:3 and we are reminded that God is a conqueror, and he lives within us, and that means that we are conquerors too. When you’re feeling overwhelmed, remember that you are a conqueror, and I hope today’s podcast will help encourage you and remind you of how strong you are and that you’ve got this.
For some, it’s easier not to get overwhelmed than it is for others. I am one that if I am not focused and remembering to behave and look up, that I can become overwhelmed. This week we will look at different verses and ways to help us not get so overwhelmed in the busyness of life.
Today’s podcast is a smorgasbord of ideas from fear, fresh flowers, to do list, and the overall theme of finding balance in your life. I pray that as you listen to today’s podcast, that God speaks to your heart and you take away at least one nugget of hope and encouragement to help you find a balance in your life, so that you have moments of fresh flowers and not red roses.
In life we have many things that we want to do, we must do, and things that others want us to do. In order to remain healthy, we need to find a balance, what is one area in your life that is out of balance? After listening to today’s podcast, I encourage you to focus on that one thing and how you could create more balance in that area.
Now that you know what your passion is, and how to fuel your passion, now is the time to remember that when God has instilled some thing in your life and created a passion within and you, you are called to share this and help build his kingdom.
As you work through this weeks series on focusing on your passion, remember that what fuels your passion, is your faith. What fuels your faith are the things that you do to keep your faith strong. Be sure to listen to today’s podcast to learn more. Http://lisambuske.com
This past month a friend shared the Facebook page, "Jason's Creations" and how this young man, Jason, was striving for 100 likes on his page. He has since reached this goal and is now striving for 1,000 likes. Jason summed it up best of why you should like his page and purchase his bags, and new headbands, they are made as a family and with lots and lots of love!

Today we look at a verse from Psalm 32 anniversary from Matthew six, and I encourage you to pray, reflect, and think about how God has gifted you and the talents he’s given you, and how can you use those to pursue the God – inspired passion in your life.
Today’s podcast wraps up our series on keeping the faith. Regardless of what you were going through in life, remember to pause, listen, trust, and pray. God is always there for you, he is just waiting for you to ask for his help.
This weeks message, was originally scheduled for last week but I was unable to do the podcast. I should’ve opened my podcast journal, and God would’ve reminded me, last week, to keep the faith. I hope you enjoy this weeks series! Readings from: Psalm 28:7 and Hebrews 11:1-3
Today’s podcast kind of takes a cycle around the word hope and I hope you will listen to the end for a powerful called prayer, as one voice, praying to the source of hope, God. May we join together in prayer and let the hope that lives within us, overflow to all of those in our circle of influence.
This week we are looking at Hope and how God is the source of hope and through your relationship with him, your Hope is overflowing. You are not called to save that Hope up for a rainy day, you were called to share it with your neighbors, share it with others. Who are you blessed today and share Hope with?
As we round up the week, whatever you were passionate about and gifted in, may you do that and God’s strength and bless others. God gifted you, to be the person to interact with those people, and share his love, hope, grace, enjoy.
Today’s podcast encourages you to not only think about what you’re passionate and gifted to do but whose strength are you relying on to do it and when you are inspired and doing what God called you to do you may get tired but you’re not gonna be overwhelmed and discouraged in a way that defeats you, a lot to think about today.
Often in January, podcast and blogs will focus on goalsetting and why it’s important to set goals. This year, I wanted to try something new and focus on what are you gifted in and what are you passionate about? What are you doing to encourage and inspire others?
Today we take a look in Colossians, chapter 1, as a reminder to be thankful and praise God for all that he has done and has yet to do. As you strengthen and develop your faith disciplines, remember to praise God for the things that only he can do and thank him for the way he’s working in your life. I hope you had a wonderful and blessed week, and I look forward to seeing you next week.
Today we wrap up Ephesians 1:15-23 with a challenge to rank your faith and the things you do to strengthen, share, or praise God as it relates to your faith. Through this process, he will be able to recognize where you have areas of weakness, in a direction to strengthen and renew your faith by starting where you’re weak and making it strong.
Today we focus on feeding your faith as we look at fusions chapter 1, verses one through 14. I encourage you to spend as much time feeding your faith as you do sharing it, so that you will avoid a spiritual burn out.
So today we look at a couple different verses on joy and my scattered, squirreled-brain, takes us back to you when I was in Catholic high school that has nothing to do with choosing joy but thankfully I pull it back around and we end talking about joy and the new year. If you check out today’s podcast, thank you for sticking with it and have a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful new year!
You were given the choice in life to choose joy, regardless of what challenges or obstacles you face. I encourage you that as you say goodbye to 2020 and look to 2021, that you make the conscious effort to choose joy. You are the only one that can determine your outlook for the future. Will you choose joy this year?
As we move through this week looking at humility and humbling ourselves how have you stepped outside of your comfort zone or your box to humbly serve and be a blessing to those around you or in your hometown that you may not live in any longer?
This week we will focus on humility and the benefit of being humble. Today as you listen to the podcast remember to close yourself with compassion kindness humility gentleness and patience and others will see Jesus through you to do these things. Have a great day!
This week is focused on planning. On Monday we looked at you know being a planner versus not being a planner. Wednesday we looked at planning to spend time with God every day. And today, we concluded with those things you can’t plan. Even though there are things you can’t plan, you can plan to rely on God. Have a wonderful weekend!
I am a planner! There I said it, I am a planner. Some of us are planners and then there are those that are able to just go with the flow. Where do you fall on that spectrum? Are you able to celebrate the differences and embrace the differences, and sometimes step out of your box and step into the other person’s way of living? I hope you’ll join me today and the rest of the week as we look at planning.
Today’s podcast takes a deeper look into the best friend that you will ever have in this world, Jesus Christ. Faith, hope, and love are the foundations and require requirements that we need in this world and the greatest of all of them is love. May you spend this Thanksgiving eve making memories, celebrating your friendship with Jesus, and drowning out the darkness with all the good that is available.
This week we are going to look at the importance of family and our lives and choosing to celebrate and focus on the good things that are happening in our lives and around us. We take a look at first Corinthians 13:13 and find encouragement that the three things that remain our faith, hope, and love!
We wrap up this weeks podcast series on thinking of others first and I am encouraged to know that so many people have embraced this week series and then as you receive encouragement, comfort, love, sharing from the Holy Spirit, tenderness, and compassion, that you take that and turn that into a joy that you share with others being in one spirit and one mind with Jesus Christ. You are a catalyst for change and you have the ability to change the outlook of someone’s life today!
Today we look at a verse from scripture that reminds us that God is the gardener and he will cut and prune those things in our life that need to be taken away or cut back so that we can be the best version of ourselves, and the most blessing to others. In order to think of others first, we need to listen to God and be focused on what he is calling us to do, not what we want to do.
With Thanksgiving a week and a half away, it is a great time to pause and think of ways that we can bless others, and put them first! May today’s message inspire and encourage you, and may you be the first in a cycle of change in encouragement throughout the week. You never know where your one act of kindness will go, or how far it will spread.
As we wrap up this week, remember to be generous with all you think, say, and do and if you don’t have the money to do what you want to do, find a way to be generous with the gift of time. Use the unique gifts that God’s given you to be a blessing to others.
Today’s podcast continues our journey in the generosity and I’m gonna tell you that at first I thought my gosh I’m feeling in my presentation, then I paused and prayed and I think with God’s help I turned it around and I’m praying that this message will speak to you.
This is been a challenging and tough week as we looked at the desires of our heart and how they align with God and his call on our life. I hope you took time to follow through on some of the strategies and thoughts to ponder that were shared. May you be blessed and fruitful. Have a great weekend!
This week we are looking at the desires of your heart and setting goals. Have you taken the time to put your goals in writing yet? Have you written your goals so that they were plane and understandable to anybody that might see them? Who is your accountability partner? Listen more on today’s podcast.
So often we set goals at the end of December for the new year. This week I want to challenge you to look at October as a time to recognize your desires, set goals, and align them to what and where God has called you.
As we wrap up this weeks podcast series on Outlook, we look at how you are anointed, commission, and called for a special mission from God. What is your outlook? How does your outlook a line with God’s calling on your life? It’s a great time to reflect and renew yourself with a positive outlook that is a down payment of things to come.
Today’s podcast goes a little deeper than Monday as we look at being lonely and how this might affect your outlook. I encourage you to find a time to listen to today’s podcast in the quietness of your home, your car, or wherever that is that you may be able to have that conversation with God so that you don’t feel alone any longer. May the outlook you have the Eternal, not in the moment.
This week we will look at the outlook you have towards life. Instead of viewing the things that shock you, interrupt your plans, or get in the way as reasons to be miserable, I encourage you to look at them as opportunities to share your faith and model your faith.
This week has been a challenging podcast for us, right, because it’s been about focusing on renewing who we are. It’s been about renewing who we are in the eyes of Jesus and with the person we see in the mirror. I hope as you move into the weekend, you are inspired and motivated to be the best version of yourself and continue the renewal process in the weeks to come.
Today we focused on creating a pure heart, a clean heart and looking to God and using Psalm 51:10-12, as a prayer to God, for his strength and provision as we focus on the renewal of our heart and life to be the best version of herself that we can be.
In life, if we are to be lifelong learners and the best version of ourselves that we can be then we need to spend time reflecting and praying about ways we can improve. This week we’re gonna look at renewal. What is an area in your life where you need a renewal? Be sure to listen to today’s podcast on why you don’t want to grow weary and later in the week as I encourage you to renew and be the best version of yourself that you can be!
This has been a deep week in the podcast world for me, I pray that it has touched your heart and you took away some time this weekend to put some goals in writing, to help you remain dedicated and determined to be the best version of yourself!
In life we need to trust God and give him the credit. As we seek his will, we have a choice to either follow where he leads us or our own ideas. God is not a bully, I encourage you to take time to pray, reflect, and most importantly listen! God always answers.
This week we will look at dedication and determination. You may feel like you were in a funk at one point or another in your lifetime, it’s your determination and your dedication to focus on moving forward that will help you overcome the funk and celebrate life to the fullest!
Today’s podcast is an honest look of the cost of perseverance and the cost of not following what God has led you to as you persevered. How often do you find yourself saying hi? Why are you, candy, trying to do this on her own?
I’m going to warn you, today’s podcast went much deeper than I had planned yeah I’ve come to understand that if that’s the message God has placed on my heart, someone listening needed to hear it today. I pray that God speaks directly to your heart and whatever you’re beginning is a blessing to him, and you.
This week series challenges you to start somewhere, start at the beginning. Genesis 1:1 reminds us and tells us that God created everything, that includes you. Where were you begin? What is your moving target?
Today’s podcast is short, sweet, and a little scattered. You have one exhausted, lifelong learner, and anxious educator podcasting to you today. I can’t wait for school tomorrow and my mind is racing so fast, I apologize for the scattered Ness of this podcast and I hope that you are able to take something away and strive to be that lifelong learner.
This weeks podcast will look at the benefits of being a lifelong learner. Are you a lifelong learner? Why or why not? Take a listen and feel free to leave a review and share with your friends and family, have a wonderful week everybody!

We were never alone when you have help, today’s podcast takes a look at Hope through verses in Hebrews in first Corinthian’s, in darkness hope is the light connecting you to Jesus and helping you get through.
This week we look at the importance of how we think, what we do, and how we live need to be acceptable in the eyes of God. It is possible in Psalm 19:14 is a prayerful meditation that we can use Daley as a reminder, a mantra, to live for God and not for the world.
Do you will be faced with different situations, people, and things that will require you to except what you believe is unacceptable. You don’t need to do this alone, and according to the Bible, God will return a blessing to you because you bless someone else.
We focused on rest this week, are you doing your best to rest? To read your Bible? Attend worship service? To pray? To spend some time sitting quietly? Are you taking a Sabbath day of rest each week? Listen to today’s podcast and you will be able to do this at the end, with God’s help.

As you move forward in life it is important to remember why you are doing the things you do and how God has impacted and changed your life. Use this remembrance as your diving board to share joy and love with others and allow God to "make you" willing. Oh yeah, wait until you hear about how I ask God to "make me", and I appreciate it. Who thunk it?!
Waiting is one of the hardest things you’ll do in life. In spite of our stubbornness and selfishness, God is right there with us as we wait and loves us with boundless compassion and will give us the happiness we so long for.

The very lessons and messages I shared with you all summer about not doing too much and taking time for yourself, I must have forgotten it’s only the second week of school and I needed the reminder myself.
It’s easy to get so busy that you forget to take time to rest and sharpen your saw, take care of yourself. You can’t take care of others if you get burned out, so remember to slow down and do something you enjoy today.
In life we have choices, in order to be successful we need to know what motivates us. We also need to know ourselves on a deeper level so that we can achieve that success, do you know what motivates you? Be sure to listen to today’s podcast
The podcasts and blogs have been few and far between over the past couple weeks, yet the memory making in time with family from out of town has been plentiful. Be sure to take a listen to today’s podcast, it’s my birthday and I share words of wisdom and talk about poop too LOL
As a conference wound down, the ideas increased and I took advantage of time with dear friends and new friends, rather than podcasting. I will not apologize, we need to put people before social media. Take a listen to this podcast and hear the summary of the writers conference plus a little reflection on the morning after.
